Chapter 85: Learning The Truth

Jasper, who had just learned that his mother was not just looking for him but to his big brother as well, felt bewildered for a moment. But later on, he realized what was going on.

His big brother must be stubbornly strolling around the forest again and their mother was probably searching for him for good beatings. That was probably the case!

But this is strange...

Jasper felt another doubt entering his heart. If their mother was looking for his big brother, then why would the other party appear here?

But by taking a clearer look onto it now, Jasper noticed his big brother lying on the ground as their grandfather was standing majestically in front of him. Jasper could guess that they just found his big brother somewhere else and was currently undergoing a good beating.

Jasper nodded slightly in realization as he felt that his conjectures must not be wrong. He then watched his mother going in the direction of his uncle Chad as he also followed behind her.

Meanwhile, seeing her younger brother in such a state, Charley didn't just watch stupidly and stand from the side. She opened the book with her as she cast a healing skill right away.

"Tito Chad got beaten up by that gorilla." Seeing his mother doing a healing, Jasper spoke from the side as he informed his mother about the situation. He clearly pointed out the gorilla guarded by the griffin as he was hoping for his mother to avenge them.

That gorilla really was strong. Jasper could tell it. It wasn't just a coincidence that the other party managed to escape from his uncle's illusion. It was definitely concerning the other party's skill and ability.

"Oh?" Charley however, let out an indifferent look as she added, "Your Tito must have been careless."

"No, that beast was certainly strong." Jasper refuted. "Aren't you going to avenge us? Are you just going to let it slide just like that?"

Jasper also suffered from the gorilla. Though he suffered less compared to his uncle Chad, it was still a suffering. He still remembered clearly how the other party suddenly barged into his fight against the Evolving White Wolf, leaving him powerless.

Thinking about it now, Jasper seemed to remember something as he added, "Besides, there was an Evolving White Wolf there! That gorilla and that wolf had one master. Aren't you curious about who was behind them?"

Jasper knew full well that even his mother would definitely be moved by such a beast. It was, after all, an Evolving White Wolf! If his mother learned about it, she might help him snatch away the wolf from its current master!

Charley on the other hand, only shook her head slowly before she sighed deeply but didn't say anything. And also, she could see her younger brother Chad, slowly regaining his consciousness as his injuries were now all gone.

Jasper was slightly taken aback by the action of his mom. There was no way that his mother would not be moved by such a beast! So how could it be?

Unless...

Jasper organized his thought as he asked his mother, "Do you perhaps know who is the master of this wolf and gorilla?"

Charley shifted her gaze to Jasper who was now beside her as she responded, "Yes."

"Who?" Jasper asked. It was still within his expectation that his mother might know about it.

Charley wasn't sure how to respond. Should she really tell the matter right now? But knowing that there was no way of hiding it as well, she decided to tell her son.

Besides, even if her son Jasper learned everything about Jim... Charley could only sigh deeply about the reason.

However, she was just about to say anything when her younger brother spoke from the side while trying to get up, "Ate Charley? Why are you here?"

"Stupid! I'd just save your pitiful life!"

"Huh? What happe... ugh!" Chad was still confused when suddenly, he seemed to remember something as his head started to hurt.

"Are you ok Tito?" Jasper asked worriedly from the side. If not for him, his uncle would not fall into such a state.

"Five dots," Chad said.

Jasper was rather bewildered. Five dots? What five dots? Did his uncle finally lose his head?

Seeing the frown on his nephew's face, Chad laughed bitterly. He then shifted his gaze to Charley instead as he asked, "Are the wolf and the gorilla your tamed beast?"

"What?!" Charley was still yet to say anything when Jasper had already responded in shock.

No wonder his mother felt indifferent when she heard about the wolf. It appeared that the wolf was already her tamed beast!

From Jasper's reaction, he already assumed that the wolf and gorilla were her tamed beasts!

If that was the case, then what were they doing? Why was he desperately trying to catch the tamed beast of his own mother?

At that moment, Jasper finally realized how stupid he had become. He was even hoping for his mother to avenge them. But to avenge them to her own tamed beast? Even Jasper felt that it wasn't right. After all, he was the one who had made the first move to try catching the wolf.

But all his wild thoughts suddenly shattered when he heard his mother's reply, saying, "No."

Not only Jasper, with that one word of his mother, even his uncle felt really confused.

Chad obviously had seen the five dots on that eye from before. That gaze, that unfathomable power from that eye of which even he himself was helpless against, that was something only his elder sister could possibly display.

Only his elder sister was currently in the area who had the five dots. And he was more than sure that the owner of that eye was the master of the beast gorilla he'd face before.

But just a few moments later, Chad had widened his eyes in realization and disbelief. "No way right?"

Incredulity! Even in the thousand chance, Chad would never think of something like 'that' to happen. It was just simply impossible!

But his disbelief didn't betray him when he heard the other party confirming it while saying, "You guessed it right."

Chad gulped a mouthful of saliva as cold sweats started to appear on his forehead. How was that possible? This was the only question he wanted to be answered now.

"What's going on? What are you all talking about?" This time, Jasper, who was ignored from the side, spoke in confusion. He could tell that from the tone of his uncle's voice, the other party had already realized who was the master of the wolf and gorilla.

It was just that, the other party wasn't saying anything at all. And this made him a bit annoyed. He as well wanted to know who was that person, why was his uncle acting so secretive?!

Sigh.

Charley sighed then again as she organized his thought before she said, "It's your Kuya's tamed beast."

"Huh?" Jasper wasn't sure if he heard it right. And if he heard it right, the world must be mad.

"The wolf and gorilla is your Kuya Jim's tamed beast." Charley responded patiently as she made it clear to her son.

"You're joking right?" Jasper didn't want to believe in it at all. There was no way in the world that his big brother, a Hunter who wasn't even official, could tame such a beast!

Seeing his nephew being like that, Chad sighed deeply as he spoke, "It's the truth."

Putting aside her elder sister, there was only one other person in the area who could have the five dots. And that was her beloved son, Jim Jabat!

Because of his elder sister's love for her son, she gave up one of her eyes, the most precious thing she had, just to make her son see a bit ray of hope to get stronger.

The sacrifice she made, made their whole family furious, criticizing his elder sister Charley for being so weak and soft-hearted. They were even blaming Charley for marrying a useless husband who kept venturing the world and leaving her all alone. If Charley didn't just marry anyone, she would definitely not fall so low to even give up her own eye.

As a result, the family decided to banish Charley from the family. She was not allowed to ask for help or come back to the family until they see the result of her stupid sacrifice. If they found it a complete waste, they would never accept Charley ever again. But if they see it as not, then they would give Charley a chance and forgive her.

Chad was of course not happy with what had happened to his elder sister. But he was also powerless to be of any help. After all, it was the decision made by their family. Charley's banishment served as a warning for the other members of the family that even if you were blessed and talented, as long as you did stupid thought, there was no exception for banishment.

Their family cared a lot for reputations. If they see someone in them who was tainting their reputation, they would never hesitate to remove that trash.
