Xiao Yi and Cao Mo didn’t take the sedan chair, they decided to walk to Lotus House.

With that Cao Mo walked back to Xiao Yi, “Yi, your little sister is in a fever, let’s send for a doctor, shall we? Concubine Wu is sick too, I don’t know whether this kid is in good hand or not, poor girl.”

Xiao Yi knew he couldn’t change his wife’s mind, so he decided to ask one of his pages to send for a doctor and another page to Lotus House to tell Third Aunt that they needed to delay the visit, while he and Cao Mo should make a trip to Banyan House thus they could ask Auntie Lu to be their observer, in case anything that might happen.
