51 – Episode 51

I came back to my room, lay in bed all day, and stayed up all night with my eyes open, then looked at the clock as the sun rose for a while.

Soon it will be time for Misty to visit, so she simply takes a shower, puts on her clothes, and leaves the room.

As expected, even though the appointment time was 30 minutes later, Misty was sitting next to the door and leaning against the wall.

Perhaps he was originally a person who slept late in the morning, his expression was full of tiredness.

However, the exact opposite of that, he was wearing sky-light clothes that seemed to have been decorated for a long time, and he was wearing accessories that were not normally seen.

As if it had been decorated for a long time.

No, it must have been made up.

She looks up at me, smiles and speaks in a slightly welcoming voice.

“Oh, is Eric out already?”

“You are.”

“Oh, it’s just that I don’t sleep in the morning.”

In Misty’s eyes as she said that, there was a little shadow under her eyes that made her words so believable.

“Anyway, I have to wait an hour for the carriage to depart. Would you like to have breakfast together?”

“Where.”

“I go to a restaurant and eat in moderation.”

From noble mtl dot com

“Do you cook me breakfast too?”

“No, we just left the space open for you to sit down and eat.

Still, there’s no better place to eat than there.”

Not really.

It seems that there is no other place except for a large dining table and a sofa that is the perfect height for dining.

In the first place, I didn’t know that the restaurant was open in the morning because she didn’t eat breakfast.

“Doesn’t Eric eat breakfast in the morning?”

“Uh.”

“Living like that is bad for the body… No, rather than nagging, then I’ll take care of breakfast in the future, well.”

I don’t have to.

She still couldn’t spit on her smiling face, she couldn’t bring herself to say no.

“Thank you very much for that.”

She went down to the dining room and Misty took two slices of bread from the basket she was holding and held one out to me.

It was a loaf of bread with a whole piece of butter in the middle.

As I looked at the bread with a quizzical look, Misty started explaining the bread.

“Even if you can’t eat it because it’s greasy with just butter, you’ll enjoy it because it’s covered with honey!”

After hearing that, I ask for a bite of bread.

And it was dirty and sweet.

To the point where you want to drink coffee right away.

But he doesn’t show it with his expression.

Because he was looking at me with eyes full of expectations.

I quickly ate the bread and drank the water that Misty handed me to just lightly dry my mouth.

The sweetness that seemed to cling from the roof of my mouth to the tip of my tongue couldn’t come off.

After breakfast, Misty took my hand and started to take me somewhere.

“Let’s go ride the carriage now.”

“Where should I go?”

“That’s right, after leaving the academy, I’m going out to the big field, so I have to go to the main gate.”

“Then let’s go soon.”

Come to think of it, coming to the main gate is the second time.

The first time passing through to enter the academy, the second time now.

Well, there was no such thing as getting out of here.

As I walked in front of the large front door, I saw some workmen, and then a coachman loading a wagon.

Except for a few students who came out early in the morning, there weren’t many people around.

“Teacher, do you know that Eric has moved schools?”

“Maybe you know, Mr. Louise. No, the teacher said that if you bring me that piece of paper, everything will be resolved.”

“Come to think of it, what should I do with the carriage? I’m sure all the seats to ride have already been decided.”

“That’s it… I’m sure it will work somehow.”

You just need to feel free to sit next to the coachman and smell the horse’s butt.

The coachman sitting next to me must be terribly burdened.

As I spend about 10 minutes chatting with Misty, a person who looks like a wizard to anyone is beckoning me to come here.

“Teacher, I think you’re calling Eric?”

“Okay, I’ll be back.”

Even if you don’t say anything, you’re flapping your hands diligently. Anyone can see that.

I didn’t bother to point out the words, I passed them over lightly.

And start walking towards the wizard.

A woman with dark circles wearing a ridiculous, jester-like cone hat and holding a staff with a round bead.

Wizards usually have a bent back, and looking at the back bent at the turtle neck, they look like people who have been sitting all day.

“Eric, Breslau, you said… Ugh, you’re moving… To my undergraduate school today.. Is that right..?”

“Yes, that’s right.”

I thought it would be a normal conversation where the teacher asked my name, introduced himself, and told me what to do next, but the first thing I heard was quite embarrassing.

“Take off your clothes first..”

“…Yes?”

“Ah, just take off your top. Shouldn’t you know how much magic you have?

If you don’t have anything, you have to work hard to melt metal.”

At those words, I took off the school uniform I was wearing above, folded it neatly, and threw it on the floor.

Then the teacher puts his bare hand, dry and cold enough to feel rough, on my stomach.

Blue flames shimmered on her hand and began to enter me.

Somehow, the feeling of earthworms wriggling all over my body made me feel uncomfortable.

“Hmm, it’s halfway… That much, and it’s a waste to just melt away scrap metal…”

And from the feeling of crawling, a sharp pain as if thorns were rising all over the body.

“Student, can you bear it? I think it will hurt a little if the amount of magic power is small, heh.

Isn’t it? It’s pretty good, though.”

“…… Well.”

After those words, the feeling of crawling inside my body disappeared in an instant.

And on top of the wizard’s hand was a piece of paper that seemed to have been made from dried leather.

She looks at it carefully and tells me.

“There are roughly 3 choices..Losing um..

Well, unless you want to be a black, fire-breathing idiot..”

The teacher floats something in the air, just like Julieta showed me the other day.

“One, like me. And Misty standing behind you, oh, a great student. hehehe.”

The teacher frantically lists various words.

It’s like spitting out thoughts without being able to organize them in your head.

“Yes, to become a wizard like Misty. Well, it’s all about lighting fires, blowing wind, manipulating water, and shaking the ground.”

Something in the air showed fire, wind, water, and soil moving wildly, as if showing a video for reference.

“You’ll never do anything like this, with your pitiful amount of magical power.

Well, I don’t know, and the feeling is incredibly neat.”

Then he caught a small mouse in an instant with a net made of water balls from somewhere, and blew off a leg with a stone block.

The rat twists and squeaks as if in pain, and at the end of the fuss, it pretends to faint, as if it were trying to pretend to be dead.

Then the teacher created a pure white light and reattached the legs of the rat that had been blown away.

Let’s throw the mouse away as if it’s dirty, and it squeaks and runs away.

“The second one is a healer. If this is it, you can do it.. Fu, it’s tiring.

Well, look.. You see.. It cures.. Things that are alive. An ignorant way of stealing the appropriately floating divine power… And putting it in.

As a result, the efficiency is significantly lower than that of the priests.

Well, there are very few priests or healing arts… so it’s not bad, but.”

Then he floats a block of stone in the air, makes the hard-looking stone limp like water, and twists the shape around like clay.

It eventually began to change into the shape of a sword.

“And this is alchemy.

Well, back in the day, it was just an attempt to turn scrap metal into gold.

Usually, if you learn this, you will work with the blacksmith all day and make weapons.

Some say they make drugs, but I don’t know anything about that.”

I made a sharp, rapier-like object and threw it back.

The blade then turns into powder and begins to scatter.

“Anyway, the reason for giving the choice is simple.

You’re too halfway.

I don’t have enough magical power to be a wizard, it doesn’t seem like it suits me to the point of being a bit harsh to use holy power, and it’s a waste to learn alchemy and sharpen weapons.

At the least, it’s quite neat magic…”

I didn’t know it had magical powers.

However, I didn’t really want to become a wizard.

So after thinking about it for a while, let’s try to open our mouths….

“Even though the quality is good, maybe not many people recognize it because the quantity is small.

No, the choice is one! Learn the magic I’m a little curious.”

The option disappeared.

“Well, today is the day to let the kids fight each other, so there’s nothing to do..

Because Misty and I seem to be close friends, the wagon rides just the two of us.

What I say to the students…Um, um, ok, I do it in the classroom when I do theory lessons.”

The teacher disappears the moment he says so.

Then, when I looked up at the sky where I could feel the wind pressure, I saw that I was flying in the sky with my long skirt fluttering.

When I looked around the wagon, all the students were gathered.

And then Misty comes to me smiling.

“What did you and the teacher talk about?”

“Just, what to learn in the future, things like that.

And the carriage said to ride with you.”

“So, what did you decide to learn?”

A little expectant face.

And when he answered that it was magic, Misty’s face brightened.

“Ah..From now on, I will help you with everything!

No matter what happens, even if it’s difficult, even if it’s impossible, I’ll try my best!

If it doesn’t work, well. We need to take them to a safe and comfortable place.”

Misty’s eyes twinkled.

Feeling a little goosebumps, I nodded to her and headed for the carriage.
