Kritos saw a flower pot in front of his bed while activating his Inspection Ability.

For a moment of second, Kritos black eyes were changed from black pupil to dark black.

Suddenly, a little information about the flower appeared in front of him.

Even if the Status screen of the flower doesn't appear in front of him, Kritos would automatically perceive the knowledge about the flower.

The system is literally transferring the knowledge his brain received into a data form.

Anyway, it would give Kritos accurate information about the thing.

A satisfactory smile emerges on Kritos face, "This ability gave me a massive benefit compared to anything. It's a versatile ability that could be used in any field."

The way System depicts the physical status of the flower is understandable. 

Compared to a real sentient being, the strength of a standard flower is insignificant.

Evolution was the only term where Kritos got confused. He had heard about the mutation, whereas evolution was something new for him.

Kritos believed that the System would know something about evolution.

Listening to the statement of System, Kritos has a grasp of understanding about evolution.

Later, Kritos uses his ability on many non-living objects like his clothes or a wall painting.

Compared to any living thing, non-living status was in just one line, telling about its uses and formation.

After a few minutes of testing, Kritos looked at the storage function on the System tag.

Abruptly, the closed door of the room opened from outside.

A tall figure came from the opened door. He glanced at Kritos adorably.

"How are you feeling, my boy?"

Kritos turned around and saw his maternal grandfather standing in front of the door. He saw the love and care in his deep gaze.

Most probably, he doesn't sleep at night due to the worries.

Kritos quickly activated his ability and glanced at Lakhan.

"Hah! Nothing, I'm feeling better. Please, sit on the bed; you look a bit tired, grandpa." Kritos replied with a cheerful smile

Lakhan delightfully smiles after hearing Kritos words.

"Sure,"

Lakhan reached out at Kritos bed and placed his hand on his head.

"Remember, Grandpa will take your revenge. You don't have to worry about it."

Seeing a serious and gentle look on his face, Kritos remains quiet.

Afterward, Kritos looked at Lakhan's eyes and said," No need, grandpa, it was a fight between youth. You don't have to be involved in this. Moreover, I was also at fault."

Lakhan doesn't understand the thought going on Kritos mind. He knows his grandson wouldn't blindly provoke anyone. Yet, he was expressing equal guilt.

'Boy, you are too naive. This world doesn't work on kindness and forgiveness.' Lakhan thought.

Kritos waited for the Lakhan to reply while he was staring at him.

Lakhan took out an amulet from his pocket and placed them at Kritos right hand.

"Kritos, wear it around your neck and never remove it from your neck. This necklace has the blessing of the Wolf god. It'll protect you from unexpected danger and harm." 

Kritos blatantly look at the brown amulet and notice a deep blue color at the center of it. 

Suddenly, Kritos imagine someone sucking his eyes into a source of water. He tried to pull himself away, but it was meaningless.

"Hey boy, stop looking at the center of it, or you'll lose in the imaginary world." Lakhan silently said.

As he heard a voice, Kritos pulled out himself from the illusion.

Kritos breathes a sigh of relief and angrily looks at his grandfather.

"Sorry boy, earlier I forgot to tell you about this. Hahaha!" Lakhan loudly laughs at the miserable face of Kritos.

For a brief moment, Kritos remain mad, then he asks, "Grandpa, from where you got this amulet."

"Huh! Actually, this amulet worked as a Protector for each generation's clan heads. From now on, it'll be your protector." Lakhan genuinely smiled.

After hearing, Kritos hesitated for a second and said, "No, I can't take it. It's meant for the next generation clan head, not for me."

"Ohh boy, Just keep it. If somehow it becomes useless to you or you become powerful enough to protect yourself, then you can return it to me."

Seeing Kritos remains silent, Lakhan continued, "You know what its name is. Our ancestors called it sylveon, a gift to us by our lord."
