Study Days at Hogwarts

Chapter 22: Room of Requirement

Chapter 22 The Room of Requirement

When Albert woke up, the dormitory was pitch black, and there was a faint sound of rain outside the window. The rain last night has not stopped until now.

Albert sat up from the bed, stretched out his hand to cover a yawn, it was all because of the strange dream last night, and he felt very tired when he woke up.

Moreover, he woke up too early, and the three people in the same dormitory were still asleep.

Albert reached out to touch the head of the bed, picked up the magic wand in the corner, and whispered a spell: "Luminescence flashes."

The front end of the wand exuded a pale light. He moved the glowing wand to the mechanical pocket watch and glanced at the time: 5:40.

Sure enough, it was still too early to wake up.

Albert extinguished the light on his wand and lay back on the bed again, the mechanical pocket watch slipped from his hand and fell on the sheet.

This is a gift Luke bought for himself to celebrate his invitation to Hogwarts.

Now that he woke up, Albert didn't intend to go back to the cage. He leaned up and sat on the bed again, stretched himself, pushed aside the quilt, got off the bed and walked to the window. He opened the wooden bolt, opened the wooden window and looked out of the tower.

A gust of cold wind blew in front of him, Albert couldn't help but shivered, and his head suddenly woke up.

It wasn't raining very hard, it was still pitch black outside, and the whole castle was shrouded in a hazy rain.

"A great adventure." Albert patted his cheek and muttered softly.

After closing the window, Albert returned to the bed, took out the robe from the suitcase and put it on, took the pocket watch and wand beside the bed and stuffed them into his pockets, stopped before he walked out of the dormitory, and threw away the clothes he had just changed In the hamper in the bathroom, the house-elf would magically wash the clothes and put them back on his bed.

Having said that, Hogwarts students are actually doing well. There are many things that students don’t need to worry about. They just need to learn magic with peace of mind.

The common room was very quiet, only a female ghost was sitting on the sofa reading a book. She heard footsteps, raised her head to look at Albert, and continued to look down at her book.

Albert didn't bother Ms. Phantom, although he wanted to chat with her, but finally gave up. He hated being disturbed when he was reading.

Albert didn't stay in the lounge, and planned to wander around the castle before everyone got up, and went to find the legendary Room of Requirement by the way.

Pushing open the door of the lounge, Albert bent over and stepped out of the circular opening. The fat lady was still wearing a pajamas, looking sleepily at the leaving students.

She asked, "Where are you going?"

"Walking." Albert looked into the dim corridor, raised his wand and continued on. This time, he didn't intend to take the road that he came last night, but planned to walk elsewhere.

Perhaps, because of the rain outside, the corridor is cold and damp, much like a spooky castle in a ghost movie, where ghosts may come out of the walls at any time, scaring people half to death.

In fact, there are indeed ghosts in Hogwarts Castle, and there are quite a few of them. Even if a ghost comes out of the wall now, it is not a strange thing.

As soon as he turned the corner, Albert saw the stone steps that came last night. This time, instead of going down, he continued to move forward.

Turning through another corridor, Albert found a large vase in front of him. He turned his head and looked around, and he actually found the tapestry of the troll wearing a tutu.

"It seems that my luck is good."

Albert quickened his pace, walked to the tapestry, raised his wand, and looked at the wonderful tapestry in front of him with the help of the light above. It can only be described as unbearable to look directly at.

On the tapestry, a group of trolls dressed in ballet dancers are holding wooden sticks or bone sticks, posing in various enchanting poses. A ballet teacher tried to teach a troll to dance, but was beaten by a troll with a bone club.

While Albert was observing the tapestry, the troll stopped beating the ballet teacher and turned to look at him, as if asking, "What are you looking at?"

If he had brought a camera, Albert would definitely have captured this delightful scene.

However, the most important thing now is the Room of Requirement, which is in the white wall opposite this tapestry.

Albert stepped aside, turned around to look at the white wall, then turned his head again, looked at the tapestry, raised his right hand, and made a knocking motion towards the troll.

The giant monster with decayed teeth really imitated him by raising the bone stick and knocking on the poor ballet teacher.

This scene makes people feel sad and cry.

Albert laughed happily, walked towards the white wall, and reached out to touch the white wall. This is a very hard stone wall, and there is no so-called room of response.

The condition for entering the Room of Requirement is to pass through this wall three times and concentrate on thinking about what you need.

"Pass through?" Albert raised his wand, and the pale light illuminated one end of the white wall, where there was a window. He turned around and saw a vase as tall as a person.

So, actually walked through three times?

"A place to practice magic, a place to practice magic..." Albert focused, walked to the window at one end of the white wall, turned back, and turned back to the vase at the other end.

He muttered something in a low voice, and when he turned around for the third time, a change appeared on the wall.

Countless patterns emerged from the white wall, and a smooth door gradually emerged.

Albert is in a good mood because he knows that he has succeeded. He held the brass handle, opened the door and walked in. Inside was a spacious room with torches lit around the walls, a bit like a classroom.

There are many wooden bookshelves beside the wall, and there are hundreds of books on them. Albert suspects that these books were removed from the library. On the other side, there are some puppets used to practice magic.

"Great." Albert said softly. With these books, he doesn't need to go to the library to find books.

However, when using this place, you still need to be careful not to be discovered. After all, a door suddenly appears on the wall, which is still easy to attract the attention of others.

Albert did not stay any longer, and turned to leave the Room of Requirement. He was going to think about how to use this place secretly.

If he doesn't want people to know, he needs to make sure that he didn't meet anyone when he came in, and he didn't meet anyone else when he went out, so that he can keep the secret here.

He needs the Disillusionment spell and the Marauder's Map.

The Disillusionment Charm should be found in the pile of books just now, but the Marauder's Map is not easy to get from Filch.

   Make your own?

He doesn't have this ability now.

Forget it, take your time! Anyway, I will stay here for seven years.

After Albert turned and left, the door of the Room of Requirement slowly disappeared again, and turned into an ordinary white wall again. Few people in school knew that there was a magical room here.
