"I did not run away. I left a note."

She indeed left a note, so its not like he did not know. It isn't like when mother disappeared. She informed Haruka and said she would be in contact with him when things get settled.

The gun in his hands, before she could register anything, she was on the ground. Ameno-senpai, on top of her, he shielded her and took the bullet. She has not seen him since then. But according to his letter, he was chasing after Kiryu.

Kiryu attacked her.

He did not lose control of his instincts as a hanyou. But he acted her while he maintained his human side.

Lila did not know what to think of this. But she could not deny what happened right before her.

"Are you okay, Lila?" A familiar voice said. She glanced at the source and found Shichiro there. It looked like he just returned since he still wore his coat. Did he rush here the moment he arrived?

Lila nodded. "I guess."

Shichiro sighed. "A vague answer. I guess can mean many things. You really need to expand your vocabulary..."

"Che, why do I have to use complicated words all the time?" Lila pouted.

"If you can act like a child, then you're fine." Shichiro turned to Eijiro. "Does she know what happened yesterday?"

"What happened?"

"Several bodies were discovered last night, all of them were found dead. Forensics told us that Kiryu's blood was found on the scene of the crime."

Her eyes widened when she heard that explanation.

Sweat trickled down her face again. Kiryus blood....at the sight of the crime? "That's a lie, Kiryu will not..." Lila struggled to finish her sentence. Even though she knew he would not harm another person, what is this situation?

Eijiro slammed his fist against the wall. "Don't joke around, Shichiro. Kiryu will not harm a fly."
