Nikita

Chapter 119 - Freedom?

[ARYA]

"Why?" Rael asked.

"Why what?" Arya bit back. Indeed Rael wasn't so stupid to be flustered by her truth, right?

"Why do you insist that you're doing this for the doctor? What is your end goal for him? No one is ever willing to go to such lengths, but here you are. Why are you doing this? What's in it for you? What's the catch for all of this?" Morgana asked.

She was getting more confused by the truths Arya was telling.

"Why do you care about him?" Arya asked back.

"We're his students, part of his team. Of course, it's natural for us to want to care for him because he saved us and he is a nice person. What Morgana is trying to ask you, in case you're as dumb as you look, is what you want from the doctor.

"Get the person behind this, and then what? Goodbye doctor or what?" Rael insisted. She wasn't the girl that wanted her answers half-assed, and she needed to be ready, and the woman in front of him wasn't making it any easier on her.

"Well, you wouldn't even understand. If I were to explain, you'd think I was crazy," Arya sighed.

"For every wound, you healed pretty quick. What are you?" Rael asked. She was trying to keep her distance from Arya. She had never seen anyone be hit so hard and even shocked by electricity and still have the audacity to be mouthy like Arya.

She wanted to know what Arya was, but at the same time, she was thinking that her brain cells were playing a game with her, but could that really be a reason? It just didn't make sense. Arya cursed herself for not taking the anti-healing potion for the hundredth time.

"Are you an alien?" Rael asked, and Arya scoffed. The humans always liked to conclude that anything that didn't make sense to them was alien. It was a unique kind of mindset that had intrigued Arya since the first day she stepped onto this realm.

She had been a bȧrė turned sixteen-year-old girl who wanted to be on her own. She had been so angry that she hadn't realized that he had crossed the barriers. No one ever broke free of the werewolf barriers quickly, and that was why there were specific entrances and exits for every pack.

"You're ridiculous. You know that, right that's why your friend is over there looking like she just stumbled on a landmine. Or maybe, she's just worried about how crazy you can get. What are the chances that your fellow crazy is scared of your limits?" Arya began angrily.

She wanted out of here, and being polite just wasn't going to make it happen.

"Why? You're shocked? Don't tell me this bimbo in black leather is threatening you in any way. I can pay you tenfold what the doctor is paying you. You just have to say the word, and everything will be okay. I can get you a better school and have you in a family that cares closely.

"Your parents left you on the streets, right, Morgana?" Arya continued. She wanted to make them angrier so they would slip up, and if they did slip up, she would use that chance.

"You don't know that," Morgana said.

"Don't know, or you don't want to accept that it's true? Your family is alive, and you know where they are, but you don't want to go home. What a bad child—"

"Shut up. Just fuċkɨnġ shut up," Rael said.

"Why? Are you scared that I may say things you don't want to know?" Arya said, and she watched Rael pick up the nail gun.

Rael began bringing the darn thing closer to Arya's skin with the gun in her hand. However, before it met with her skin, Morgana interrupted Rael, at the same time that Arya broke free.

"Stop Rael, don't do it! Nooo!" Morgana said.

Arya, on the other hand, had broken free of the cuffs on her legs and her hands that were behind the damn chair. Arya kicked Rael so hard that the woman fell on the floor, a good distance from where Arya was.

Morgana tries to charge up the voltage to restrain Arya, but it doesn't do anything to her. Instead, Arya just walked towards Morgana, her eyes angrier than ever; her wolf was coming to the surface, and for the first time, Arya was letting her do whatever she wanted.

She had had enough of the humans and their pesky states. If they weren't going to get her Nikita, then she would get to the man herself.

"You wanted my name alright? I'll give it to you, but only because I want you to send a message to Nikita," Arya said to Morgana who was looking at her.

Rael tried shooting at Arya but Arya waved off the lead bullets like they meant nothing to her. Any wolf would be worried about their skin tearing, but Arya Knight was an abnormality. Even she didn't know just how much power she held in her arms.

"That's annoying, by the way," Arya said to Rael, with a scrunched, annoyed face. She was tired of waving off the bullets anyways. Turning to Morgana, Arya continued.

"My name is Arya Knight, the werewolf princess. Form the looks you're giving me, it seems like you wont believe me. But love, I didn't have time to show you who i really am or my true form. Don't worry, though, and I won't kill you.

"I tried to blend in by being a volkov or even talking Sammy's name, but it didn't work. Well, then it was bad. Anyway, tell Nikita I'll be coming for him soon. And say to him that I will always be there to thwart any plans that he has of giving up on himself.

"Tell him I said he needs to take care of himself, and that he isn't alone," Arya said as she let Morgana slump on the seat. She then walked towards Israel who was now scared. This woman scared the living wits out of a crazy woman, which had to count for something.

"Oh, Rael. I love your loyalty to Nikita. Keep it up. Make sure nothing bad happens to him because I will be coming for both of your heads if it does. Stay safe, both of you," Arya said as she walked out of the room, but not before removing her wig and releasing her natural white hair.

She had missed the feeling of being free. On her way out, Arya saw Jacob, who had seen everything that had happened in the room. He didn't even try to reach out for his gun. Instead, he just stood there, taking in the beautiful woman that was before him.

He had heard everything, seen everything, and that just made him admire her ore. So when Arya walked past him without a care in the world, Jacob only had one thing for her.

"Hey Arya, that was a boss move. All the best okay," Jacob said, a little too enthusiastically, making Arya let out a tiny laugh. Arya knew her plan to be the hated person wasn't going to work so that she would be herself.

She didn't have to hide anymore.

She didn't have to lie about who she was and what she was capable of.

Of course, she would help Nikita from the shadows, but right now, Arya Knight needed a long warm bath.

Or maybe, she didn't have to hide anymore, right?
