Chapter 6 The Bronze Age

Chapter 6 The Bronze Age
In the human world, the daughter of the goddess of fertility Demeter, the valley where Persephone is located.

Persephone's heart was beating wildly suddenly, and a severe pain enveloped her, which was the coldness of the knife cutting through the flesh and the burning sensation of the flame.

The inexplicable connection between mother and son told her that her son had died.

She looked in the direction of Mount Olympus with a sad and desperate expression.

"Your son is dead."

"Dismembered, cooked, and devoured by the giant sons of Ouranos."

In the shadow of the valley, Hades, the brother of Zeus and ruler of the underworld, came uninvited.

"Why is it my son, not someone else's son or daughter." Persephone's plain words contained resentment and puzzlement.

"It was his fate, he was born with such a calamity."

"It won't be reborn until thousands of years later."

Persephone repeated: "Then why must it be my son and not someone else's son or daughter."

"You seem angry?" Hades thought things were getting interesting.

"There is nothing you can do, even your mother Demeter."

"Because behind it is the game between the sky god Uranus and the earth goddess Gaia."

"Gaia saw everything early and let Demeter hide you."

"Uranus used a prophecy to guide Zeus to swallow Metis, the goddess of wisdom, but he still found you."

Persephone sneered: "What about you? The Olympian gods, bedbugs surviving in the cracks?"

Hades: "You are wrong. The Olympus pantheon is not some kind of bug that survives in the cracks."

"It's a three-way game."

Persephone sneered even more cheerfully, and there was sadness and madness in her beautiful eyes at the same time.

"Three parties? What are you doing!"

Hades replied calmly: "It's because there is no room for reconciliation between Uranus and Gaia, and because there are six great gods instead of two."

The valley was silent.

Persephone knew that Hades was right, and because of this, she couldn't see the day when Olympus was lost, and her whole body seemed to be taken out of energy in an instant.

After a long time, she began to slowly untie her robe, and said in a self-defeating manner.

"Am I going to have a son or a daughter for you too?"

"Then come."

Hades stopped her, and Persephone, who had only moderate divine power from the death pressure of the underworld, could not move.

"Don't get me wrong, I'm not interested in sex."

"It's just that the underworld is barren and lacks vitality. I want to build it."

"You are the daughter of Demeter, and you have inherited her power of fertility. You are an important part of my construction of the underworld."

Persephone was taken aback for a moment, and then said with deep meaning: "You can't take me away, the underworld is already huge, and no one would expect it to develop well."

In the shadows, the earth split open, and four black horses pulled a chariot and appeared beside Hades.

Touching the mane of the steed, Hades said.

"You don't seem to believe in my power."

"You were born too late, and you may not know it."

"The reason why I am the master of the underworld and not the king of the gods is that I lost to my younger brother Zeus in the lottery due to lack of luck."

"I don't want to get involved in your son's grievances, that's your business."

"Like Zeus and Hera, I will share with you the right to be the master of the underworld, and you will become a powerful god."

"You decide how to solve your son's matter."

Persephone hesitated. She really knew very little about the secrets of these ancient times.

But she was persuaded by Hades.

So she said again: "Master, please allow me to say goodbye to my mother Demeter, otherwise she will be worried."

Hades has already boarded the chariot, his expression is cold, and his tone is strong: "That's your business."

Speaking of urging the chariot, the four black horses galloped wildly.

"dominate?!!"

The earth split open, and Hades easily picked up the future Queen of Hades and disappeared into the dark kingdom of death.

Only two people saw this incident.

One is Helios, the new sun god who drives a sun chariot in the sky to patrol. He only sees the process, but does not know the whole picture, and he dare not take care of Hades, the ruler of the underworld.

The other person is Hephaestus who sits on the highest point of Lemnos Island and holds a history book.

at the same time.

On the earth, Leto, the goddess of nurturing authority, is suffering.

She is the daughter of Coos, the god of the galaxy, and Phoebe, the goddess of oracle, and the sixth wife of Zeus, the king of gods.

Leto had a feud with Hephaestus' mother, Hera, and was about to give birth. Hera, who became the queen of heaven, forbade the gods to provide her with a place to give birth.

The gods who covered almost all the authority in the world gave the queen Hera a lot of face, and Leto had nowhere to go.

The father and mother who could have provided her with shelter have been locked into the bottomless abyss.

She can only wander around and hide on the ground, behind the big snake Pitong sent by Hera to chase and supervise.

Even wearing a veil, it is difficult to hide the pain from the bottom of my heart.

If Zeus does not come, she can only endure one day.

In the end, it was Leto's younger sister, the meteor goddess Asteria, who couldn't stand it anymore.

She took Leto to escape from the hunt of the big snake Pitong and came to the sea, attracting a meteor from outside the sky and turning it into an island, so that Leto was able to give birth.

On the island, with the help of his sister, the meteor goddess Asteria, Leto gave birth to a daughter named Artemis.

The girl grew up very quickly, and in nine days, she already looked like a young girl.

On the ninth day, Artemis and Asteria, the goddess of meteors, midwifeed Leto and gave birth to a boy.

Leto named him Apollo.

The four live on this floating island.

Leto also promised his sister Asteria: "In the future, this floating island will definitely build the largest temple in the world to commemorate our friendship."

The snake skin completed the mission Hera entrusted to it, and went back to Mount Olympus.

Lemnos Island, looking at the illustrations in the history books, Hephaestus muttered to himself.

"Is this Apollo? The person who will be in charge of music and art in the future?"

"The upper god of Aglaia."

"Should I create an artifact related to music and let people compete with him?"

"Or, should I do it myself?"

Hephaestus frowned. He stood up and looked at the world with the history book in his hand.

For the gods, there is a lot of time, but time is very slow, and two or three years are just a nap.

It is different for the human beings who worked in the Silver Age. They are deeply aware of the power of time. In just two or three years, their number has doubled again.

Often on a vast piece of land, there are only a small group of people farming and hunting, and most of them don't even have a talking partner.

Hephaestus closed the history books: "Is the Bronze Age coming?"
