Hogwarts Card Drawer

Chapter 80: Riddler

However, before Dumbledore could speak, the office door slammed and was slammed open. Hagrid rushed in, wearing a helmet-style hat on top of his dark, unkempt head, holding a dead rooster in his hand.

"Principal, are you looking for me?" Hagrid said.

"To be precise, it was not I looking for you. Connelly was looking for you." Dumbledore pointed to Fudge, who was standing across from him.

Hager's face turned pale, and sweat started on his forehead. He fell to the ground, looking at Dumbledore, and then at Cornelius Fudge.

"It's terrible, Hagrid." Fudge said in a crisp and quick tone, "It's terrible, I have to come. There were two attacks at Hogwarts. It was too much, the Ministry of Magic must take action."

"I didn't!" Hagrid said eagerly, and waved the **** in his hand anxiously, scattering the feathers everywhere.

"I hope you understand, Connelly, I completely trust Hagrid." Dumbledore frowned at Fudge.

"But you see, Albus," Fudge said unnaturally, "Hagrid's criminal record is very unfavorable to him! The Ministry of Magic has to take measures-it has contacted the school board." Glancing at Mr. Malfoy next to him.

"It's another man with a pot back." Cronos thought. Cronos was disgusting with the inaction of the Ministry of Magic.

"Then what do you want me to do?" Hagrid's eyes were full of anger.

"Another place." Fudge said, not looking at Hagrid's eyes. "It's not a punishment, it's just a preventive measure. If you catch another person, you will be released and a full apology will be given."

"Okay! I'm here." Hagrid said, "If someone wants to find something, they just need to follow the spider and they will find the right direction."

Chronos stared at the door in astonishment, he had every reason to be sure that Harry and Ron were somewhere here.

"Hello, Cronos. Nice to see you again." Connelly greeted Cronos before leaving. Cronos nodded to him.

"If you can't get my son to recover before the holiday, you will be over. I will definitely let the school board expel you." Mr. Malfoy slapped a ruthless word and left. He also looked at Corot before he left. North glanced. But he didn't say anything.

Cronos expressed his understanding, after all, his only son was hurt. A bad mood is excusable. Speaking of which, Mr. Malfoy did it himself.

"Alright, Chronos. What can you do if you come to see me?" Chronos was left in Dumbledore's room...

Cronos looked at the square room.

"They're gone, with Hagrid." Dumbledore seemed to see what Chronos was thinking.

"Who do you think did this attack? Professor Dumbledore." Cronos asked.

"Aren't you already investigating? Chronos." Dumbledore picked up the spoon on the side and added a lot of sugar to the coffee.

"Nonsense, if I find out, can I still ask you?" Chronos spit out Dumbledore fiercely. But he still said: "My clue is broken, and I'm stuck in a dilemma. Professor."

Dumbledore stopped adding sugar with his right hand, crossed his hands and looked at the chair behind the table. He looked at Chronos and said, "Chronos, you don't need to sort out those mists. You have the ability to face the truth through the mists."

"Damn!" Cronos was already scolding his mother in his heart, this Dumbledore is really an old riddler. It's really hard to get something out of his mouth.

Cronos left, and didn't even bring the door when he left. Dumbledore just smiled at this, and then the door was gently closed with a light wave.

Cronos finally found Hermione in the library. Hermione was burying her head in an old library book when she found her.

"Found it, found it." As soon as Cronos approached Hermione, she jumped up excitedly.

"What did you find?" Cronos asked subconsciously.

"It's a basilisk, and the monster in the secret room is a basilisk." Hermione happily took Chronos' hand.

"Of course it's the Basilisk." Cronos curled his lips in disdain, but he reacted to something wrong as soon as he spoke.

Sure enough, Hermione released the right hand she had grasped, took a step back and looked at him suspiciously and said, "How did you know?"

"Know what?" Cronos still wanted to pretend to be foolish.

"Basilisk, you know the monster in the secret room is a basilisk." Hermione said.

"Didn't you say that the monster in the secret room is a basilisk?" Chronos blinked.

"No." Hermione shook her head. "Listening to your tone, you already knew that the monster in the secret room is a basilisk. Are you the one?" Hermione could not go on talking later, she was obviously guessed by her own. The answer was surprised.

Cronos is simply speechless~www.readwn.com~ Sometimes he really finds Hermione's self-righteous character annoying. But looking at her performance, Cronos didn't think she was the one with the diary.

"Yes, I already knew that the monster in the secret room is the basilisk." Chronos simply admitted directly.

"And I also know that only people who look directly at the basilisk will petrify them." Cronos continued without waiting for Hermione to speak. Ke is the basilisk seen through the reflection of the windows of the trophy showroom."

"But how did you know?" Hermione asked.

   "Newt Scamander told me".

"I'm sorry, Mr. Newt." Cronos apologized to Newt in his heart, but he had no choice but to let him go.

"The author who wrote "Where are the magical species?"

"Yes, you know. He is also a second-level medalist of the Merlins. We met at my award ceremony." Cronos said, "He told me a certain legend."

Legend has it that the Basilisk is a snake-like magical creature with an emerald green body. It comes from the magic egg laid by a seven-year-old rooster when Sirius was in the sky, and it was hatched by a toad. Its line of sight is the most dangerous attack weapon: any creature that directly intersects with its gaze will be killed immediately, and creatures that intersect indirectly (such as seen in a mirror) will be petrified. As long as there is sufficient food, the basilisk can usually live for a long time.

Hermione looked at Cronos exactly the same as the book said, and believed him.

"Why are you looking for me?" she asked.

This time it was Chronos' turn to be silent. He had originally planned to ask Hermione and Tong Owen that there was no gap, but it looked like Hermione was like this. It is impossible for the diary to be in her hands.
