Taoist Myth: I am the last true immortal in the world

Chapter 55: Thousands of books are falsely passed down, but one sentence is really passed down

Chapter 55: Pretending to pass on thousands of books, but really passing on one sentence
Talisman Making Hall, outside.

As soon as Chen Yun left, Uncle Zheng Wen arrived with his hind legs.

Uncle Zheng Wen asked: "I was just passing by and heard that Junior Brother Chen asked you about the talisman?"

"Teacher." Cai Rujin saluted, "Uncle Chen just now..."

He told what happened in detail.

After listening, Uncle Zheng Wen lowered his head and pondered for a while, then said casually, "Prepare the talismans he mentioned for Junior Brother Chen, prepare two to three copies of each type."

Cai Rujin didn't quite understand and said, "Uncle Chen said he wanted to make it himself. Wouldn't it be good for me to do it for him?"

Zheng Wenshu said with a smile: "It has been a month or two since my mentor took Junior Brother Chen into the door, and he has not yet refined his true Qi. I think what my mentor taught was not the art, but the real Dafa. There are many differences between the art and the art. The art can be copied and practiced directly." However, one needs to understand the secrets of magic. I remember when Senior Brother Lu happened to meet Master Huo Long when he was 49 years old, and Master taught him the great method of "Tian Escape Sword Technique". Senior Brother Lu failed to understand the art of immortality after 14 years of understanding it, and later he was 63 years old. At that time, Senior Brother Lu was enlightened by my master and understood the "Nine True Jade Book", and his magical power became increasingly profound and he attained the Tao."

In Taoist mythology, immortals impart their skills very casually.

Some immortals need to test the character of the person being taught the power.

For example, Zhongli Quan tested Lu Dongbin ten times.

But some immortals are not like this. They think that you are pleasing to the eye, and when they are happy in their hearts, they may spread the Dafa.

For example, Huolong Zhenren's "Tian Escape Sword Technique" by Lu Dongbin.

Another example is that Zhao Gongming passed on Chen Yun's method of "accumulating and refining the body" because of chess.

This kind of thing seems absurd and unruly, but it happens from time to time.

Cai Rujin naturally knew it, but he knew that his teacher said that the focus of these deeds was not to teach Qigong.

Hearing this, he seemed to understand something, "Teacher, what you said means that Uncle Chen will not be able to comprehend the longevity technique and refine his true energy in a short time?"

"That's right." Uncle Zheng Wen shook his head and said, "Senior Brother Lu took 14 years to understand the secret of longevity. Although Junior Brother Chen is very talented, without three to five years of hard work, I'm afraid it will be difficult for him to comprehend the secret of longevity."

It's not that Uncle Zheng Wen looks down on Chen Yun.

On the contrary, these remarks are already "praising" Chen Yun.

Lu Dongbin, as the great master of alchemy, also spent 14 years to realize it. Uncle Zheng Wen said that Chen Yun could understand it in three to five years, which is indeed very underestimated.

Cai Rujin naturally understood this, and he immediately responded: "In that case, I will prepare the necessary talismans for Master Chen as soon as possible."

……

Inner courtyard, red building.

As soon as Chen Yun came back, he put himself under "house arrest" again and started thinking about "Song of the Righteous Way" again.

He sat in front of the window and pondered, "Who knew the mechanism of heaven, so that the sun and the moon would fly high? There would be no obstacles, no dragons and tigers, no black rabbits going to the east and west?"

Chen Yun can roughly understand the meaning of this sentence.

Kanli dragon and tiger are metaphors.

The birth of medicinal materials originally had no position.

Medicinal materials refer to the body’s own medicines.

The large medicine can replenish the five types of fatigue and seven injuries, strengthen the muscles and bones, relieve hunger, withstand cold and heat, benefit the spleen and stomach, and moisturize the heart and lungs.

"If we speculate based on the Taoist cultivation realm of 'refining and transforming qi', this great medicine should refer to the true energy refined from the innate. Only by refining can the so-called true energy be born."

Chen Yun thought hard, "It's just a product of medicinal materials. It has no position. What does it mean?"

He recalled the following mantras: "Not the liver, not the lungs, not the heart and kidneys, not the spleen, stomach, gallbladder, and essence. It's not thinking, thinking, or doing, and it's not in the upper and lower parts of the three fields. How can it be from Jiaji to Kunlun, not the essence, the body, and the qi?" Blood. It is not the spirit of the five internal organs of the bladder. This thing comes out of the human body."

The general meaning of this sentence is: the great medicine is not inside the body, but it is also inside the body, and it is not outside the body, but it is also outside the body, but it is born in the human body.

Up to this point, Chen Yun was still confused.

However, when he recited the next verse, he vaguely seemed to understand something.

The next mantra is: Summer, autumn and winter exist in the four seasons, and everyone knows the innate and the earth. The sum of the two objects weighs one kilogram, and each string is numbered by Hui Shuo. The cycle never stops day and night, take it according to the time and know the old and the young.

"The sum of two things weighs one pound?"

Chen Yun blinked, "If I'm not wrong, this sentence is the key point, and the next few verses are all in service of this sentence."

But which two things are these "two things"?

He knew that the answers should all be found in "Song of the Right Way".

Chen Yun thought about the previous formulas again.

Suddenly, his eyes lit up, "Who knew this mechanism of heaven would make the sun and the moon soar?"

The three treasures in the sky are the sun, moon and stars, and the three treasures in the human body are the heart, spleen and kidneys.

If I remember correctly, the sun and moon in the Alchemy Sutra often refer to the heart and kidneys.

But the next sentence is "There is no barrier between the dragon and the tiger, and there is no black rabbit separated from the east and the west", which seems to deny the idea of heart and kidney.

"Wait a minute! Why are you thinking so much? I all know that refining qi is to refine innate essence into qi. The question we need to figure out now is what to use to refine qi and how to store qi."

Chen Yun suddenly thought of a sentence: falsely pass on thousands of books, but truly pass on one sentence.

"Song of the Right Way to Break the Mystery" is a theory, more like a summary of cultivation experience, and naturally does not include methods.

It just doesn’t include the method of cultivation. It is Zhongliquan’s method after all, and the “true inheritance” is always mentioned.

And this "true biography" is exactly "two things combined weigh one pound".

Since it is refining essence and transforming it into qi, one of these two things must be essence.

One pound is a noun for inner alchemy, also known as 16, which is [-] taels. It is an ancient numeral for weight.

Taoist inner alchemy believes that when a person is born, he is endowed with 360 baht of energy from heaven and earth, which is the number of days in a week, plus 24 baht of energy from his parents, which adds up to 380 four baht.

It is consistent with the number of the Yixiang hexagram and the number of baht per pound.

Among the 380 four lines, the Yang Yao is 190 two and the Yin Yao is 190 two.

Therefore, inner alchemy believes that the yin and yang of the human body should be matched, just like water and fire, they must be equal.

"Yin and yang combine? The innate essence is stored in the kidneys. The kidneys are water and the heart is fire. When the kidneys, water, and heart fire interact with each other, great medicine is produced?" Chen Yun felt that he had guessed it right.

Heart fire is an illusory thing to mortals.

However, for practitioners, the inner fire rises with divine control.

The same is true for kidney water.

When the two combine, true Qi is born.

Isn't this "not in the body, but also in the body"?
As for heart fire refining true water, as long as the heat is reached, it is bound to be able to refine true energy.

Doesn't it correspond to "the cycle of day and night never stops, take it at the right time to know the old and the young"?

When the heat is just right, true Qi will be produced.

If the fire is shallow, the essence cannot be refined.

However, if the heart is full of fire, not to mention refining, it will also harm the body.

Therefore, refining requires the harmony of yin and yang, and the harmony of water and fire.

"If you figure out what two things are when they combine to make one pound, the next step will be much easier."

Chen Yun thought thoughtfully, "As for how to store the true energy, it is also said in "The Song of Pomi Zhengdao", 'Slowly blend into the Gen Palace and try to gently stir the secrets of heaven'."

Gen Zhe, the mountain, the so-called Jingding Zhenzhen, the medicine is not collected but self-collected, and it is all blended by Huang Po.

Huang Po is the term for inner elixir, referring to the spleen.

The spleen can nourish the remaining internal organs, which is called Huangpo.

Gen Palace refers to the middle palace.

However, there are two versions of Zhonggong.

One finger points to the middle Dantian below the heart and above the navel.

Sometimes the Lower Dantian is also called the Middle Palace because it resides in the human body.

Chen Yun believes that the Gen palace here refers to the middle Dantian.

Because it needs to be reconciled by Huang Po.

Huang Po is relatively close to Zhongdantian.

As long as Huang Po blends the true energy, there is no need to deliberately collect the medicine. The medicine will naturally be collected by the body and eventually hidden somewhere.

The middle palace is a place for refining medicine. If you want to "hide medicine", you have to go to Huangting.

"Song of the Righteous Way of Breaking the Mystery" has a clear statement: This is the method of combining water and metal, the true lead and true mercury crystal of heaven and earth. This is the golden elixir of fire, and it all depends on being in Huangting.

Chen Yun carefully studied "Song of the Righteous Way to Break the Mystery" for half a day, combined with the analysis of "techniques" such as building the foundation in a hundred days, refining grains and turning into essence, and finally determined that the cultivation techniques are: burning the body with real fire to refine real water, and self-collecting the true energy birth elixir.

……

Time passes day by day.

Six days have passed before I knew it.

During this period, Chen Yun focused on "refining true water with real fire" and read a large number of Taoist scriptures and medical books for reference, and gradually he got a clue.

At the same time, he finally understood why his mentor had been teaching him Taoist scriptures and medical skills. It turned out that all of these were closely related to cultivation. He had to say that his mentor had good intentions.

The basic steps have been set, and the core is still refining true water with divine fire.

Chen Yun tried every step on himself to ensure that there would be no problems in his practice.

On this day, it was raining lightly outside.

Chen Yun sat in front of the window as always, picked up paper and pen, and began to write his own immortality technique.

"Yin and Yang harmonize and descend into great medicine."

"Human beings are born due to the intercourse of father's sperm and mother's blood; body and shape are intertwined; the great medicine is caused by the intertwining of heart fire and kidney water, and the great medicine is descended, which is called qi intercourse."

"There are two orifices under the tongue, the left one opens the heart and the right one opens the gallbladder, and the true energy flows in to connect the gods. Therefore, if the body is uneasy, the fluid under the tongue will dry up and the true energy will be consumed. The first step in practicing is to close the two orifices with the tongue , so that the true energy does not leak out, so as to communicate with the divine water... The couple gradually conspires with each other. When the vitality flows, the yin and yang are harmonious, and the heart and kidneys are in harmony, so it is said that they gradually conspire..."

Not long after, Chen Yun filled the paper with the immortality technique he had learned.

After finalizing the first draft, he wrote the words "Chen Chong Yong Neidan Jue" on the top and signed it as Chen Pu.

Of course, this is still theory.

It should be a theory that suits you.

The reason why he was able to write the art of immortality so quickly was entirely because "Song of the Righteous Way to Break the Mystery" was based on experience.

Chen Yun did not use the "forward reasoning" of normal people's thinking, but "reverse reasoning" to cultivate the golden elixir and then calculate forward step by step.

This thinking is similar to a puzzle.

Pushing along is like putting puzzle pieces together in a messy way, allowing people to finally form a pattern.

Doing this is extremely mental-intensive and requires piecing it together piece by piece, which naturally consumes a lot of time.

Inverse reasoning is different. You know what the final pattern of the puzzle is, and then you can peel off the cocoons step by step, and you can naturally understand where each piece of the puzzle should be placed.

Because of this, it only took Chen Yun about six days to figure out this set of inner alchemy techniques.

Moreover, one of the core points of this inner alchemy technique is to imagine that you have cultivated the golden elixir.

Chen Yun didn't know what the golden elixir was.

He imagined that the golden elixir was an entity, an entity like dewdrops.

At the moment, I don’t know if the inner alchemy I’ve been thinking about will work.

He still needs to practice formally and let the true fire and true water interact to see if true energy can really be born.

After finishing writing, Chen Yun thought to himself: "Then give it a try. I hope the theory can work."

Writing this chapter cost me a lot of brain cells, and I also consulted a lot of information. Phew, I’m really tired. Can brothers give me some monthly tickets to encourage me?
