Ruan Tian looked around at the dull and monochrome room around her and tried to change the subject. She asked, “Why am I in your bedroom?”

Qin Yu snorted and said, “You have amnesia now?”

Ruan Tian shot back angrily, “I do not.”

Qin Yu pulled out a clean shirt and pair of pants from his wardrobe and casually began to get dressed in front of her. As he pulled the shirt on, he said, “Back while you were still feverish, you clung to my neck and refused to let go, crying and saying that you wanted to sleep in my bed.” After pausing for a few seconds, he curled his lips into a smile and continued, “You were insistent on me taking off my clothes and sleeping with you.”

Ruan Tian didn’t believe a single word, “You’re talking nonsense.”

Qin Yu buttoned up the last button of his shirt and said with a smile, “You don’t believe me?”

His tone changed and turned a bit wistful, “And even after you were clinging to me and telling me not to leave the bed…”

“You… scram! I’m going to take a bath.” As soon as Ruan Tian heard this, she knew that he was definitely talking nonsense and didn’t care to continue the topic.

However, as soon as she got out of bed and put on her slippers, Qin Yu suddenly said, “There’s no change of clothes for you here…”

“Why don’t you just wear my clothes for now? You can wear my underwear as well?”

Ruan Tian picked up a nearby pillow and threw it at him while shouting, “Quickly scram away! ! !”

Qin Yu muffled a laugh and said, “Anyway, I’ll go downstairs first. I’ll ask the nanny to send you some clothes.”

After being meticulously taken care of by Qin Yu for the past few days, Ruan Tian actually felt quite moved in her heart. However, she felt a bit embarrassed at the thought of saying something like “Thank you for your care until now” to Qin Yu, considering their relationship.

Meanwhile, Mother Qin was very happy when she found that Ruan Tian had recovered from her illness. When she saw Ruan Tian come downstairs, she said worriedly, “TianTian, just stay here with me for a while. Don’t worry about going home.”

Ruan Tian couldn’t do anything when faced with this “gentle offensive” and could only agree.

…or maybe she just didn’t feel the need to firmly refuse now that she found that she didn’t hate Qin Yu anymore.

Mother Qin personally cooked a large table of dishes that night and even Qin An came back to join in on the fun, ensuring that the table was very noisy throughout.

After she filled her stomach, Ruan Tian went back up to bed and lay down.

While browsing through her friend’s Moments, she happened to see a piece of news about Zhou Xiaoqiao, who had moved abroad earlier in the year.

Zhou Xiaoqiao had enrolled in a well-known fashion design college overseas. However, it seemed that someone saw the designs she used in order to be admitted into the school and suspected they were plagiarized. That person reported the situation to the school and the school immediately investigated only to find that the designs really were plagiarized. Once this was found out, the school instantly canceled her student status and directly expelled her.

It seemed that Zhou Xiaoqiao was not doing so well abroad.

Jiang Lili posted to the private group that was discussing the topic: 【It seems the wicked really will receive their just deserts one day.】

Ruan Tian replied: 【Seeing Zhou Xiaoqiao in this state, my heart feels like it’s flying.】

Qin An:【Zhou Xiaoqiao today is basically the same as the old you! She’s like a rat trying to cross the road, being beaten and scolded by everyone who sees her!】

Ruan Tian: 【? Scram for me.】

After chatting randomly for a while, Ruan Tian felt sleepy and fell asleep with her cell phone still in her hands.

A few days later, the winter film season arrived and movies began to be released one after another.

‘The Eldest Young Miss is Here’, which starred Ruan Tian and Shao Chengyue, took a natural advantage thanks to being in the comedy genre and performed unexpectedly strongly. Despite only being fourth place in pre-sales, it managed to win first place in attendance on the day of the premiere.

Many people who had been following the project expected it to be vulgar, forced, and full of unfunny jokes, but after watching it, they changed their minds one after another.

The film production indeed looked rough, but the script was unexpectedly solid. The punchlines came quickly and rapidly throughout the film, but were also not conventional or predictable. The overall pacing of the film was quick, and the actors showed great competence despite their comedic roles.

Before the movie released, everyone thought that Ruan Tian could only play bitter and tragic characters, so they were very suprised to find that her performance in a comedy film was actually so good.

Meanwhile, the director had a unique way of generating publicity for the film. Unlike other directors who would only release teasers or clips, he directly released the film’s single bed scene in its entirety on the official Weibo account on the day of the premiere.

In less than half a day, the video always had more than 10 million views and the number was only going up.

Of course, the comments were full of people tagging Qin Yu:

“@QinYu, you’re looking a bit green.”

“@QinYu, Can you hear the raindrops falling on the green, green grass.”

“@QinYu, You’re really too miserable. Despite the film’s largest investor being Qin Pictures, they still gave you such a big green hat.”

“@QinYu, when will you show a new wife-chasing scene for us netizens! ! !”

When the director saw this happening, he panicked and immediately began manually deleting all these comments. He was familiar with Qin Yu’s jealous temper and didn’t want to court death.
