Chap 3: The Deputy Leader Is Skilled at Handling Things

“Hey Kuro, I was thinking we were exploring today. What do you say?”

A few minutes later, a girl with delicate, silky golden hair came over to me and said that.

This girl is Lulsiera, the beautiful older sister who holds the position of vice leader. Since I usually don’t give orders, my role as a leader is almost nonexistent. Well, even if I, an ugly guy like me, were to give orders, it would only annoy them.

“Dungeon, huh?”

“Hmm, lying face down on the desk… Weren’t you not very enthusiastic?”

“My motivation… Well, it’s not there. If we’re going, it’s probably going to be to the Goblin Nest, the lair of the little demons.”

“Right on.”

“I don’t dislike going to the dungeon. The problem is the location.”

[Goblin Nest]

As the name suggests, it’s a dungeon filled with goblins. I used to think that goblins were weak monsters that could be easily defeated. However, in this other world, they seem to be relatively strong.

Compared to other monsters, goblins have superior intelligence and can launch planned attacks, making them quite troublesome. Furthermore, some goblins can use magic.

One thing not to forget is that they’re a bunch of horny creatures. Goblins are mostly male, so I’ve heard about cases where they kidnap women from time to time.

Also, they’re so noisy and annoying. If we’re going to fight, I’d rather take on a cool dragon or something.

“I heard that there’s some rare item hidden in that Goblin nest. Doesn’t that excite you?” Lulsiera asked.

I reacted to her words while lying face down on the desk.

“Certainly, that’s a credible story,” I said, sitting up.

Goblins are intelligent creatures, and they might be stealing treasures from adventurers and hiding them in their lair. There might even be rare items among them.

I like treasures. Why? Because just having them makes me look cool. As an unattractive person, I can only cover it up from the outside.

“How about this then? Here’s one more push: If you join me in this dungeon raid, I’ll attend the next guild meeting in your place,” Lulsiera offered.

“Alright, I’m in,” I replied, feeling motivated.

After hearing those words whispered in my ear, I jumped up and decided to head to the dungeon.

“So, Kuro will participate in the dungeon raid. But I’m worried about him going alone. Lulsiera said.

“I’m not that weak, you know? Besides, now that I think about it, someone else could have joined this dungeon, right?” I retorted.

“Who wants to accompany him~?” Lulsiera asked, glancing at the other members. Was it my imagination, or was she intentionally speaking loudly?

To my surprise, everyone raised their hands at once at Lulsiera’s call.
