"You want us to fight you?"

The two brothers spoke as they tried their hardest to believe that they heard it wrong.

Their grandfather just wanted them to fight him? Was he mad? Was he here to bully them? Their grandfather must be joking!

Even in a million chance, even if they combined tens of them, it could only be a dream to defeat their grandfather. And it might as well that even in their dreams and wildest imaginations, they found that they have no way of defeating the other party.

Even Chad who was watching from the side found it hard to believe what he just heard. What was this person thinking to dare fight a couple of kids? Chad frowned as he tried his hardest to uncover the other party's purpose.

"Yes, fight me. The both of you." Laude spoke seriously.

"But..." Both Jim and Jasper wanted to cry.

"What? You don't want to?" Laude frowned as his cold voice echoed.

"No! We will fight, we will fight!" The brothers replied frantically. They were afraid that they would suffer even more if they refused what the other party had asked.

Laude nodded in satisfaction as he said, "Don't worry, I'm just telling you to fight me with all of your strength. I never said that you should defeat me."

Upon hearing it, the two brothers as well as Chad, nodded in realization as they saw through the meaning behind his words. It appeared that Laude wanted to see the capability of his grandsons especially the one who was chosen by one of the Four Greatest Hunters, Jim Jabat!

Jasper only wanted to fight his big brother to execute his all-out strength, but since their grandfather was insisting on a fight, he should just vent all of his agitations to his grandfather. After all, he knew that even if he went all out, he had no way of harming the other party.

Jim on the other hand was now itching to fight. He had finally found someone to spar with which he could put his all-out strength. Since the other party had already known about him being chosen by The Life, one of the Four Greatest Hunters, there was no harm revealing all the cards under his sleeves.

Besides, the other party was his grandfather, and there was no way that the other party would go so far as to reveal to the world his trump cards and current condition.

That being said, Jim didn't intend to hold back even for a little. Together with all of his Blood Warriors and Blood Minions, they would all show their might!

On the other hand, everyone around felt the excited aura exuding out from Jim. They could even see him grinning.

Laude was a bit surprised before he grinned as well. "This brat is really thinking to go all out against me? And he's even excited about it?" Laude could only mutter those words inwardly.

On the other hand, Jasper felt like there was no more reason for him to fight anymore. It was obvious that he was just a salimpusa[1].

Nevertheless, he still held a grasp of his plan and intended to go all out. After all, he didn't want his grandfather to be disappointed in him.

That being said, Jasper didn't wait for their grandfather to start the duel as he commanded, "Nymph, Salamander, and Gnome! Let's do the Possession!"

This time, Sylph was excepted for the Possession. After all, Jasper wanted his Gnome and Salamander to vent their anger as well together with him.

The three Spirits of Jasper had immediately surrounded their master in a triangular form with Nymph in front. World Energy then gathered to Jasper at an incredibly fast rate as shockwaves were coming out from him trying to push away those who were around.

After a full minute, the Possession process had finally completed. Jasper had his eyes all white and three energies, Earth, Fire, and Water, were all could be found in him, boiling.

Laude's satisfaction could be seen from his smile. This kid really had improved!

"Wait!"

However, Jasper was just going to make a move against his grandfather when suddenly, he heard a voice from his side. It was his big brother!

Jasper turned his gaze to his big brother and saw the other party had a blood-red fist-size ball of something, floating just a little above the other party's palm. Upon seeing it, Jasper had widened his eyes for he could feel the incredible amount of Life Energy coming from that ball.

"Accept this first." Jim spoke as he let the ball of his blood float in Jasper's direction.

He knew the weakness of the other party. And that was his body was getting injured from time to time in that state. That being said, instead of using Nymph's power for attacking, Jasper was continuously using her power for healing himself.

But if the problem could be solved with his ball of blood, Jim guessed that Jasper's attacking prowess could be enhanced even more.

Jasper then smiled as he happily accepted the ball of blood coming at him. It then floated to his chest and entered his body. The moment it entered, Jasper felt that the Life Energy from the ball was fusing with him. At that moment, Jasper found that even without the help of Nymph, his body wouldn't be injured in his current state anymore.

Jasper was excited. If he knew that his big brother could do something like that, he should have excepted Nymph from the Possession rather than Sylph who was more inclined in the offensive. After all, he could tell that their grandfather would only be on the defensive so there was no much need to put on his defense.

But there was no point in regretting now. What was done was already done. With that said, Jasper started his move.

"Sylph! Wind's Blessing's!" Jasper commanded. Before he started his attack, he planned to have a Wind's Blessing first to increase his combat prowess.

Sylph knew the intent of her master so she immediately raised her little hands to her master as she cast the skill: Wind's Blessings right away.

With that, Jasper felt that he was one with the wind now. Satisfied, he finally started his move and vanished right away. He'd just become invisible!

Laude on the other hand wanted to laugh. Was his grandson thinking that he would not be able to detect him with that? It was only a puny trick used by a kid to another kid!

Nevertheless, Laude didn't mock the other party. The other party was still a kid after all. He was still lacking so much in fighting experience.

Laude then raised his right hand, and with a little wave of his fist above his shoulder, a heavy thud sounded in the air followed by something rolling furiously on the ground.

It was obvious to say that the invisible Jasper was just sent flying!

Chad who saw this, gulped a mouthful of saliva as he just saw his beloved nephew being beaten up one-sidedly. He wanted to help his nephew to get up from the ground, but he didn't want to hurt his nephew's pride. His nephew might think that he was belittling him.

Helpless, Chad could only hold his feelings as he closed his eyes, and as he tried to wipe away the tears that managed to escape from the edge of his eyes.

On the other hand, Jim swallowed a mouthful of saliva as well. He just saw his younger brother being sent flying with just one move. No, it might only be a half move. Or it could even be one-tenth of a move. Just how huge was the disparity of strength between them and their grandfather?

Swoosh!

Just as Jim was astonished by their grandfather's incredible strength, he heard something approaching his grandfather from above. No, it was someone, it was Jasper! He was falling from above, burning!

It was fortunate that he had his Nymph in the Possession. He had minimized the damage he received earlier and managed to heal that damage right away.

Jasper just realized that nothing would change even if he was invisible or not. That being said, he used the Wind's Blessing to enhance his speed entirely. He then flew high above to start his next move.

That being said, with Salamander's power, he was now covered in fire. And with Gnome's, his body had toughened to an extent and became extremely heavy.

As if a comet was falling from the sky, Jasper put everything onto this attack.

"Heavy Fire!"

He might not be able to hurt his grandfather, but at least, he gave his all.
