Limitless Survival Game

Someone posted yet another “Tip” post with the headline “It’s not worth it to clear the extreme challenge mode.”

The host used a large amount of data to prove that the materials needed to survive the last stage of the instance, “Epidemic Phase” is not cost-effective. Especially since the so-called extra rewards for custom clearance were only five bottles of mineral water and five pieces of brown bread.

Then he proved it is the most suitable and beneficial to leave the instance on the nth day…

He eloquently wrote a lot, but someone replied under the post a few minutes later, “I guess the host must have not have cleared the level. The final rewards were not what you said.”  

“Can you stop passing on ways to die faster? First, become the boss of customs clearance and then educate, okay?”

“Clearly not a master of custom clearance, and still dare to sprout nonsense. Who gave you the courage?”

The host was furious, claiming that his information was 100% accurate and it came from his good friend.

As a result, a series of comments quickly appeared below –

“20-day survivor here, the extra rewards written by the host is rubbish, but I don’t want to say what I got.”

“Rubbish +1.”

“Hmm, OP got cheated.”

“This is exactly why one should always take precautions against fire, theft, and friends. Heh, I was talking to the good friend of OP. Good thing the master told OP a bunch of lies; maybe he knew his friend would come show off on the forum? Is OP that eager to dig a hole for your friend?”

After that, the original poster did not show up again.

According to the analysis from melon-eaters, that boat of friendship might have possibly sunk by now.

Su Han felt bored after surfing the forum for nearly half a day, so she simply switched to the “Survival Enthusiasts” forum to read old posts.

She wanted to memorize all the survival tips others provided in the past. After all, seeing and remembering are two different things. Only when she kept all those information firmly inside her mind will she remember what to do at a critical juncture.

There were also many posts discussing “Limitless Survival Game” in the forum. It seems almost everyone in this forum actually signed up for the competition.

However, the members in this forum are astute and consciously avoid posting sensitive topics.

“My aim was really horrible the first time I used a slingshot to shoot a bird. It improved after three days of practice. After practicing for a week, I was basically a bird hunting master. I lived a good life selling roasted sparrows and roasted pigeons (*’ ︶｀*).”

“I caught more than 8 fishes every day, hahaha… ೕ(˃̵ᴗ˂̵ ๑) At last, all those times I wasted fishing has finally paid off!”

“You can only become a winner in life by making scallion pancakes, okay? Buy all the ingredients you need as soon as you enter the instance, make hundreds of scallion pancakes every day in just a few minutes. Then use the money to buy medicines and daily necessities.” 

“How did the scallion pancakes taste? The shrimp pancakes I made were delicious! I just got tired of eating them all the time. But there’s no way, I couldn’t afford to be picky if I wanted to survive.”

Hunting, fishing, and making food from scratch were all mentioned in the forum’s old posts. As a result, everyone didn’t shy away and openly discussed their experiences.

After scrolling through the posts, Su Han found that maybe because of the daily follow-up information about survival, almost everyone in the Survival Forum had no trouble in the game.

It makes sense though. When the members think about survival, clean water and high-calorie substances are indispensable items for people in this group. So, it was not surprising that everyone will subconsciously find ways to gather the materials they’re familiar with at the beginning of the game… it was a lucky coincidence that those materials were mandatory items in the game.

Therefore, the survival rate of the members in the forum is exceptionally high. Some even took the opportunity to make a windfall in the game—

“Who can say they are as powerful as me? I made a lot of money making and selling soaps. Hahahaha! No wonder my high school teacher told us to study the science disciplines well!”

A group of people underneath worshiped the boss and praised him for being too mighty.

Su Han also felt envious. Even if he told everyone how he survived, others can’t imitate it because of technical barriers.

Shaking her head with an amused sigh, Su Han decided to go to bed early. The second round of the competition is starting tomorrow; she must conserve her energy to face the new challenge.

After a good night’s sleep –

The next day, Su Han freshened herself up, had breakfast, and then laid down in the gaming cabin.

At 8 o’clock in the morning, like last time, Su Han found herself inside the mist.

The system started talking after a few seconds, “Welcome to “Limitless Survival Game”.  Player currently has 100 points. Do you wish to enter the system mall?”

Su Han chose “Yes” without hesitation.

The mall panel appeared. Su Han browsed and found that most sold-out items had been replenished. But “Personal warehouse” and “Great value gift bag” these two options, had disappeared.

Su Han understood the first hour in the instance was a crucial period based on what happened last time. Therefore, she restocked everything according to what she had in her warehouse without wasting any time.

She now has – [Soap×100, Water bottle×100, Buttered pork floss bread×20, Instant noodles×40, Steel beads×69bags, 1×Food storage box (empty box), 1×Daily necessities box (empty box), 1×Medical box (10 rolls of medical bandages, 7 boxes of anti-inflammatory drugs), 1×Fuel box (5 candles, 5 lighters, 1 magnesium strip, 1 flintstone) and 1×Tool box (1 backpack, 2 slingshots, 1 fishing rod, steel beads)]

Su Han exchanged the remaining 15 points into 1500 coins and closed the panel.

The system asks, “Preparations are over. Does player wish to enter the game now?”

She chose, “Yes.”

With a flash of white light, Su Han officially entered the second round of the game.
