While his mother was reprimanding him for being a careless boy. Kritos glances at his father for help.

They thought that he recklessly tries to form a qi ball in the room. As many young cultivators when made the first breakthrough, they often try to test their strength by forming an uncontrolled qi ball.

Forming a qi ball is the basic proof that a mortal started the cultivation journey. However, before any guidance, if someone tried to form it and made a mistake then there would be a chance that a huge explosion happens which drains all the qi energy from the cultivator's body. It can even lead to a fatal injury in the dantian.

Nevertheless, Kritos parents thought the explosion happened due to his recklessness.

Unexpectedly in the midst of his mom's lecture, they heard the voices of patrolling guards. They had gathered outside Kritos house after hearing the explosion.

"Huh! City guards, they must have heard the explosion." Kant mumbles.

Radha glare at Kritos for a second then delightfully said,'' Kritos go wash your smelly body. We will handle them.``

In response, Kritos just nodded his head.

"They saved me," Kritos murmurs

He quickly ran away from the window of his room after his parents left him. 

He decided to wash his body on the water hill beside a small mountain. On the way to his destination, Kritos activated the shadow form.

After 15 minutes, he finally reaches the cliff where he can see the waterfall.

Kritos leaped up from the ground. He could clearly see and feel his surroundings. He knew everything that occurred within a 5-foot radius, every rustle of the leaves and every squirm of a worm was heard loud and clear.

He could count the number of leaves that had dropped in front of him with a glance. There were thirty-two leaves!

With a clear awareness and a sharp mind, many cultivators had an eidetic memory. This was a result of their meridians opening up resulting in an improvement of their brain's capabilities!

After all, the conception and governor vessels cycle through the brain. With energy passing through the brain, it improves a person's memory and reactions.

"It feels awesome. So awesome!" Having undergone a body transformation, Kritos was extremely delighted. He had perfectly broken through into the first rank of the Apprentice realm. Not only that, he had experienced a much increase in strength compared to anyone.

Mortals eat all sorts of grains causing their bodies to be filled with impurities. Before the beginning of their cultivation journey, it was a necessity to undergo a round of marrow cleansing.

The more thorough a marrow cleansing was, the better it was. 

Kritos quickly undressed himself and jumped into the plunge basin for a bath. He dived dozens of meters deep and held his breath underwater for about ten minutes before swimming back up.

"Puah!" Kritos emerged out of the water like a giant carp, creating an explosion of water droplets!

He was buck-naked. Without any change of clothes, Kritos wore his old damp clothes.

This set of clothes was soaked with water. It stuck to Kritos's body, clearly outlining the firm curves of his body.

After days of arduous practice and with the evolution of his body, Kritos's muscles had grown firmer, and his body shape was getting better by the day. He had also grown taller, becoming a handsome young lad.

Kritos gave off a brand new aura after breaking into the Apprentice realm. He stood on a large rock, with his body like a sheathed sword. He had an overpowering presence. Under the soft sunlight, it illuminated Kritos's delicate skin, making it shimmer like mercury.

Such a young youth no longer looked like a chubby kid who had nothing to do except eating. 

He was like a diamond in the rough but had already shown the inkling of his beautiful luster. The clothes he wore could only be described as "rags", but it could not conceal his shimmering aura.

Having broken into the Apprentice realm, the world seemed different to Kritos.

The qi was like the air; it would enter his body with each breath and be exhausted from his pores. This subtly changed his physique

Normal people ate grains, but a cultivator could use the Qi and other energy as their energy source. Upon reaching a certain level, they could avoid eating grains completely.

Of course, Kritos was still far from the state of avoiding grains. He felt that even if he had reached the state where he could avoid grains, he felt that he would never succumb to that state.

At his village, Kritos was a glutton, erm...that lacks sophistication. It should be said that Kritos was a food connoisseur — yes, a food connoisseur. The former was a symbol of laziness and gluttony, while the latter was for someone who could enjoy the beauties of life.

In the afternoon, he realized that the city was extremely lively when he returned.

In the midst of the crowd, there was a massive object about the size of a hill.

Kritos focused on it and was surprised. That small hill like object was a huge beast!

Kritos was stunned, how could such a huge beast appear in the Rewa city? Looking at the head of the beast, it was absolutely mighty. One such beast could easily level the entire Dwivedi clan!

But with so many people crowding around it, the huge beast clearly was not on the offensive, cohabiting with the people in that small space peacefully.

And on the back of that monster was a man, who had a sword slung on his back. That looks majestic.

Kritos suddenly understood that someone important had arrived in the Rewa city. This huge beast was the VIP's mount!

How could Kritos miss such an important matter? He flew quickly towards the square.

In route, Kritos saw the people celebrating as if it were the new year.

Kritos also listened to the conversations. These conversations made his heart race.

The owner of the huge beast was a captain of the Elite Royal forces.

The Elite Royal forces were the elite military division of the Star Kingdom. The levels of the leading members were above the Foundation realm!

With the basic units composed of foundation realm warriors and mages, the Elite Royal force's battle prowess was unbeatable!

For such a person who came to the vast wilderness, even the Clan head of a large clan with a thousand-strong population would have to bow respectfully.

To any clan of Rewa city, such status was terrifying.

As Kritos was in deep thought, someone caught his glance.

Ever since breaking into the Apprentice Realm and evolving into a High human, his five senses were extremely keen. He spotted Sanju who was looking around while tip-toeing among the tumultuous masses.

"Big brother Sanju!" Kritos let out a cry, but there was a hint of anger in his voice.

"Kritos!" Having seen Kritos, Sanju was pleased. "Oh, Kritos you… "

He felt that a difference in Kritos today was different.

Sanju suddenly recalled this phrase. Every good sword was hidden within a sheath, waiting for the day it would be unsheathed.

The present Kritos gave Sanju such a feeling.

However, only Sanju could feel that difference because he was extremely familiar with his brother from their constant interaction. For people not familiar with Kritos, they would only find something different about him before brushing it off. 

After all, Kritos was a kid who was good for nothing. He can't cultivate and even doesn't have a talent. Moreover, many people in Rewa city think that Kritos was an abnormal boy who doesn't have a soul beast. 

Nonetheless, almost all of them already forget a legend about the late one. 

"Elder brother, I'm fine," Kritos laughed. He knew that his aura had changed after breaking through into the Apprentice realm. "Tell me what's going on."

Sanju moved his head towards the captain and then said," He is captain Mitchell of the Red star division of Elite royal force. I have heard from the father that someone very important is staying in the Augusta clan and for the protection of her, I think captain Mitchell arrived in the Rewa city."

"Furthermore, after two days at Clara's birthday celebration, we'll get the chance to see her and you know, there is a rumor spreading that the important guest will be the judge in this year's Challenger league." 

"Ohh,"

"Then why is he in the center of the square, Is he asking for the Augusta clan address?" Kritos lightly chuckled

"Can't you see he is a Core realm warrior, he can easily sense the direction of Augusta Clan Maybe he comes here to announce something," Sanju said.

While both of talking, the man beside captain Mitchell again announced the letter which carries the words of captain Mitchell," My name is Mitchell Broad. Remember well. My visit here to the center of the square of Rewa city is to inform that Star kingdom has given a chance to every youth of Rewa city to participate and show your strength in the Challenger league."

"Our miss will award the winner and runner up a chance to attend the Star Academy as a student."
