00339 Desert

The chief, a neutral place between Jinsun and Gracia, is mostly desert. Most of the crops in the parched land do not grow, the weather is very dry, and at night the temperature drops, so it is not a place for people to live.

That didn't mean that people didn't live here, in the Desert of Bully. The Bully Sal Desert is the only land that connects Jinn and Gracia. People who turned their backs on Gracia, slaves who escaped, criminals who committed crimes. When they can't cross the sea, they have no choice but to take the desert route.

Melts here.

“You want to cross the desert? ”

The man's mouth is halfway open. He shuts his mouth and scratches his head as if it were embarrassing.

“Honestly, I can't recommend it at this time... but I've heard that the Markers have been getting a bit harsh lately. Everyone's dying, so there's no one left to escort them.”

“I don't need an escort. ”

Azin stopped speaking to the man. The man looked at Ajin's dark face and tasted it. “Oh, it's none of my business...” He mumbles to Azin and hands him the sharp stick he was holding. Ajin takes over and pulls. The camel blushes and follows after Ajin.

“.. escort, do you really not need it? ”

“I don't need it. ”

Ajin replied without even looking back. With the camel, Ajin returns to the guest cup awaited by Raw Snow and Persian. The breeze is aggravated by the flinching sand, and Ajin frowns.

“They all say the same thing. ”

Asin opens his mouth as he pulls out his chair. A city situated in the desert called "The Bridge." Even in the middle of Jinsun and Gracia, it was no exaggeration, and thanks to this, there were all kinds of things that were not commonly seen in Jinsun. Demibeasts, deserted slaves branded on their foreheads, starting with Dark Elves with their skin.

“Martyrs have horns, that sort of thing. ”

Persian pushes the glass of cold water toward the sore. Azin gasps and takes in the water. Two days since I got to the bride. Before I entered the Bully Saleh Desert, I gathered at least some information. It is a completely different world from what Ajin has been since the Bullishal Desert. From there, it is Gracie's influence, not hers.

‘There is a dungeon master in the Bully Saleh Desert. ’

When the noble gate and the dark star were about to clash, Azin once caught one of the dark wizards of the Dark Star and speculated. Among the stories he told was the existence of the dungeon master in the deserts to be burned. Leg, Azin touches his chin, remembering his name. The dungeon masters are the pinnacles of the Black Wizards and monsters close to the Master Meiji.

‘Plus, there's the Mages. ’

They are the bandits of the desert. What they do is they ambush merchants going back and forth with Gracia, or they capture and sell slaves who escape from Gracia.

‘There's the Podallax Palace. ’

Azin's eyes frown. The Desert of Boulysal, the chief, is a neutral place that does not interfere with the Jinsun Imperial, Moorish and Gracias. Thanks to you, this place is filled with unique groups of people arguing over it. Taken together from the bridges, there were a total of three forces in the Bully Desert.

Black wizards led by Dungeon Master Leg.

Mage Bandits led by King Yugaha of Toma.

Kazan the Silent and Podallaq.

Needless to say, Dungeon Master Leg. The hordes of wizards, especially those ready to deal with, have been thoroughly underground in the noble gate. Yugaha, the Tooma King who leads the Martyrs. King Toma is not well known in the Sunny Moors, but he is a monster in the same position as Regnom or Kazan, the owner of the Podallaq Palace in the Bully Desert.

“.. I wish I could use magic. ”

“I told you we can't use magic. ”

Persian lip twitches. “The desert itself is blocking space travel.” According to Persian, he sighs.

“They say it's the magic of dragon intervention. ”

Azin presses down on his itchy head with his hands.

“Despite the presence of Podallac Palace, the Mages, and the Black Wizards, the practical owners of the deserts are called Gargasia, the dragon nested in the desert. The Podallaq Palace and the Black Wizards have a neutral relationship with Garcia, but the Magdalene make tribute to Garcia once a year and maintain a friendly relationship. ”

“Why?”

The smell of Raw Snow tilted my head and asked.

“The Black Wizard and the Podallac Palace are on their own turf. Ramas in the Podallac Palace are less likely to come out of the Podallac Palace, and the Black Wizards are also obsessed with research in the dungeon. But I'm not a Team Mage. They run through the desert, they raid merchants, they capture people across the desert, they sell them as slaves. After all, this entire desert is their domain.”

Azin folds his arms and leans his chair back.

“In order to move quickly, you need to move in a straight line through the giant South Oasis, where there is a rare Gargasia. In order to be free to go there, the Martyrs are offering tribute to Garcia. And these days it's time for the Martyrs to prepare tribute. ”

“So.”

Persian tilts his head.

“Are you going to take the boat route? ”

“No, it takes too long to get to the ocean. It's the fastest way across the desert, so you have to choose this direction. It will take about a month to travel on land without rest. ”

Azin pauses and frowns.

“First of all, I want to avoid friction. The Podallax Palace is adjacent to Great Wheel in the south of the Bully Desert, so there's no friction with them... But the problem is with the Black Wizards and the Mages. I couldn't honestly understand the realms of the Black Wizards. It's just a dungeon. ”

The Dark Star will have to confront him someday, but not right away. The Bull 's-eye Desert is their domain. This side is too unprepared to go to war with a large number of prepared wizards.

“In the case of the Martyrs, if you ask for money when you run into them... well, I'll give it to you. I have a lot of money anyway. ”

“Wouldn't it be better to kill? ”

Raw snow bites. Asin shakes her head.

“If I mess with the Magistrates, they may even become hostile to the dragon, Gargasia. I think it's better to give them some money and let them behave. ”

I don't want to fight dragons. That was an honest heart. I can't even sense how powerful a dragon is. The only dragon Azin had ever seen in this world was Vasrodel, and he thought that the smell of Raw Snow would not support him when he fought.

‘Gargasia outranks Vasrodel. ’

Garcia can't, but 5,000 years old is an old dragon. At least it would have been stronger than Hiddenpiece. An opponent who cannot be encouraged by his current pain.

“.. First, we'll rest here until today, and then we'll leave early tomorrow. ”

A desert. He pulls his chair back and raises himself up.

*

I've never ridden a camel before. The ride of the first camel was not surprisingly bad. I was a little worried about crossing the desert, but the journey itself was not that difficult. Ajin's Avatar has already crossed the brink of bitterness, so there was no rush to the heat of the desert. It was the same with Raw Snow and Persian. Thanks to that, the night in the desert was not so hard.

Of course, it was not a pleasant journey. The biggest enemy was the sandstorm. The winds blew without rest, filled with sand, and the whirlwinds that could sometimes be seen from afar looked intimidating enough.

And then...

“A monster.”

Azin looked at it because he felt a bit curious. What appeared to Azin was a great scorpion. The passenger car seemed to be a bit ridiculous at the size of it, and the poisonous sting on its straight-tailed tail flashed with a black bitten poison. After that, it was the first time I saw a monster like that since I started from the beginning.

“There were few monsters on the line. ”

In Persian's words, he nods. Players in Jinsung and Gracia have slightly different ways of leveling up. In Gracia, they mostly level up while hunting monsters like that, but advanced players level up with quests and dancers.

“I can see now that you're out of the way. Do you know what that is? ”

“Red Scorpion. A monster that can be seen easily in the desert. The poison in the tail is powerful enough to melt even rocks, and the shell is very hard. ”

In Persian's explanation, Ajin grins as if it were funny. Azin steps down from the camel and stands before the Red Scorpion. He looks at the pain and wags his tail with a rattling sound. Azin clenches his fist and walks toward him, blood gushing.

“Now it's a little game. ”

He mutters so lightly, hitting the ground. The sand rises up. Asin springs out in front of the Red Scorpion, dipping his fist onto the shell of the man holding it. Kwak 'jic! I didn't even use my strength, but his shell was crushed in a single blow.

‘I can't even tell. ’

Ajin tasted it while checking his marginal gains. As your level gets too high, catching a monster won't even show up. Azin clenches his fist and bludgeons the corpse of Red Scorpion to the ground.

“If you think about it, I've been fighting people all this time, and it's weird to see monsters like this. ”

“Don't you find that easy to deal with? ”

Persian asked, "The NPCs of this world are finally living humans." Persian questions imply that. Azin shakes his head, smiling bloody.

“Not really. ”

He said so, and he touched his hand. As soon as he turns around and climbs back up to the camel, Azin catches a cloud of dust rising from afar. Azin's eyes narrowed. Sandstorm? No. Ajin kicks his tongue.

“Now you're embarrassed. ”

Azin mutters like that. At that, I looked back at the direction Persian and Raw Snow were looking at. “Magran.” Azin approaches the camel and grips it. I thought I was going to meet you, but I didn't feel so good about the time it came. You're gonna have to take the money.

The Magran are close. Ten of them, riding gray horses. Azin narrows his eyes as he looks at those slowing down. From the curved bay to the side of the horse, he hung various weapons. He wrapped a cloth around his mouth and pressed a hat on his head to block the sand wind. Azin glances at the Raw Snow and Persian flavors. The same thing was true of her and Azin, wrapped in a cloth to block the sand.

“Queek!”

The leader tugs and shouts in a sharp voice. The horses stopped running. They glanced down three with overwhelming gazes, surrounding the azin, blacksnow and Persian scents.

“I meet the warriors of the desert. ”

Azin bows coldly. “Merchant?” asked the man who stood at the forefront of Zoar Azin's head. Ajin replied as he had planned.

“No, I'm not.”

“Then what is it? ”

“I'm on my way to see my relatives in Gracia. ”

Ajin bows his head politely and replies. In response, he stretched his chest wide as he uncorked.

“Really? That's a long way to go. We are the warriors of the storm troop who herald the blows here. I should have you beheaded for trespassing on our territory! ”

He empowers his voice.

“There's no need to see blood if you're in good faith. ”
