Nikita

Chapter 138 - 037: In Which He Stalks Her

[ARYA]

It had been three weeks since Arya had met with the quack doctor and three weeks since Nikita had headra botu what Arya had done to his people. Nothing much had happened on the streets of Todorov, but in their circles, a lot had brewed. When rya had gone to meet the quack weeks ago, Nikita had trailed them. He had sent a spy to catch Arya's every move since the woman had been captured. Even when she had broken free, Nikita knew it. He had just been waiting for Rael and Morgana to confirm it on his behalf. So when they did, he knew there was more to the woman. And he had been told she was a wolf. Nikita couldn't under atsn why a werewolf was so invested in his affairs. What was her endgame and what did she even want? The person he had hired to tail Arya had otren him the detail he needed. Arya's car design, Arya's house number and apartment. He had gotten quite a lot of information on Arya, including the fact that the woman was a government spy. At first Nikita had thought that she was doing this for the government, but government operatives were always discreet and alway tried to blend in. and that was something the she-wolf hadn't done. Istead, she had caused a ruckus. Nikita had felt that Aria had let out her information because she wanted to be found. Otherwise, why would they find her so easily when they couldn't even find the first thing about her in the first place? When they had first looked her up, there was no link to her, no records and suddenly they showed up when she broke free? It just didn't make any sense. Nikita followed her to the manufacturing plant and watched. Waited to see what would happen with the woman. He wanted to know what he needed. So when she came out of the plant with a pouting sidekick, and bloodies, he knew she had done to the people in there what she had done to Rael and Morgana. After them, he had rushed back inside the plant to see what had happened and just as he had guessed, there were people with broken everything.

"Who did this to you?" Nikita had asked one of the twelve idiots Ara and Ken had beaten up. He wanted to know for sure if the woman or the man had done that.

"She's crazy" the man had responded and the others had nodded in agreement. How a young woman could scare such a number of huge men was beyond him and frankly, he was beginning to buy into the theory that Arya was a werewolf. Then again, that hadn't quite answered his question about the woman. So I had stalked her, day in and out, trying to hide and not be caushg by Arya. but ARya always saw him and smiled at him. However she pretends like she was always smiling at herself. Nikita was  poor spoter. Ken and Enrique had been trained spotters and even they had failed to stay out of the alpha female's sight, so what of a man who had spent his whole life in the operating room? But Arya had let him  have his fun. The only thing she had made sure of was that Drew and Natalya never showed up at her house. She didn't want them to be suspects. She didn't want the doctor to start looking into them. That would be too much information. So somehow, Arya had Drew convince Qiao that he heened to be closer to him. That he needed to protect him. Of course she already knew they were mates, so naturally, Qiao wouldn't deny it. Arya didn't care what the head warrior did with his mate, as long as it didn't jeopardize the main mission. Drew's mission was to ensure Arya was safe and Arya's mission was to make sure the doctor was fixed by the time they went home. Each to their missions, they had to work smarter.

On Nikita's end, the Rostova legion was working overtime to trace the quack. Ken had wanted Arya to give Nikita info on the quack, but then it would always be her choice, besides, if Nikita was to rule beside ARyha, he needed to be intelligent. Together, the taskforce Qiao and Carrie were working on joining hands with the rostova legion to find the quack while their leader was doing errands stalking the girl who wouldt care less about what he did, but how he was doing. There were times Enrique considered calling Nikita to their house to give him food considering he has a terrible spotter, but that wasn't part of the plans. Nikita had realized that Arya wasn't trying to hide from him. She had caught him staring more than ten times and she hadn't done anything to change her people or even her security systems. It was like she knew he wouldn't be able to do anything and that was true. She may have roughed his people, but the more Nikita staked out Arya's house, the more he liked her. He had already seen Ken, Enrique and even Rohit. He knew they were important to her and with the way they interacted, he knew they were special. He however had a loathing for Rohit. Even though they had never met, or interacted, Nikita hated how the man interacted with Arya. he was always jealous of the two. He wondered whether the Indian was the man she had chosen for herself. He always compared himself to rhit and wondered what the man had that Nikita himself didn't have but all the time he ended up beating himself up. He had no reason to hate on Rohit considering the man didn't even know he existed. He was here to stalk Arya and know her schedule, and she had always made it pretty clear from the first day. She would always go for runs in the morning, then go to the library, then back home and sometimes to the market, probably to get groceries. Nikita was always there, pretending to be a customer, or a jogger or a lover of books. For a man who wanted to see what the woman was and what she did, he was slowly adapting to her routines and that wasn't really a part of the plas. But as long as everything was okay,  he didn't twang to care about anything else, unless that anything was Arya Knight. She had a beautiful name, a beautiful body and face. She was beautiful all round and that made him want to abandon his mission here and ask her out, but then she was  a wolf. Whenever Nikita followed her to the market, Arya would intentionally buy loads of raw meat that still had blood on them and take home. And whenever she was eating out, she would always eat bloody steak.. Those were things Nikita had noted. He was slowly beginning to like the woman, but was it really right for the doctor? Was it really safe for him?
