When I'm With You

Asher POV:

I guess the most reasonable thing to do is to either dodge of go straight for a blow. I needed time to decide, but there wasn't. Luke was already getting too close for comfort. I decide to dodge, so right when he was going to punch me I quickly slid to the left and he missed.

Now was my chance to strike. I turned my hand into a fist and I just swung like there was nothing holding me back.

Bam!!!!!

A successful strike sent Luke unconscious. I couldn't believe that I actually did that... I'm not even that strong. These boys really don't seem that scary anymore.

I suddenly remember that there was still one more guy left, and he was after Hans. I sprint to the direction I remember seeing them run off and hoped that they didn't go too far from here.

Hans POV:

I can't.... Keep on running... I'm gonna run out.... Of stamina...

I stopped running to catch my breath. Running seemed to have done nothing because Deric was right behind me.

"Thought you'd be able to run away? I'm on the boys track team. No one can out run me." Deric ran up to me and grabbed me by the neck. He started to choke me.

I couldn't breath I was going to die right here..... Without telling Asher...

Asher POV:

I rammed into the boy that was choking Hans, and we ended up on the ground rolling around. I was on top of him punching and punching him, but it wasn't doing anything.

"Get off!!" The boy elbowed my face and my lip began bleeding. He then grabbed me and rolled me off of him.

"Agh!!! My lip!!!!!" I start to cry in pain as my hands get stained with blood from touching my lip.

"I don't know what your deal is, but don't think you're safe either!" The boy ran off.

Hans got up the ground, violently coughing. I saw him trying to run fast to me but he just fell on the ground and he started to crawl. I couldn't talk... My lip was hurting so bad.

"Oh god.... Asher are you alright?!" Hans reached me and he removed my hands from my face and he saw the blood and tears smudged all over me.

But then Hans froze... Everything froze... I didn't know what was happening.

"Asherrrrrrr... Oh how did you get into this mess...? hehehe." It was the same snicker as last time. The girl... She was here again.

"You still haven't figured it out yet... Sigh.... Here let me fix the both of you up. The girl tapped me and Hans, then both of our injuries healed.

"My name is Annabelle, and I will give you this other artifact as another hint... But! You have to give up something for it..." The girl pulled out another artifact.

"Give up something like what...?" I asked.

"A piece of you."

Everything was silent for a while.

"What do you mean a piece of me...?" I could never understand this girl...

"I don't know. I only know that it would just be a random part of you... Maybe your memories..." The girl started to grin.

I decided to accept her offer and said yes...

"Ooohehehehehe... Here you go." Annabelle tossed the artifact to me.

"Bye bye!" She disappeared with another snap, and everything went back to normal.

I had a feeling that I lost something.... Something very important to me...
