The young girl immediately took a piece of paper from under the table and placed it on the table.

"Sir, here, you have to fill your details on it," She gently passed the paper towards Kritos.

Kritos took a glance at the paper and examined it.

There were some rules written on it to avoid fraud. Kritos have just to fill his name on it and some other details related to him.

Kritos grabs the quill pen from the table and begins writing his details on the paper.

He thought for a bit at the name section, and then he chose to use a fake name.

Vishwa Martis is an abnormal entity, and it would be terrible if he finds Kritos before Kritos has enough strength to defeat him.

"Rio Rathore!"

He decided to use his brother's name as his new identity in the outside world.

After completely filling the form, Kritos returns the paper to the young girl.

The ponytail girl gazes at the form for a second, and then again, a smile emerges on her face.

"Thank You, Sir Rio, for choosing our lodge. Your room is on the 1st floor, and the address is 8B."

Kritos nodded his head and took out some silver coins from his pocket, and gave her.

It was advance money for renting a room in the lodge. It works as security money.

"What is on today's menu? " Kritos suddenly asked.

"Sir, it is baked rice with trill vegetables!" The young girl sweetly replied.

"Nice, can I have some in my room?" 

"Yes, sir, just wait for a few minutes." 

Kritos nodded his head and then strode towards the stair, a few meters away from him.

After a bit, he found his room. It was pretty decant as compared to his expectations.

This lodge is relatively older than Steel Blood Lodge, and the furniture is a bit rusty.

Nonetheless, it is acceptable for Kritos. 

The room was already clean, so Kritos doesn't have to worry about it.

As he notices the bed, Kritos immediately jumps on it. For almost three-night, he was sleeping in the open.

"It is a bit tragic that the girl was born with a rare paralysis disease!" Kritos murmurs upon thinking about the young girl's body condition.

To avoid danger, it becomes a habit of Kritos to always check the status of every unknown person he meets. 

Hence, he uses the Greater Inspection Skill on the young girl. The result was quite erratic.

He couldn't discern the Rank of the Twin Ice Devil, but by just looking at the name, Kritos could sense that it must be a high-ranking Soul beast.

Kritos never heard about the disease name, Jiramin. Regardless of it, it is a fatal disease that paralyzes both legs of a person from birth.

Moreover, by looking at her condition, Kritos could infer that it is difficult to recover from that disease.

"Thank you, mam… are you the owner of this lodge, the daughter of Steel Blood lodge owner?" Kritos inquired after taking the meal container.

"Yes, young sir, I'm the owner of Steel Blood Return. If you need anything or have any problem with your room, you can contact my daughter...ah! you have already met her in the counter area!" The woman politely replied.

Kritos nodded his head in understanding.

After bowing her head, the middle-aged woman soon departed from the door, and Kritos was again left alone in his new room, but this time, he was with a meal.

Shortly, he started to rapidly devour the meal. He was eating like a crazy person who never ate a single food in his life.

"The rice was good!" Kritos murmurs, and suddenly, burp releases from his mouth, telling him that the meal was delicious.

Afterward, Kritos decided to sleep. Because of the excess meal combined with his exhausted body. 

Kritos crawls back to his bed and soon closes his eyelids.

He allowed his exhausted body to sink into a deep sleep.

Darkness… Deep Darkness and numerous small rocks were freely floating on it.

Several lustrous flies are orbiting around the image of a person.

"Where I am?"

Kritos's eyes swept across the place he was. 

"Dream?"

Kritos was not extensively confused or amazed. It was not the first time he saw something like this.

Once, or twice a month, he saw a similar dream or a vision of a familiar boy.

Thus, Kritos is always mentally prepared for such an event. Besides, he gets used to it.

"So, what is the menu this time?"

Everything in this dream was chaos. Before his eyes, all he could see was endless darkness, and some small circular stones were freely floating in the darkness.

"This dream again!" Kritos sighed in his sleep.

Kritos was having this dream for quite some time.

It was difficult for Kritos to understand this dream.

Hence, he simply floated around in the chaos of his dream.

Everything in this dream was silent and dark, and his body was like a feather floating in the wind. His body was so light that it could fly everywhere.

Sometimes, he sees a circular stone suddenly exploding. Sometimes, two or three stones collapse with each other.

Every time this happens, he feels sadness deep inside his heart.

He never understood why he felt like this. 

If he had to describe the feeling, it was like some part of him is destroyed, and he is helpless to do anything.

This feeling always told him that he is still too weak, incapable of protecting anyone.

However, over the multiple times, he had gotten used to it.

Now, he just ignores it, as if he doesn't notice anything.

Usually, he would just float and float and float until he woke up when he saw two huge red eyes.

But this time, it was a little bit different. He didn't encounter those huge scary red eyes. 

Due to this, he was endlessly floating in the darkness. 

If Kritos correctly remembers, he always floats for a maximum of 10 seconds before encountering the two massive red eyes.

Currently, if he counts, 30 seconds have already passed.

To know the exact time, Kritos always murmurs the numbers from one when he was in the darkness.

"Hey eyes, where are you? I don't want to float in this endless darkness anymore."

Nevertheless, his words were of no use. 

Kritos floated and floated in his dream. This time, after floating for an unknown length of time, all of a sudden, he thought about using his Greater Inspection ability on these tiny circular stones around him.

He knew that it would not work on his dream, but still, he wanted to give it a try.

Moreover, he wanted to learn why these small stones exploded upon collapsing with each other or why they suddenly exploded in their space.

In Kritos eyes, the speed at which they collapse with each other was not much high.

Kritos suddenly activates his Greater Inspection ability and uses it on a circular stone that is more extensive than other stones.

"What!"

A bewildered expression appears on Kritos's face; however, it doesn't last for a long time.

Kritos suddenly sees those two huge red eyes in the endless darkness. However, this time, there was a mixture of blackness in those red eyes.

Before Kritos could clearly see those eyes, his consciousness again drifted.

Kritos slowly opens his eyelids and moans in pleasure due to the deep sleep. 

"It's morning already…" He fully opened his eyes. The first rays of the morning sun were falling onto his window.

Kritos thought for a bit and then tried to open the System.

"Fu*k! How is a system shutdown in a dream connected to reality?" Kritos annoyingly murmurs.

"It is weird!" Kritos again murmurs upon profoundly thinking about the strange dream.
