Chapter 5 Athena, Persephone and Zagreus

Chapter 5 Athena, Persephone and Zagreus

Over Lemnos Island, thunderclouds gathered all over the sky, and thunderbolts exploded.

Across the space, Zeus, the king of gods, Hera, the queen of heaven, and Aphrodite, the god of beauty, descended on the Vulcan temple in the center of the island.

Hephaestus had been waiting for a long time, and the three people showed their true form from the space, and he bowed to salute.

"I have seen the king of gods, queen of heaven."

Seeing this, Hera nodded with satisfaction.

"It seems that you have already prepared."

"My boy, you are doing very well."

"I like your gift too."

Hephaestus smiled and said, "Mother, as long as you like it."

Zeus didn't speak from the side, and looked at Hephaestus carefully.

The cloak woven by the thread of fate can hide the appearance, but it cannot hide the powerful power of Hephaestus.

This child is already a god of the same level as him!

Zeus was very satisfied. After all, Hephaestus was destined to be the god of Olympus and would not be his enemy.

He had a kind face, but his tone could not be refused: "You are very good, Hephaestus."

"Presumably you already know the vows I made on the wedding day."

"Now I officially confer on you as one of the twelve main gods, Vulcan!"

"Aphrodite, goddess of beauty, is your wife."

Aphrodite, the god of beauty who had been expressionless, stood up after hearing the words.

She had only seen the ugly appearance of Hephaestus once in the temple, and she dared not look at it again.

This marriage was not satisfactory to her, but it was the common will of God King Zeus and Queen Hera.

Unless she doesn't want to stay in Mount Olympus anymore, and is willing to give up the position of God of Beauty, one of the twelve main gods of Mount Olympus.

But it doesn't matter, marriage is just a process for her, not a bondage.

It's just the status of a wife, I'm willing.

Hephaestus had already prepared.

He looked at his mother, Hera, who was in charge of marriage authority. As long as any marriage was witnessed by her, it would become eternal, and the death of one party could not be terminated.

No matter how simple the ceremony of marriage is.

As long as Hephaestus has the willingness to approve the words of the god king Zeus, this marriage is considered to have been witnessed by her.

Good thing...

All my appearances are false!
The name is false, the will is false, even the appearance is false.

It is my cloak that is marrying you, it has nothing to do with me, Hephaestus!

He firmly replied: "Thank you God King for your gift."

After the words fell, an invisible connection was established. The queen Hera witnessed that the cloaks of Aphrodite and Hephaestus, the goddess of beauty, will be husband and wife from now on.

God King Zeus nodded in satisfaction, he waved his hand, and Aphrodite, who had completed the witness ceremony, turned into rainbow light and returned to Mount Olympus.

"Hephaestus, I came here on a special trip, but there is actually one more thing."

"I want you to help me give birth to my daughter from Metis, the goddess of wisdom."

"She was conceived in my mind."

"Arguing to come out."

Hephaestus widened his eyes when he heard the words: "Your Majesty the God King, I don't have the power to control fertility!"

Hera took over the quarrel and answered it aside.

"I don't want you to deliver the baby."

"Zeus' mind is like a cage, trapping the daughter of Metis."

"You are responsible for releasing her."

Hephaestus swallowed his saliva: "Using an axe?"

"Just use an axe," Zeus said affirmatively.

"You often forge artifacts, so you must have experience to grasp the strength."

Hephaestus: "This method would dilute your authority."

"Have you really decided?"

Zeus: "I inherit the wisdom and authority of her mother Metis."

"Now it's just giving it back to her."

"It can be regarded as returning to the original owner."

Hephaestus stopped asking, he took a breath, and an ax appeared in his hand.

After getting the affirmative look from Zeus, he swung his ax vigorously on his head.

The force of the ax was just right, and Zeus' forehead was split open.

Accompanied by the rainbow, a beautiful goddess in battle armor flew out as a ray of light.

She seemed to be only twenty years old, with medium divine power, and said confidently as soon as she landed: "My name is Athena, Athena, the goddess of wisdom."
-
Hephaestus accepted the position of the main god, but refused to return to Mount Olympus with the three, and continued to live on the island of Lemnos.

Zeus didn't force it. After losing his wisdom and authority, his head was always groggy and it took time to adapt.

On the way back, he was separated from Hera and Athena.

"I'll go to the human world to see how the humans on the earth are doing now."

"Is there still faith in Cronus?"

The history books record everything.

Zeus was patrolling the land, and in a valley, he found a slim young girl who was also a goddess.

His fourth wife, Persephone, daughter of Demeter, goddess of fertility.

There is no ethical argument among the gods. The residual power of wisdom and authority showed Zeus that if he intercourse with Persephone, he would have a son with powerful power in the future.

Of course, I also saw the little thoughts of Demeter, the goddess of fertility.

A god predicted that Persephone would have intercourse with Zeus and give birth to a powerful son. In order to prevent her daughter from being murdered by Zeus, Demeter hid Persephone in this valley.

Without hesitation, Zeus flew into the valley in the form of a dragon and forced Persephone to join him.

A year later, he got his wish and got a newborn baby with horns on his head.

Zeus named him Zagreus, which means the one with the horns on his head.

He took Zagreus back to Mount Olympus and protected him with divine power. The young Zagreus crawled around on Zeus's lap and waved the thunderbolt, an artifact representing the power of Zeus, with his immature hands.

On the golden throne, Hera has been waiting for a long time.

"Where did you go to flirt again, and you brought back a son."

Zeus said excitedly: "He can't be simple."

"I use the remaining divine power of wisdom and authority to see that he will be a powerful god in the future."

"But before that, he needs to go through a little bit of hardship."

Hera: "What tribulation?"

Zeus narrowed his eyes and said darkly, "Aren't the six giant sons of the god Uranus at our disposal?"

"You find an excuse and let them kill this child."

"I will keep his heart to conceive myself."

"Forge the foundation of a powerful god-level god for him."

Hera frowned: "You want me to be a villain again?"

Zeus smiled: "It's not the first time for you anyway."

"Demeter will not doubt you, but will only anger the son of Uranus."

"With the same powerful divine power, she has no choice but to let it go."

Hera: "Is he a child of Demeter?"

Zeus: "No, he is the daughter of Demeter, the child of Persephone."

Hera nodded: "That's easy, I know what to do."
-
Uranus, the god of heaven, had six giant sons, three of whom had only one eye on their foreheads, and they were the three brothers of the Cyclopes. The other three have fifty heads and one hundred arms, and are the three brothers of the hundred-armed giant.

The three Cyclops brothers are the incarnations of Thunder, Lightning, and Thunderbolt, and they are good at forging. Zeus's artifact Thunderbolt was created by them.

The three hundred-armed giant brothers are the embodiment of the power of the earth, and they like to eat.

The six people are born with powerful divine power.

Before they were born, the sky god Uranus ordered the earth goddess Gaia not to give birth to them until they became great powers in the mother body.

Gaia, the goddess of the earth, was unwilling, so she instigated her youngest son, Cronus, to overthrow his father, and thus opened the era of confrontation between the sky and the earth.

The six giants who were born prematurely have great strength, but their brains are not very smart, and they don't like to think.

After being rescued from the bottomless abyss by the god Uranus, he was thrown on Mount Olympus and handed over to Zeus for management.

Today they received an order from Hera, the queen of heaven, to kill her rival in love, Zagreus, son of Persephone.

The six giants didn't think much, and went straight to where Hera pointed.

In order to avoid suspicion, Zeus had already left Mount Olympus first.

So the six people were unimpeded, and soon found the temple where Zagreus was.

Sensing the danger approaching, the baby god in the cradle hid.

But with only weak divine power, he has no resistance against the six powerful gods of the first level of divine power. The eldest of the three Cyclops brothers, Stropes, who represents the incarnation of Thunder, transformed into a mirror, which easily reflected Zagrou. His hiding place.

Three hundred-armed giants brutally strangled his young throat.

At the last moment of his life, Zagreus seemed to be aroused by the desire for survival. He turned into a bull, charged the giant with his sharp horns, and fought for his life.

The hundred-armed giants strangled him, dismembered the bull-shaped Zagreus with their swords, and cooked him on the fire.

Athena, the goddess of wisdom who had been hidden for a long time, resisted the discomfort, rescued Zagreus' heart according to the order of Zeus, and put it in a box.

After receiving a signal from Hera, Zeus returned to Mount Olympus, where he tore open his thigh and placed the heart of Zagreus in it to conceive.

Thousands of years later, he will be reborn with a new identity.
