Study Days at Hogwarts

Chapter 23: Secret and Filch

Chapter 23 Secret Road and Filch

Having said that, my panel should be a deleted version, it doesn’t have a map function. Albert was still in the mood to tease his panel function, and after finding the Room of Response, he was in a good mood.

No way, in the online novels I read before, the system that comes with the pig's feet is usually awesome. After turning on the scanning function, everything can't be hidden.

Now, if you think about it carefully, the functions of your own panel are really pitiful.

Actually, Albert is very happy to have a gold finger like a panel.

"I remember that the principal's office is also on the eighth floor, but I don't know where it is on the eighth floor." Albert murmured.

Of course, he didn't intend to go to the principal's office. If the old man Dumbledore noticed him, life in school would be difficult in the future.

After all, there are portraits everywhere in Hogwarts Castle, and it is still very easy for Dumbledore to know what a student is doing.

Albert turned two more corners and found a downward staircase.

Going down the stairs, I started wandering around the castle, only to find myself lost.

Well, maybe it's not called getting lost, it's just that he's never been here before.

Albert stopped in front of a wall, the light of the wand flashed across the carvings on the wall, he reached out and tapped lightly on it, it was solid.

However, Albert suspects that there is a secret passage here. There is no way. The griffin carvings on the wall are too suspicious. Usually, there are secret doors and secret passages hidden in such places.

"Son, what are you doing here?" Nick drilled out from the wall next to him, looking at Albert who was inspecting the carvings in surprise.

The sudden sound startled Albert, and he felt like his heart was about to pop out of his chest.

Albert quickly took a few deep breaths, calmed his rapid heartbeat, and couldn't help complaining to Nick: "Don't be so elusive, you will scare people to death."

"Sorry, I didn't expect to scare you." Nick raised his eyebrows and asked again, "What are you doing here?"

"Take a walk." Albert replied honestly.

"Walking, now?" Nick looked at the corridor suspiciously, but it was still very early.

"Yes, take a walk. Sir Nicholas, I wonder if you have time to introduce Hogwarts to me. It's like a maze here. I accidentally got lost while walking." Albert smiled and looked at Nick, if If the other party is willing to help, he can save a lot of time.

"Oh, I think exploring the castle is a great joy for freshmen." Nick politely declined.

"You're right." Albert didn't care about Nick's refusal. After greeting him with a smile, he continued to study the griffin sculpture in front of him.

Nick looked at Albert's back, shook his head and reminded, "If you want to open that door, the switch is on the claw of the griffin."

"Thank you." Albert heard the words and stretched out his hand to the claws of the Griffin, and knocked lightly a few times. The stone door slowly opened, revealing a narrow secret passage inside.

"See you later, Sir Nicholas." Albert nodded slightly to the ghost to express his gratitude, raised his wand and walked into the secret passage.

The inside is very narrow, and only one person can pass through. It is definitely not a good place for people who have a fear of being confined.

Albert can feel that he is going down, and he doesn't know where the secret passage leads to, but being able to discover its existence is considered good news for Albert.

Sure enough, the ghosts and portraits living in the castle knew more about Hogwarts.

The exit was hidden behind a portrait. After the portrait was removed by Albert, the old man in pajamas stared at him unhappily, complaining that Albert disturbed his rest.

"Sorry to bother you!" Albert apologized to the old man in the portrait, and continued walking forward. He felt that he might get lost again.

However, Albert found the moving stairs this time.

No matter how many times he watched it, he still felt that the scene of moving stairs was spectacular.

It is said that Rowena Ravenclaw wrote the moving stairs and the Room of Requirement. I wonder if I can reach this level in the future?

By the way, is Rowena Ravenclaw hiding any secrets in the Room of Requirement?

After all, didn't Slytherins keep a basilisk in their Chamber of Secrets?

It really makes sense when you think about it, next time you go there, you can try it, maybe you can really dig out some secrets.

It took Albert ten minutes to go down the stairs. On the way, he encountered a change in the stairs, so he had to stay in place and wait for the stairs to return to their original shape. Fortunately, he didn't make him wait too long. Thank God, no, Merlin should be thanked now.

As soon as he entered the hall, Albert was attracted by a cat. This cat was a little thin, with dark gray fur, and it was incomparable with his own Tom.

He bent down to shake it, but the cat ran so fast that it disappeared in a flash.

Albert knew that it was probably the administrator Filch's cat, and it was called Madam. Although he has read the book Harry Potter and watched the movie, but after a long time, he can't remember some unimportant things clearly, especially the names of the characters.

If it weren’t for the fact that I have written a fan and checked a lot of information, I guess I would have forgotten it faster.

The cat ran away, probably to call someone, and Albert was not worried that Filch would come to trouble him.

After all, it's already past six o'clock, and the sky has not fully brightened yet, all because it's raining outside.

Just as Albert was about to enter the auditorium, there was a sound of groaning, and the somewhat elderly Filch walked towards this side with an oil lamp.

Albert noticed that Filch was still wearing sleepy clothes, with only a cloak on his body, and there was a happy smile on the corner of his mouth, which was the smile of catching prey.

"Good morning, Mr. Filch." Albert raised his hand to greet the other party, as if meeting a familiar friend.

"Good morning?" Filch stretched out his hand to grab Albert, but he backed away easily.

"Of course, it's already 6:15, Mr. Filch." Albert took out his pocket watch from his pocket, looked at the time, and handed it to Filch and asked, "When does the hall start to serve meals?" Woolen cloth?"

Filch was also taken aback, because Albert deliberately moved his wand to the pocket watch so that he could see the time better.

Filch, who originally thought he had caught the night tour students, suddenly collapsed, like a child who heard that the Halloween party was cancelled.

Actually, it is already morning, although it is still dark, and no other students have woken up yet.

"7 o'clock." Filch turned and left angrily, leaving a sentence before leaving: "It's best not to let me see..."

Albert didn't hear the last few words clearly, and it wasn't important anyway.

But, does Filch really hate students?

This is wishing to arrest them all and put them in confinement.

Push the door and walk into the auditorium. It is very dark here, the suspended candles are all extinguished, and the lively scene last night no longer exists.

Albert turned and left, planning to continue exploring the castle's kitchen now.
