Kritos smirks as he thought about his today's feats; they had killed many rank zero monsters and even a pseudo rank one monster. Besides, Kritos reaped a Spiritual crystal.

The spiritual fire core begins deforming as its impure essence assimilated into the Kritos body.

With a sudden sound, the fire crystal ore shattered into many negligible fractions and fluttered in the air with the surrounding particles.

The instant manifestation of shattered crystal looks marvelous with the naked eye, like a crystalline fire shifting into the invisible container.

Kritos' elegant smile after obtaining an extra 50 SP; with the addition of this, Kritos gained a total of 71 SP today.

However, Kritos noticed an issue where his bow proficiency stops increasing at 99%. 

"Sighs! It seems like I can't advance into a higher comprehension of any weapon proficiency without first increasing my cultivation."

Without the presence of the soul beast, it becomes impossible to advance into the further realm. Kritos sighed as he wanted to know more about archery.

Suddenly, a thought interprets into his mind, "Why is there a restriction? Why can't I further grasp the understanding of archery without increasing my cultivation? 

More and more thought drifted into his consciousness, asking him why he is just limited to the system? Can't he learn a skill on his own by practicing?

Kritos mind has become a bottomless pit; more and more doubts keep sinking into his small brain. 

Kritos heard about the legend of the saint realm cultivator and archmage realm mage who had the ability or spell to transfer a skill from their consciousness to another person. The particular person would be able to memorize the particular skill instantly. But even then, the person required some months of practice to execute the skill correctly.

Even after thinking deeply, Kritos never heard an ability that lets a person comprehend a skill immediately without practicing much. But his system can effortlessly do it.

After calming his restless mind, Kritos concludes that the system is a much greater cheat than a so-called Saint or Supreme mage. Not powerful but greater than them.

Nevertheless, Kritos don't want to be limited by the system. He yearns for more power and strength. 

"Let's proceed with the regular archery training in the morning and see what will happen."

Kritos slowly begins to close his eyes as fatigue overcomes his body. But unexpectedly, Kritos remembers something; he excitedly opens the mission tag from the status screen.

"Here it is; I have to talk about this with the elder brother and discuss the reason behind the mass mutation." Kritos thought

After that, his gaze focuses on the 1st mission, which is related to the elder brother; Kritos looked at the system storage function where a magical fruit is silently lying. 

A wide smile appeared on his complexion, "Now, I just have to prepare a story about how I obtain it, and then my first mission will start prospering." Kritos mumbled in tiredness 

"Ahha!"

Kritos exhausted body response in its defense and impulsively, his eyes closed in search of peaceful darkness.

As time passed away, the moon enchanting the night sets, and the sun rose in its place.

The light of the sun scattered and filtered through the atmosphere of the Star kingdom. The skies brightened up, telling everyone that the new morning has begun and it's time to hunt.

The rays of light sprinkled in the face of the black-haired boy. Kritos was in a heavy sleep, forgetting about the night watch turn, and the direct sunlight on his eyes was more than enough to wake him out of his slumber. He groaned due to the annoyance that smacks his face and again tried to make his way towards the peaceful darkness.

As a mortal, it was hard to follow the infrequent routine compared to the cultivator who has enormous energy stored in their bodies. Due to the constant hunt and unsatisfied yesterday night, Kritos was tired enough to forget about anything.

But before drifting again in darkness, Kritos decided to sort out the disturbance which keeps attacking him with the bright light even though his eyes are closed. Hence, he opened his eyes to locate the foe.

His close eyes slowly opened up. Since Kritos was in a deep sleep before, as sunlight slipped in his pupils, Kritos frowned in slight pain.

The little pain was more than enough to get his brain working. Kritos glanced at the half-open tent front and realized the sun was up.

It's morning already!

"Shit! I forgot about my turn." Kritos frustratedly murmur

Fully opening the tent front, Kritos walked out from there and saw Sanju warming his hands through the fire pit.

Due to the sudden disturbance, Sanju glanced at his woken brother. 

" Kritos, so you have awake, come here, warm your body with fire."

Kritos nodded and ambled his way towards the fire pit. He nervously stares at his elder brother, finding a way to apologize to him.

"Brother, sorry..-"

But before Kritos complete his statement, Sanju interrupted and solemnly said 

"Hey, what happens! Why are you nervous?... Without proper sleep, no mortal can adequately work. Sleep is the golden chain that ties the body and mind together." 

Hearing the warm words of his cousin, Kritos felt a huge urge to hug his elder brother. But Kritos maintained his position and thought about the precious sacrifice his elder brother had done.
