Ancient Vampire in a Modern World

There was nothing she could do, as she watched the arrow go past her and go towards Keiji. But what she saw next was unbelievable. 

And with a gawking expression, she watched as Keiji raised and moved his sword that collided with every tip of the arrow. Then Keiji pushed it back as the arrow lost its momentum and fell to the ground.

As this was happening the group didn't just watch them parry arrows, and instead, they started attacking them from every direction with the lead of the man who just appeared in front of them out of nowhere. The man was very fast and as Keiji was parrying the arrow, he rushed forward as he pulled out the blades behind his back. 

The man then used both of his blades to slash Keiji in pieces and as he just swung his sword, Keiji turned around and parried both of his blades using only one sword. The attack of that man was so fast that only Mia could see. But even Mia who was currently the strongest by far could not completely see the sword as it was blurry due to the speed of how it was swung. 

Then as Mia worriedly looked at Keiji she couldn't help but feel nervous. Her emotions aroused once again and it was the same as her strength. 

Elizer was the leader of the group and he was the man who wielded dual blades and the man who made the lead on attacking them. He started to attack using his dual blade but to his surprise, Keiji was able to parry all of his attacks. 

The group that were watching were surprised although they didn't plan anything beforehand, they already knew what they were going to do. And they planned to let their leader, who was the strongest in the group, attack the weakest and nine of them would attack the other strongest so that after their leader was done dealing with the weakest man in the group, he can join the fight and help them because they already knew that their leader was enough to deal with that man alone. Then the other remaining in the group would help if needed and the remaining would wait from afar so that they could deal with the enemy if they tried to run. 

Their plan was perfect but when they thought that Keiji was the weakest among their enemy was their biggest mistake. They would never expect him to be on par with their leader which is why that was their plan and it was also the thought of their leader. Their leader was so strong that even their whole group of 25 members could not defeat him which is why they trust him very much.

But they were dumbfounded as they saw how their leader and Keiji fought. They are fighting like they have the same strength. They could not even see their movements and only heard the sound of metal colliding with each other.

Mia was also stunned while watching Keiji and Elizer fight. She could only see the blue lines that were continuously increasing. This was the afterimage of the moonlight that was reflected on their swords. It seems like they were drawing some lines and as the battle went on the blue lines kept increasing. 

In the forest, only the sound of metal colliding with each other could be heard and the group surrounding Keiji and Elizer stopped from moving and only gaped at the sight. Even Mia was not an exception; she was looking at Keiji with conflicted emotions. The way she looked at Keiji right now was very different from before. Right now her admiration rose up to the peak, she couldn't even help but wonder if Keiji was really at the same age as her. Keiji might already be old and just used an age-reversing ability to look like a young man.

It was highly possible as only those who have a very strong innate ability could reach that age. And as she was the best friend of Klyzer who was one of those, she knew that even Klyzer may have had a hard time facing Keiji. 

Her thoughts may have shocked most of the entire group when she thought that Klyzer would only have a hard time instead of being defeated. Mia's thoughts were understandable, as she knew how powerful Klyzer is, as Klyzer was one of those who have rare and strong abilities. 

Her nervousness gradually fell down when she saw how Keiji could keep up with the leader but because of her admiration, her emotions were still on the rise and so was her strength. 

And as time passed by Keiji and Elizer's battle gradually speed up and their movements already formed an afterimage that made the entire group left in awe. They are strong themselves as they were already at the peak of the low-level realm and their vision also improved as their strength and it was not normal for them to see an afterimage. 

A normal person would see an afterimage if they looked at the blades of an electric fan if it was turned on but for them, it was the same as moving slowly. But right now their vision, which had already been improved, was seeing after the image of a person who was fighting. 

Their leader was already at a mid-level realm which is why they are confident when facing the enemy. But they would never have thought that their enemy would also be in the mid-level realm. They're superior planned to dispatch only those in the low-level realm but their leader was worried because he had never experienced Stan to request for reinforcements that were more than 20 super high-level ranked people which was new to him.

So he made his decision to be cautious for the time being and dispatched more than he usually does. This is why he let a person in the mid-level realm to be in the group of reinforcements. 

As time passed by, the battle continued and its speed was no longer a joke as it caused the surrounding to be destroyed by the force that was caused by the battle.

The winds rippled as the blades kept cleaving the surroundings. The ground that was full of grass before was now devoid of it and only the brown soil could be seen and some trees were already cut down.

Mia and the others distance themselves as they watch the battle. The group was also the same and they were scared getting into the fight as they could feel the intensity of the battle. Their previous formation was also disrupted as they distanced themselves from Keiji and Elizer who were still exchanging attacks. 

Elizer was getting excited and riled up as he fought with Keiji, this was his first time fighting someone in a death battle with the same realm as him. He had fought with someone in the mid-level realm before but it was not serious because it was their trainer and master. This was provided by their organization which is why he joined it. And although it was a fight with the same realm it was only a one-sided fight because their master's strength was higher than them. And if they fought a death battle he would not even last.

But at the same time, he was curious when he saw Keiji's weapon. He had already seen it and it was a weapon provided by their organization for its members. And its quality depends on the rank of the member. And he knew that the sword that his enemy was using was only a level above normal weapons while his weapon that was provided by their organizations had much higher quality and the damage output would also be higher. 

So at first, he thought that Keiji's weapon would break after exchanging with his sword but unexpectedly it did not even damage the sword that Keiji was using. 

But he didn't have time to think about the answer as the fight became more intense. Their movements already caused the surroundings to shatter into pieces; they also moved back and forth as they exchanged their attacks.
