Chapter 35 – Marriage Proposal Part 2

Liu Wei was currently working at a place close to the Xishui Building.

At noon, Zu Jin asked her secretary to bring her in. Then, they ate takeout in her office.

“You’re probably not going to kneel on one knee in public and propose to Yan Lin, are you?”

Zu Jin stuffed a meatball into her mouth. “You just reminded me about it. I think that should be fine.”

Liu Wei rolled her eyes. “You can just stop there. If someone really took a photo of you and posted it on the Internet, then you will be scolded again.”

“What will they scold me about?”

“Of course it will be for trying to seek attention. I think it’s better to let Yan Lin take the lead. Let him show his masculine charm instead of being disciplined by you all day. It’s like your genders were reversed!”

Zu Jin looked at her in disbelief. “Listen to what you’re saying, I feel like that’s way too much…”

After Zu Jin decided that the wedding was really going to happen, she was busy again.

For the sake of secrecy, she did not tell Zu Xiaofei about it to prevent the little girl from spilling the secret when she was on the phone with Yan Lin.

Thus, Zu Hua was the only one who knew about it at home.

A week passed in a blink of an eye, and Yan Lin was coming back.

Zu Jin drove to the airport alone. She picked up Yan Lin, and drove directly to the wedding scene.

Yan Lin soon realized that this was not the way home. He asked in confusion, “Where are we going?”

Zu Jin turned on the turn signal and stated solemnly, “To get married.”

“…What?”

The car drove for more than an hour before it finally stopped.

When they got out of the car, they stood by the side of the road. Zu Jin took his arm and pointed to the other side of the road.

“Right there.”

Yan Lin looked in the direction she pointed at and questioned a few seconds later, “Qiyu Group? Why are we here?’

Zu Jin smiled and shook her head. “No, I’m pointing at the other side of the road. It was the first time I saw you. Then, I went to the dinner party that night, I made the first move on you.”

Yan Lin looked at her again. After a while, he reached out his arm and hugged her.

“Husband, I realized something. I won’t prioritize my work so much in the future. Feifei is so big. I haven’t taken care of her properly, nor have I been sympathetic about your hard work. Now, I think I’m really irresponsible.”

However, she felt touched while she was in the middle of laughing. It was because she was really lucky to have such an excellent partner who cared for her.

She took a small black velvet box from her pocket and knelt down on one knee in front of Yan Lin.

“Mr. Yan Lin, the first time I saw you, I knew you would belong to me. What do you think?”

Yan Lin’s expression froze with shock.

At this time, people passing by saw that there was a proposal happening on the street. Moreover, it was a woman doing the proposal marriage. How could they not immediately stand and look at what was going on?

Soon, they were surrounded by a large group of strangers.

The marriage proposal ceremony was over. She stood up on her tiptoes and gave him a strong kiss on the lips without any regards to the people looking at them.

At this time, one of the strangers suddenly asked, “Hey, why are you wearing two rings on one hand?”

Zu Jin turned to look at the stranger. She raised her hand and waved it at him.

“Because we are already married.”
