Harry Potter’s Fantastic Animals Guide

Chapter 30: Okay, David can't hear you!

啧, this little mouth clicks so fast!

David gave a secret compliment in his heart, he reached out and shook Hermione's hand, and then introduced: "This is my grandfather, Newt Scamander."

"Newt Scamander?" Hermione repeated in a low voice, frowning slightly, and then quickly unwinding, she said excitedly: "I remember where I saw this name. ."

Hermione frizzily opened the small bag on her back, rummaged in it for a while, and pulled out an envelope. Like David's, she took out the letter paper inside.

After that, she glanced at it for a while with her fingertips, and then read: "The Monsters and Their Origins" by Newt Scamander."

"Are you the author of this book?" Hermione asked expectantly.

"Yes, I'm very honored to be your textbook, I hope you like it." After Newt finished speaking, he quietly raised his eyebrows at David.

"Oh, great, can you sign me?" Hermione asked, but when she went to get the book, she suddenly realized that she hadn't bought it yet.

Hermione's face was a little red, and she said with a little embarrassment: "Wait a moment, will you sign me again?"

"Okay, no problem." Newt said with a smile.

Hermione wanted to say something, but was interrupted by Professor McGonagall. She said, "Then they will ask you, Mr. Scamander."

New York nodded, and McGonagall left like the wind. She took a big step and disappeared in the crowd within a few steps.

"Shall we go to Gringotts now? There you can change to Jin Jialong." Newt said as he led the way forward. The Grangers followed him, and there was no match. Newt chatted, and the conversation got happier.

After years of tempering, Newt now has plenty of experience in getting along with Muggles.

"What are the monsters like? Are they scary?" Hermione asked, walking beside David.

"They are some very cute little animals, you will like them when you see them." Newt suddenly turned his head and said.

"Then why call them monsters?" Hermione said.

"It might be more appropriate to call them Fantastic Animals. But..." Newt blinked at Hermione, and then said, "Maybe calling this name will make more people buy my book."

Hermione giggled when she heard the answer, and after a short while, she said again, "Are you all wizards in your family?"

"Well, yes, and everyone except my grandmother graduated from Hogwarts." David said.

"Then have you learned magic since you were young?"

David noticed that when Hermione was asking this question, she was a little nervous. She was such a strong little girl. David said: "Children from wizard families rarely learn magic before going to school, because they are too young. The magic in the body is not too stable yet."

"As for learning other knowledge, I think most of them like Quidditch better." David said: "You only need to work a little harder after you go to school to surpass them."

Hermione breathed a sigh of relief, she lightly clenched her fist to cheer for herself, and said, "I will!"

"What's that Quidditch?" Hermione's question came again.

David just wanted to answer, but Hermione's gaze was already attracted by the large white building in front of him.

The white building stood crookedly at a fork in the road, and a large number of wizards kept coming in and out.

In front of a huge bronze gate stood a short figure dressed in red with gold trim. His skin was dark and his fingers and feet were very long. At this time, he was leading the wizard.

This is Gringotts, the bank of the wizarding world.

"He is a fairy." Newt said softly to the Grangers: "They are all very good craftsmen, especially good at making silverware. And they have extremely high attainments in the financial and currency fields, so we Give all the money to them for safekeeping."

When they had reached the door of Gringotts, the standing fairy turned around and saw Newt, and soon he walked over.

David saw Ragnor engraved on the nameplate on his chest, and he respectfully said: "Mr. Scamander, you are welcome, are you here to withdraw money?"

  Newt smiled and nodded.

"We have some new deposit services and magic items recently, I think you can find out later." Ragnor said.

"I will think about it," Newt said.

But for the Grangers, Ragno didn't have such a good attitude. After speaking with Newt, he walked to the side, as if he hadn't seen a few people.

"Don't care too much, they are like this. If I didn't have a deposit in it, they would be ignorant of me." When entering the hall, Newt said softly, "They just want me to exist. The money here is nothing."

The Grangers nodded their heads, the expressions on their faces improved. Ragnor's attitude just embarrassed them.

"You can go to the counter there to exchange currency." Newt pointed his finger at a counter at the door. There are several families in front of the counter to exchange currency. They should all be new students at Hogwarts.

"If we haven't come out in a while, you can wait for us at the door, and then we can go shopping for other things together." Newt said.

Mr. Granger said: "No problem, we will wait for you by the stone pillar at the door."

Seeing that Hermione had been looking at everything around her since she came in, she seemed very interested. Newt said with a smile, "How about? Hermione, do you want to go in and have a look?"

When Hermione heard this, she immediately looked at the Grangers. She blinked her eyes, filled with longing.

"Go, but you have to listen to Mr. Scamander," said Mrs. Granger.

"Oye, you are so kind, Mom!" Hermione gave a soft cheer and gave Mrs. Granger a hug.

After separating from the Grangers, David and Hermione followed Newt through a row of goblin counters to the front of a counter that was closer.

"Hello," Newt said, "I want to withdraw some money."

"Mr. Scamander, did you bring the key?" said the goblin behind the counter.

"Of course." Newt drew in his bag for a while, took out a golden key and handed it to the fairy.

The fairy took the key and looked at it for a while. UU read www.uukānshu.com and shouted at the back, saying it was fairy language, and David couldn't understand what he said.

After a while, a goblin came out from behind the counter. He took the key from the goblin behind the counter and handed it to Newt, "Hello Mr. Scamander, I’m Gonubi, please follow me. ?"

Following Gonubi, Newt and the others passed through a gate and came to a steep **** with a cart in front of the slope.

"Shall we take this?" Hermione poked David.

David shrugged his shoulders helplessly and said, "Yes, and you'd better close your eyes later."

But it was obvious that Hermione didn't listen to David's words, because she was screaming all the way, David felt that the ear near her was almost deaf, her voice was so loud!

As the cart slowed down when passing through a canyon, Hermione suddenly said, "Is that a dragon underneath?"

"What?" David did not hear clearly, he was still immersed in the screams of Hermione just now.

"That is the Hungarian Tree Peak, one of the most dangerous fire dragons in the world." Newt glanced at Gonubi in front of him, with some accusations in his tone: "It shouldn't be in this dark underground."

"Oh, sir, it belongs to Gringotts. It is the most loyal bodyguard here. Our treasure needs them to guard." Gonubi said: "But you can buy him, sir, as long as you have the Jinjia Twice the length of Long is fine, it’s a good deal.

Newt touched his chin, looked at the fire dragon under the canyon, and seemed to be thinking about Gonubi’s proposal.

David was thinking: How can I **** this dragon out?

"Well, sir, we're here." The car stopped, and Gonubi said, pointing to a door next to it.
