Ancient Vampire in a Modern World

"Ok, now let's not wait for any further there are still 8 rounds left, so let's pick another team who will participate." the host said and snapped his finger before all the lights in the area dimmed and the same familiar thing happened: the light rotated around the walls of the Colosseum.

The battle goes on and 5 teams have already been defeated. The lights are still currently rotating and the whole audience is waiting if there are any more surprises that will happen. After the first battle, there were no more exceptional battles that happened. It seems the first round was carefully picked by the host of the tournament so that the audience would have the reason to stay.

"It seems that the first round is just a performance"

"They are really good at stage play if that was the truth"

"The battle gets boring after the first round and it seems that there will be no more fight that can catch our eye"

"Let's leave after this round the price of every round is so f*ck*ng high and only this measly swordplay we are going to watch,"

The light then stopped at one of the remaining teams.

"Ok we have our first team, and I hope you already know who they are," the host said.

"DEATH GANG!! DEATH GANG!! DEATH GANG!!"

Roars resound around the whole Colosseum as the audience shouted at the top of their lungs.

"Ok ok calm down audience, let us move to our next contender first," after the host said that the lights rotated again and spin until it stopped at Keiji's team.

"Ok, now let's welcome the new Rusty team," the host said as he pointed towards Keiji's team.

"Ok, so as you all know their previous members have already ascended higher than diamond rank and join the upper levels so they recruit a new member, so let us welcome the Rusty team with their new member," the host said. 

The audience roared again as they cheered for the Rusty team which was previously known for their old leader which had a perfect winning streak but left just a week ago. 

"What do you think about their new member?" 

"he looks weak."

"See his frail body…"

"What do you think that body can exert." 

"This will be another boring match, such luck.."

"As I said we would leave later on after this match and wait just wait for tomorrow so that it might be interesting."

The audience chatted among themselves while some high-level users who have appraisal skills were shocked. 

"Wait looked, his status is of that level 18 while he was still at level 15 and he has no skill at that."

"Really!?"

"If you don't believe me check his status."

The man started using his appraisal skill to inspect Keiji and can't help but also be curious. 

"Your right! how can he have that status when he was just level fifteen."

"Maybe he found some kind of treasure that would raise his stats."

"Maybe, but even though his stats were high he is still weak compared to the other and he doesn't even have a single skill."

"Ok, ok let's not wait any further and let's start the match now, players you can now enter the capsule," the host said.

Keiji entered the capsule and he instantly found himself inside the arena. 

Keiji wore his newly bought leather armor. And his weapon was on his waist.

"Wait is that man for real?'

" Is he for real?

"Why would someone use foil in a team match battle? Is he insane?"

"The f.ck is that clown doing there?"

"Wtf happened to my favorite team? Why did they let a clown join them?"

Questions filled the audience as they kept watching what will unfold in their eyes. Even those high-level players were curious about how someone fights with a foil.

It is very rare these days to find someone using foil because professions or classes that have foil as their main weapon was so rare but the man they were watching didn't even have a class yet.

"They are just bullshitting"

"Sh.t I even thought that there will be another good show look at the other team they have two diamond ranks and two gold while this team have one diamond, two gold and even have a f.ck.ng bronze"

"QUIET, ok let us now prepare for the battle, the battle will start after I said go, in 3 2 1, GO," the host said and the battle instantly started after that.

The team Death Gang were composed of two diamond ranking members and two gold ranking members. The two diamond ranking members were a swordsman and an assassin while the other two members which have gold rank were a Knight and a mage. 

Both teams rushed forward and clashed in the middle. Rufus and Ralph were the ones leading the attack while Keiji was a little on the back and in his back are where the archer.

On the other side the Knight was leading and at his side was the swordsman and the mage was at the back not far away with him while the assassin was nowhere to be seen. 

Ralph and the knight clashed with their swords. But Ralph was gaining the advantage at that exchange.

Meanwhile, before Rufus clashed with the swordsman he already used his will of fate which is level four.

His speed and strength rose and he got faster than before and he was able to have the same pace as Ralph. The swordsman was clearly faster and already swung his sword to him. 

Rufus rotated his body and slammed his war hammer downward, the swordsman stepped back to dodge it but he got distracted by the rubbles that broke after that attack. Rufus then jumped and swung his war hammer towards the knight that was fighting with Ralph. 

The knight sensed it but he can't dodge it in time and he just decided to use all his skills. He slashed his sword towards Ralph and an air blade appeared in the way of the slash that travelled towards Ralph. Ralph jumped sideways to dodge the attack. 

As the war hammer kept attacking the knight Rufus sensed danger at his sides and saw that on the other side Keiji jumped towards him while pointing his weapon.

The audience was stunned when they saw Keiji suddenly jump and pointed the foil towards Rufus and it was as if he would kill Rufus like it was the right thing to do. Even the high levelled ones were also confused by Keiji's action but some very high levelled ones have noticed the reason which they found unbelievable that Keiji can see it.

Rufus slid his body sideways to dodge Keiji and Keiji's weapon went past him. He was confused as hell but he didn't stop the descent of his war hammer. 

But his confusion soon became impressed when blood drops on the ground as the assassin kept jumping backwards.

'What the hell? How can that man notice my presence? I thought he didn't have a skill.' he thought as he looked at Keiji who was running back. 

'What the fuck why is he running back?' He shouted in his mind as he couldn't explain why Keiji would do that.

**Baaanngggh!!!**

Loud sounds rang as the battle went on. Rufus' war hammer was stopped by the sword of the swordsman. The knight also helped not long after. They were pushed back a little but then the swordsman immediately turned around and parried the incoming weapon of Keiji by raising his sword.

Keiji was impressed by the reaction of the swordsman and smiled. But then he jumped again and ran like he was running for his life.

The audience was speechless at Keiji's action; it was like he was doing something really ridiculous.

"HAHA...HAHA...that man is really a joke."

"He's really a clown."

"My pay is worth it after all"

But that was not what the high levelled players thought. They didn't even notice when does the assasin at first but then they also didn't notice when does the swordsman appeared but then when they looked at the swordsman someone was already aiming for him and it was the clown who just ran away after attacking the assassin.

After there was enough space between both the opponent's team it was now time for the mage to attack.
