Laude saw his grandson Jasper giving his everything to this attack. With that said, he didn't plan to dodge or counter the attack and only intended to receive it with as if, wide-open arms.

He too wanted to see himself how strong his grandson had grown.

But to his shock, as Jasper was coming nearer and nearer, Laude saw a little red sparrow flying right in front of his face. Did he just let his guard down? Laude didn't know how did this little bird manage to come close to him without him being aware of it. And from the looks of it, this was something made by his grandson Jim.

Laude felt like he should not let this bird touch him but he already made up his mind that he wouldn't move a step and would willingly receive the attack of his grandson Jasper. With that said, he only prepared himself for any possible attack of this little bird.

Jim also knew this, the pride of his grandfather. Once the other party made up his mind, he wouldn't go back to what he wanted. And Jim noticed that his grandfather intended to face his younger brother's attack head-on. That being said, he too, took the opportunity to make his move as he sent one of his Blood Minions to his grandfather to give him a little surprise.

"That bird..." When Chad saw the red bird, he was startled. He was more than sure that he saw this kind of bird before. And he had actually one of its kind being locked up in the little space inside him.

Is that bird is little Jim's? Chad could only guess about it and at the same time, he was amazed. He knew that that bird was strange as he was helpless to see through it. He never thought that it was Jim's. Just where did the other party manage to get such a thing?

Never he realized that it was actually, a creation of Jim himself!

Finally, Jim's Blood Minion touched the body of Laude. As the bird was approaching him leisurely, Laude tried to raise his hand to catch the bird.

But who would have thought that the bird wouldn't even bother to change its direction and had as if embraced his palm excitedly. The moment he grabbed the little bird, it was as if he grabbed a liquid. He'd just saw the bird had actually turned into blood!

But what was terrifying was that the blood got stuck on his palm and when he looked at it, the blood was actually trying to absorb his blood!

What the! Laude was startled but then...

Jasper had finally managed to deliver his all-out attack to his grandfather. His punch had just landed right on top of the other party's head making the unprepared Laude crashed down on the ground heavily.

Sabog!

An explosion was then formed as Jasper had immediately backed away to put some distance from his grandfather. But why was it that Jasper felt like he had just absorbed a certain amount of Life Energy making him feel that he was still fine even after that attack? 

One must know that the skill he'd just used would drain not only his World Energy but his Life Energy as well. But now, his expectation for both of his Life Energy and World Energy to be drained didn't happen. He thought that after that attack, Jasper's Possession would be terminated. But now? He was even feeling that his Life Energy had increased well and his World Energy was regenerating at an unusually fast rate.

Was this the doings of his big brother? Just what did the other party had given to him?

Jim on the other hand was now grinning. His plan had just succeeded, why would he not be happy with that?

Jim realized that in every drop of his blood, its ability would depend on his intent. If he intended for his blood to heal, then it would heal. And if he intended for his blood to absorb life, then it would do what he intended for it.

And the one he gave to Jasper had an intent to absorb life. But of course, it was not to absorb Jasper's life but to give him an ability to absorb life as well! Just what incredible skill Jim had just discovered? Jim really felt excited this time as he thought about what name he would give to that skill.

On the other hand, Chad found his eyes widened in shock and astonishment. He'd just saw Laude being crashed down on the ground, how could he not feel that way?

That was a deadly attack! Chad guessed that if he was the one who received that attack, he would have a hard time living in this world.

But Chad knew full well that it wasn't the attack of Jasper itself that brought such damage. With the help of his Pulang Mata, he had seen that Jasper had absorbed the blood of Laude in that short moment of contact. And that wasn't Jasper's ability!

Chad shifted his gaze to Jim for he knew that it was Jim's. He narrowed his eyes towards the other party as one word escaped from his mouth, "Monster..."

He had seen as well that before Jasper's attack had landed on Laude, the little red bird that Laude had caught made him lose his guard against Jasper. He could see as well that that little bird had absorbed the blood of Laude making him lose his defense.

With that said, Chad could tell that this time, Laude had really suffered some damage!

Nonetheless, Chad knew as well that it still wasn't enough. It wasn't enough to give Laude a considerable amount of damage! After all, that person, no, that monster was a real monster here!

"Brat. You've got a nice trick under your sleeve there."

And just like that, Just as Chad was thinking how great of a monster Laude was, everyone heard his voice echoing around coming from inside of where the explosion had just formed that was now filled with black smoke.

Jim, Jasper, and Chad narrowed their eyes from where the smoke had formed as they all saw a silhouette inside of the black smoke walking out of it. Until finally, Laude's figure surfaced in everyone's view.

Seeing the other party, those who were around thought that they were just dreaming. They frenziedly rubbed their eyes to check if they see it wrong but their sight didn't betray them. They really see it right!

Laude was now drenched in blood. His blood made his face red and found the other party had a missing arm. Just what the heck was this sight? Was he really Laude Jabat, the guild master of the top two strongest guild?

"L-l-lo-lo... A-are you... Okay?" Both Jasper and Jim couldn't help but ask. But they were reluctant to do so making their voice stuttered.

"Stupid kids, just because you made a scratch on me, you're belittling me now?" Laude was not happy as he spoke coldly.

"Scratch? But..." The two brothers didn't know what to say. For the first time in their life, they'd just seen their grandfather in such a state. A bloodied face with an arm went missing, could anyone even call it a scratch? Their grandfather must be out of his mind!

But what made them astonish, especially Jasper, was that they were the ones who caused it! Was he really that strong? No, Jasper knew well that this was the doings of his big brother. He could only shift his gaze to his big brother with admiration.

On the other hand, seeing the reactions of his grandsons, Laude was a bit confused before he found out his current condition.

He'd just recalled that he'd just cut off his arm and noticed that his face was now drenched in blood. No wonder why his grandsons were worrying about him!

But what else could he do? It was for his survival!

When he grabbed the red bird with his hand, the bird actually turned into blood and was actually absorbing his blood nonstop. He could even feel that if he didn't do anything, his blood would be sucked dry! What an incredible sucking ability! Laude was really astonished.

He tried to remove it with his World Energy but the blood was too sticky and had as if became one with his palm. He was still thinking about what to do when suddenly, the attack of his grandson Jasper finally landed on him making him deal with another problem. Because in that short moment, the other party was just absorbing his blood as he felt like his Life Energy was draining fast!

Usually, it wouldn't affect him no matter how strong the attack of his grandson Jasper, but now, the other party caused him to crash on the ground?! That was something he would never expect. This grandson Jim of him really was a monster!

So at that time, Laude was just about to attack his grandson Jasper to send him away when the other party had immediately backed off. Knowing that the absorption of his blood was halted, Laude heaved a sigh of relief. He then cut off his arm for he felt that his blood was still being absorbed by the blood of the bird that was stuck on his palm. Just what kind of creature was that? No, Laude guessed that it wasn't a creature but a skill.

Because although he could see life from that bird, he could still tell that it didn't have a soul and was purely made of blood. And considering the ability of his grandson to control blood, Laude assumed that it was a skill cast by the other party, a High Rank skill!

Just who taught him this skill? Or was that even being taught? No matter what, Laude put his guard on against that skill or creature.

So then, Laude wanted to see his grandson already. He forgot to tidy up himself first as he hurriedly stood up from the ground and walked to see his grandson Jim.

That being said, his bloodied state and cut arm was revealed in the eyes of everyone around. It really was shameful for him!

Nonetheless, it didn't change the fact that his grandson Jim caused him a considerable amount of damage. Laude could only narrow his eyes towards Jim as he muttered inwardly, "What a fierce ability!"
