Hogwarts Card Drawer

Chapter 79: Dilemma

That night, Cronos couldn't sleep for several hours. He tossed and turned, through the gaps in the cloth around the bed, watching the snowflakes drifting across the castle windows, feeling a daze in his heart.

At the Lihen Bookstore that day, he did see Mr. Malfoy holding the diary in Ginny's book, but then Cronos did not find the diary in the group of books. So it is very likely that the diaries were scattered in the bookstore during the fight.

The only people in the bookstore that day were the Weasleys, Harry and Hermione, except for the Malfoys and I. It would be impossible if Ron took it. He stayed with Harry every day. There was such a diary that Harry would not fail to notice.

And Guidro Lockhart's suspicion is also much smaller. On today's duel club, Cronos has been staring at him, and he also behaved normally without making any strange moves.

"Is it Hermione?" There was only the last person's name in Cronos' mind. If it was really Hermione, it was still possible, he wrote in his diary that Draco called him a mudblood. With Voldemort's deceptive words, Hermione could not resist. If you know Hermione, she can't even tell if Lockhart is a liar.

"What about Irving Caldwell?" Cronos remembered the name of the first victim. Why did Hermione attack him? There is no reason for Hermione to attack a wizard who is similar to her own status and has no contradictions!

"The only intersection between them is that they are both students in my magic circle class." Thinking of this, Cronos decided that he should ask Hermione tomorrow. It's no use just guessing here.

However, the next morning, the snow that had fallen from the night turned into heavy snow. In this way, the last herbal medicine class of this semester was also cancelled. Professor Sprout will wear socks and scarves to Mandela and treat them like newborn babies. This is an important job, and she can't rest assured of entrusting it to others. Now, letting the mandela grass grow up quickly is the most important thing to save the petrified classmates.

Cronos saw Malfoy’s carriage at the gate of Hogwarts Castle. The four flying horses were stopping where they kicked the snow with their front hooves.

Cronos immediately strode into the castle, stepped up the stairs, and turned to another corridor. The light here was very dim, a piece of window glass was loose, and a strong wind blew in and put out the torch. Then at the end of the corridor, Chronos turned a corner, and finally found the person he was looking for in front of a huge stone monster.

   "Hey! Dobby!" Cronos whispered.

Dobby, who was originally thick in front of the stone monster, was startled by the sudden sound. When he saw that his person was Chronos, he was already shaking.

"Come here." Cronos waved his hand impatiently, Dobby walked more slowly than Neville's toad.

"Why haven't you come to me until now? Have you found the black diary I told you to find at Lockhart?" Chronos's questions kept asking like a gun.

"Dobby doesn't... Dobby can't leave in front of his master." Dobby seems to be particularly afraid of Cronos, and Cronos hasn't done anything to him yet! His big eyes were already full of tears.

Cronos rolled his eyes and said, "This is not the time for you to leave Malfoy Manor at will for Harry Potter."

But now Cronos doesn't bother to care about so many details. "Then did you go to Lockhart to find the black diary?" he asked.

"Go, Dobby went. But Dobby can't find it, there is nothing there. There is nothing." Dobby's voice was trembling, and tears flowed down after he finished speaking.

Cronos glanced at him a little boredly, and he walked up to that ugly giant stone monster.

"Chilled lemon juice?" Cronos tentatively said a password. The monster suddenly came alive and jumped aside, the wall behind it split in two. Behind the wall is a spiral staircase, which is slowly moving upward, like an escalator. Cronos stepped on with one foot, and heard a bang from behind, and the wall closed again. They rotated higher and higher, higher and higher, and the last shiny wooden door appeared in front of Chronos, on which was a brass door knocker in the shape of a lion's eagle head.

As soon as Cronos put his ear on it, he heard the person inside say: "Since you are here, come in! Cronos."

"Damn it!" As soon as Cronos made a complaint, the door was opened.

There are three people in Dumbledore’s office, Dumbledore sitting on a chair behind the desk~www.readwn.com~ and Mr. Malfoy standing in front of him with an angry face and Minister Fudge with a gentle smile on his face.

"Just sit down!" Dumbledore smiled and glanced at Cronos.

"Where can I sit?" Chronos smiled bitterly. There was no place to rest in the room except the chair where Dumbledore was sitting. Otherwise our Minister Fudge would not stand.

Cronos began to look at Dumbledore's office, which was a big and beautiful square room with some funny little noises from time to time. Some strange-shaped silver utensils were placed on the table with imitation hammer-shaped feet, rotating and emitting wisps of light smoke. All the portraits of the former principals are posted on the walls. There are males and females, and everyone looks elegant. Behind a huge table with claw-shaped legs, there is a shelf on which lies a shabby sorting hat.

"I don't have the time to chat with you, Dumbledore. I need an explanation, a reasonable explanation." Mr. Malfoy's face no longer has the calm and unhurried demeanor, replaced by a look of anger. One can imagine how angry his only son was being petrified.

"Calm down, Lucius." Dumbledore calmed him. "Draco is just being petrified, and our herbal medicine teacher is already speeding up the growth of mandela grass."

"Calm down?" Mr. Malfoy's voice suddenly rose eight degrees. "How can you tell me to calm down? I didn't dare to tell Narcissa about this. If he didn't see Draco before the holiday, she would be crazy. ."

Hearing these words, Cronos expressed his praise. During the summer vacation last year, Cronos could feel Aunt Narcissa's doting on Draco. If this matter really lets her know, I'm afraid she will come to Hogwarts the next day.
