While both Kritos and Lakhan were talking to each other, they heard a voice.

"Huh! Are you guys forgot about me,"

Both of them shifted their head towards the source of the voice.

"No, elder brother, come sit with us," Kritos replied as he looked at Sanju.

Internally Kritos has a sigh of relief after watching Sanju don't sustain any injury.

Sanju genuinely smiled and sat at the other side of the bed after greeting his grandfather.

"How are you feeling now, brother," Sanju inquired

"Better, I don't feel an inch of pain in my body," Kritos said.

"Good," Sanju said.

Watching both of them heartily talking, Lakhan decided to take his leave. He had a lot of clan work pending, he just came here to see the condition of his grandson and give him the necklace.

"You guys talk with each other. I have other work pending. Kritos if you need anything you can freely come to my room. See you soon boys." Lakhan stood from the bed and cheerfully said.

Kritos knew due to him, his grandfather had must pending some of the clan's work.

Being a clan head of a great clan wasn't an easy task. With great power comes great responsibility. 

To maintain the top position of the clan in the Rewa city. Clan heads would have to go through many paper works and also continuously train his body.

From the outside, it may look like the great clan were prosperous but they have many responsibilities. In contrast to this, they have to face oppression from the kingdom capital.

"Ok, I'll grandpa and also take care of yourself too," Kritos replied.

At last, both of them greeted Lakhan when he was leaving.

After a minute of Lakhan depart

Sanju fiercely looked at Kritos and said," Brother, don't worry I would certainly let them regret their action." 

A glow arises on Kritos' complexion after noticing Sanju's concern. 

Kritos held his head high and in a high spirit he grumbles, "Let's bygone the past, Karma would eventually let them suffer. You don't have to do anything."

"But! Are you sure brother?" Sanju again expresses his concern.

Kritos nodded his head in agreement and changed the topic.

However, Sanju was determined to take vengeance, he wanted to let them know his brother wasn't something anyone can trifle with easily. 

'Brother you are too kind, you don't know how this world works. Karma only favors one who had the strength to protect himself.' 

While Sanju was in deep thought, Kritos remembered something and quickly inquired," Elder brother, did you consume the magical fruit?"

Sanju woke up from his thoughts and answered back," No, not yet! I was planning to consume it at today's celebration."

Kritos could see the excitement in his face when he talked about the magical fruit.

"Celebration?" An astonished look appeared on Kritos face.

"Yes, a celebration for your awakening as a late one," Sanju answered

With a bewildered expression, Kritos said," Brother, I wanted to surprise them by participating in the challenger league."

As Sanju heard, he couldn't help but be a little excited about seeing a late one, soul beast. And it was a good chance for Kritos to let everyone know in Rewa city that finally, he is a cultivator.

"Ok, but only participate in the first phase, understand. The second phase is a little difficult for you who just started his cultivation." Sanju seriously said.

Kritos nodded his head but something else was going on in his mind. 

'Brother, I'm on a mission. Now, I can't back down.'

In the tournament, the challenger league which was held every three years. There were two phases in which the first phase was just a way to welcome the audience and let them enjoy themselves fully. 

In the first phase, any young cultivator could participate and exhibit his/her skill on the stage in front of all audiences. The judges from the three great clans would determine the winner through the most number of votes from the audience. In this phase, mostly low-rank cultivators and mages join and display their skills. High-rank cultivators disdain this phase as they don't consider the entertainer as a good way to describe them.

The real competition starts after the first phase, where the real warrior and mages get the chance to show off their strength to the masses.

In the second phase, there are many rounds. The first rounds began with an erratic race where most of the participants would be eliminated and the qualifiers would get the chance to participate in the knockout matches of the second round.

The second round could lead to certain injuries to an individual, even death in some cases. So a Non-offensive pact shares or displays on the board for the qualifiers, where clearly written that - No participants will be responsible for the injuries or even death of a fellow cultivator in the battles. However, if the participants chose to concede the match in between battle then the opponent must have to step down. 

The participants who qualified in the second round would eventually be able to participate in the final round. It was an opportunity that every youth in the Rewa city yearned for in their childhood, to become the challenger of the year and win the first prize.

After talking for half an hour, Sanju also decided to take his leave after telling something," Kritos, this year's challenger league would be different than the previous year and this time rewards are way more promising than ever. It'll be fascinating to watch this year's battle."

One person could only participate one time in their lifetime in the challenger league and they must be younger than 18 years.

So, it'll be normal for Sanju to cheer for this year's clan participants.

When Sanju departed from the room, Kritos stared at him for a minute. He was bewildered and confused after watching Sanju's status.

Kritos had compared Sanju status from his grandfather, Lakhan status both of them have many similarities.

However, these similarities are something that caught him. First, he didn't understand the meaning why in the race section other than the human, there is something else. Second Sanju is not a pure human as his bloodline is a mixture of two bloodlines. One is human, the other is something which his ability couldn't see. 

And the last in the Remark section, there is a warning which fully indicates there is something odd about his brother.

"My half of bloodlines also came from the Diwivedi people but why I'm pure human," Kritos questioned himself.

He had already guessed that most certainly his grandfather was also not a pure human like his elder brother.

However, from here a question arrives if they aren't pure humans then who they are?

After some time, Kritos thought that first, he would check his ability on his parents, then only he could conclude something from his observation.

For now, It was meaningless to think about it. 

Kritos knows that his parents were at home because his grandfather and uncle have insisted them to stay at their house.

After the treatment from the Golden hair of the Crimson Lion soul beast. The physician had told them that he's free from the danger and his injuries would heal at an alarming speed. 

Still, he can't go back home now. In the afternoon his parents would come to pick him up.

Kritos has assumed that he would have almost 3 to 4 hours before going home. So, he decided to create a plan for creating his soul beast at night. 

But he had a difficult time selecting laws and elements. Kritos couldn't properly decide which elements and laws are most powerful.

Kritos hasn't inclined towards any element or law. He just wanted to pick up the most powerful element and law.

With his limited knowledge of many elements and law, Kritos don't want to trust his luck.

Only one person has knowledge about the whole elements, his System. Well, he isn't a person.

Eventually, he decided to learn about the elements and laws from the system and clear his doubts.

When Kritos was thinking about his soul beast, Sanju was in his secret training area.

"Anyone who would harm any of my family members only deserves death."

BOOM!!!

With a strike, Sanju destroys the metal puppet with his fist. This was only a way, he could lessen his anger.
