Supreme Human System

Chapter 38: Ancient warrior and mage

After a few hours, The first rays of sunlight lit up the small tent, and the dawn chorus of melodic birdsong drifted in.

Kritos rubbed his bleary eyes and slowly aroused from his sleep and thought about the vision he sees in his dream

"Why am I unable to recollect the dream? I can barely remember it was related to an arrow. A formidable arrow!"

Kritos knew his continuous dream was not just a dream. It started when he was eight years old. Kritos that time, was just a normal child who wanted to help his parents by taking some burden. However, with time, Kritos felt that he is special due to the extraordinary vision he saw in his dreams.

Like the main character in the fairy tales.

A lost prince!

A messiah!

With each passing year, Kritos' self-centered emotions continued; at last, he became someone conceited and lazy but had a fantasy to rule the world.

Like a crown prince who knows one day, he would surely become a king.

Even now, Kritos feels that he is a special snowflake. Nevertheless, a unique snowflake who can't even protect his young brother.

After the arrival of the system, Kritos once stopped megalomaniac disorder again started influencing him. But he never expresses it in front of anyone.

( Megalomaniac - an unnaturally strong wish for power and control, or the belief that you are very much more important and powerful than you really are )

Kritos shook his head and stepped out of the tent

"Good morning, elder brother." Kritos smiled as he approached Sanju

Sanju who was meditating opened his sights and saw Kritos making his way toward him.

"Good Morning, brother. Let's take breakfast before jumping to your hunting training."

Kritos nodded his head and sit beside the fireplace

**

Both Kritos and Sanju hunted many monsters and mutated monsters at the end of the day. Kritos only utilized one arrow skill in the hunt, he didn't bother to execute his double arrow archery skill as this skill is only operated by the high-level archers. However, even after that, Sanju was shocked after discerning that his brother can rapidly rotate the arrow, moreover, his aim was pretty adequate.

Finally, while walking towards their resting place, Sanju asked," Kritos, from where you had learned archery? You know that in our city, except for the archery troop Captain, no one can rapidly axially rotate an arrow."

Kritos dazed for a moment and awkwardly replied," Elder brother, I guess I am an Archery genius. From a small age, I secretly practiced with the bow in the village. Even the father and mother don't know about it."

Kritos tries to genuinely convey his brother through his straight lies.

Sanju glared at Kritos for a second, "I don't know you have that much passion for archery in your younger days."

Kritos just smiled and continued walking

Deep down in his thoughts, Sanju recalls the event of the previous awakening ceremony when Kritos was just turned 15 years old. Sanju sighs and looks at Kritos," It's a pity that God doesn't show any sympathy towards a mortal. Who would have imagined that a talentless boy like him would have an understanding of archery beyond his age?"

Sanju was amazed but not much shocked. He heard about many geniuses who break the rule of normalities and achieve a stage where no one thought that it is possible.

The ten miracles of the capital are the example of the genius paradox. All ten have the bloodlines of an ancient creature, but for the ordinary people, the power of the bloodline is just an ability or a skill. They don't know much about the bloodlines and think that they achieve this stage simply by their hard work and talent.

Bloodlines are a way to define someone's potential, all humans have a bloodline in their blood from birth. Normally, known as the human bloodline. Regardless, some humans have ancient creature bloodlines mixed with the human lineage. This type of warriors and mages are known as the ancient warrior and ancient mage.

From the old times, humans tended towards the power of the superior bloodline. Rejecting their human origins.

Nobody desires to cultivate with a trash bloodline if you have an option to obtain superior bloodlines.

The ancient creatures are more than happy to bestow their one drop of blood for eternal loyalty in ancient times.

Some obtain unique bloodlines by pure luck and some by worshiping.

The human bloodline is the sole lineage in the universe that can be mixed with any bloodline. That's the reason any low fertility race prefers to bestow their bloodlines to the human race. This way, they can give rise to a massive number of loyal servants.

All this happened in ancient times, 1 million years ago. In present times, most of the superior race moved out of the Sincromas world in search of more powers.

But before they transmigrated, the human race had already attained peak 2 tier civilization from their initial peak zero tier.

Nowadays, every human has forgotten about their human bloodline.

Finally, after walking for minutes, Kritos and Sanju reached their resting place, later they filled their stomach and planned to rest according to their turns.

Kritos laid down in the tent and turned on the notification tag, which he had turned off during the hunting duration.

Of a sudden, many system prompts popped up in front of his eyes.
