Chapter 82: The wonderful mouth brings forth the lotus and says that Taiwan is auspicious (Part )
After listening to Sharpa Hutuktu's lecture, Suletan was completely convinced and determined to convert to Sakya. However, he still had concerns and said to the great monk: "Master, I want to convert to the Sakya sect, but the surrounding tribes all believe in Gelug. It is not appropriate to publicize it, so as not to provoke siege from various tribes. Please accept me as a disciple secretly." ?”

Sherpa Hutuktu was overjoyed. This trip to Oirat finally paid off. The Huite tribe is now a strong Oirat tribe. Although the fact of accepting their Da Taiji as a disciple cannot be made public, after all, it is for the sake of the sect and Lin Dan. The Khan gathered a large number of strong reinforcements.

Immediately he said with a smile: "Amitabha, I have a destiny with Dadaiji, so I will initiate Dadaiji today." You have to accept a disciple as early as possible. If it is too late, you will be afraid that the disciple will regret it. The great monk knows this very well.

Initiation is one of the important rituals of Tantric Buddhism. It is said to be related to the tradition of the Indian royal family. The Indian master must undergo initiation to determine his status in the royal family. Tantra practitioners can only officially enter the Tantra after taking refuge and receiving initiation.

This ceremony is very important. All living beings have Buddha nature. When Sakyamuni Buddha attained enlightenment, he said: "How wonderful! How wonderful! All living beings possess the wisdom and virtue of the Tathagata, but they cannot achieve it because of delusional thinking and persistence." This kind of Buddha-nature is called "Tathagatagarbha", and the wonderful function of initiation is to develop the Buddha-nature and guide ordinary people to reach the other side of liberation.

There are many types of initiations, generally divided into bonding initiations and transmission initiations. What the great monk gave to Suletan was the bonding initiation, which is specially given to beginners, also known as "Treasure Vase Initiation".

Suletan took a bath seriously, dressed solemnly, and knelt solemnly in front of a black mandala. Sherpa Hutuktu came slowly holding a vase containing holy water. This ritual must be performed by a vajra master, and the great monk Sharpa naturally has this qualification. He slowly sprinkled the holy water on Sultan's head, and then used a "wombala" (a bowl made of human skulls) to hold green wine for Sultan to drink.

The young Dadaiji made an oath to the kindly monk: "I swear to practice secret Dharma and never tell it to outsiders, otherwise I will be punished by the Buddha." After the ceremony was completed, under the guidance of the guru, he was taught how to draw the deity and the mandala (i.e. mandala) according to his own situation (root capacity), and began to practice facing the Buddha statue.

Since then, there has been one less young man from the Gelug sect, Suletan, and one more young man from the Sakya sect, Suletan.

After you become a master, you must show your respect to the master. He decided to build a temple for the Master, donated one hundred households of his subjects to serve as temple sabinars, and donated a number of cattle, sheep, and horses. However, this temple cannot be built in Oirat to avoid causing dissatisfaction among other tribes.

He thought of the newly conquered places of Turpan and Hami. These places all believe in Islam. If Buddhism can be spread, it will also be a constraint on the power of Islam. Especially the Halahui tribe in Hami, who are originally Mongolians and have the same roots and species as Junggar and Durbot, so I have always been worried about them. If they believe in Sakya, there will be a gap between them and Junggar and Dulbert who believe in Gelug, making it easier to control."

Thinking of this, he clasped his hands together and bowed to Sharpa Hutuktu: "Master, I want to build a temple for you in Hami, and I will dedicate 100 sabinar households and divide the pasture as a gathering place for the temple. , and also offered 300 cows, 500 horses, and 3,000 sheep. I just ask you not to claim that I did it, only that it was a donation from believers. When the time is right, I will announce my conversion to Sakya."

"Amitabha", the great monk pronounced the Buddha's name, which meant tacit approval.

Sultan also secretly gave orders to the magistrates of Hami and Turpan to support the great monks in preaching. He also secretly wrote a letter to Taiji Abba Huo, the Hala Hui tribe of Hami, asking his tribe to convert to Sakya. Although he granted the official position of "Zai Sang", the fire master of Aba, and allowed him to inherit the throne, he did not trust him. This time is a test. If he refuses, he will send troops to attack him.

Abba Fireman agreed obediently. Originally they believed in Gelug, but later King Hami asked them to convert to Huihui, so they believed in Huihui. Now Dadaiji told him to believe in Sakya, so just follow his orders. For small tribes, survival is the most important thing, and it doesn't matter whether they believe in something or not.

Seeing that everything went well, Suletan secretly breathed a sigh of relief. The next step is to give Lin Dan Khan a certain amount of support and show goodwill to the Chahar tribe in order to obtain Mongolia's three magic weapons in the future: the Jade Seal of the Kingdom, the Mahagara Golden Buddha, and the gold "Ganyur". Of course, There is also a more important treasure: Chahar's subjects. In his eyes, subjects are more important treasures than jade seals.

He summoned Nanchu and others and said with a smile: "Please go back and report to the Great Khan. I only obey the direct descendants of Genghis Khan. The Huite tribe will always be the loyal subjects of the Great Khan." "Thank you Dadaiji." Nan Chu respectfully expressed his gratitude, but was not moved. As the nominal leader of all Mongolia, there were many tribes claiming to be loyal to Lin Dan Khan, but the actual assistance was very little, and he was a little numb.

"Ahem", perhaps because he felt that he was not sincere, Suletan coughed and said slowly: "I have a small gift to give to the Khan: fifty thousand catties of grain, one thousand cattle, and one thousand horses. , six thousand sheep, a hundred fire guns, three hundred knives, three hundred bows and arrows, two thousand spears, and a hundred pieces of armor.”

At first Nanchu didn't take it seriously, but as he listened, his eyes widened and he swallowed hard, "Oh, thank you Dadaiji! You are a help in times of need! Dahan will definitely not forget your help! "

Indeed, Lin Dan Khan is now at the end of his rope, and these supplies are enough to allow the Chahar tribe to breathe a sigh of relief.

"Amitabha, Dadaiji, and I are also going back to Qinghai. Now the Great Khan is in danger. As a national advisor, we must stay with the Great Khan," Sharpa Hutuktu said loudly. On the surface, this sounds like love and righteousness, but in fact, he is afraid that Nanchu will take away his lead. After all, Lin Dan Khan was the Great Khan of Mongolia and was still more important than Sultan in the heart of the great monk.

Sultan was moved. His master was a man of friendship and responsibility! But why do some history books say that he surrendered to the Manchu Qing Dynasty with golden Buddhist scriptures after the defeat of Lin Dan Khan?
He asked: "Master, if you leave, who will preach the Dharma in Oirat? Who will lecture the disciples?"

"Amitabha, Bandida Gushi and Ananda Gushi are both talented and can stay in Oirat to spread the Dharma." The great monk recommended the two sages.

Sultan was overjoyed. He knew that these two were famous scholars and talents in Chahar, so he immediately awarded Bandida Gushi, Yuheng, Qing Lisi Langzhong, and Ananda Gushi the supervisory censor.

Salba Hutuktu, Nanchu and others embarked on the journey back to Dacaotan, and Lin Danhan was eagerly waiting for their news.

Sultan personally sent him thirty miles away to show his respect for his master.

The great monk was very moved and said a Zen saying, "Amitabha, Dadaiji, please come back. As spring passes and autumn comes, we will eventually have a destiny."

"Master", Suletan suddenly approached him and whispered: "If the Great Khan cannot resist the attack of the Jin Kingdom, please persuade the Great Khan to come to Oirat. I will sweep the bed to welcome the Great Khan and you!"

Salba Hutuktu was stunned for a moment, and finally nodded slowly.
