Chapter 33 The Twitching Face

Chapter 33 The Twitching Face

Deep in the jungle near the center, there is a beautiful lake.

The lake water is as clear as a mirror, and it looks beautiful under the reflection of the setting sun and sunset.

Pandora was sitting by the lake, her clothes were thin, and her smooth white feet were immersed in the lake water, kicking the water from time to time.

She suddenly stretched out her slender fingers and tapped them in the air.

The setting sun and sunset glow reflected in the lake disappeared, replaced by everything in the world.

After seeing half the price, she shook her head in disappointment.

"I thought that the newly born god would bring changes to human beings, but unexpectedly, it turned out to be a master who likes war."

"Zeus and Hera are so kind to him, they let a child who doesn't understand anything get involved in faith."

"Shouldn't it be said that he is indeed the heir conceived by the two of them?"

Not wanting to see a bloody war, Pandora stood up, the rippling water smoothed the scene in the lake, and the setting sun and sunset glow were reflected in the lake again.

She walked barefoot on the shore of the lake, the afterglow of the setting sun sprinkled on the thin and transparent clothes through the shade of the trees, like a hospitable and ignorant forest fairy in the fantasy of mortals.

Next to the lake is the village, which was planned and built by Pandora and her husband Epimetheus.

Pandora remembered that when she first arrived, the place was still in ruins, and her husband lived in a dilapidated thatched hut as a god.

Now there is no trace of the ruins here at all.

She walked in the village with her eyes closed, enjoying the pleasure of the evening wind.

Pandora is familiar with every plant, tree, brick and stone here, and she is not afraid of falling at all.

In fact, even she herself finds it unbelievable that gods and mortals can not only become husband and wife, but also get along so harmoniously.

But in her husband Epimetheus, she did not find the sense of alienation between gods and mortals, and the process of getting along with them was extremely harmonious.

So Pandora willingly gave birth to an heir with him.

The child's name was Pyrrha, a girl who inherited the power of her father Epimetheus and shared the beauty of her mother Pandora. She was born a witty ghost.

What makes Pandora feel regretful is that because she is a mortal, the child is not born an eternal god, but a demigod. She has always been a little bit bitter about it, and even occasionally blames herself.

There are many vacant houses in the village, all of which are built for aesthetics, and a family of three actually does not need so many.

So there is only one room that has light reflected from it.

Pandora smiled, her husband Epimetheus was a very careful person, no matter how late he would leave a lamp, although it was not necessary, but Pandora could feel his heart.

The conversation between husband and daughter came from inside the house.

Pandora didn't go in, she blinked playfully: "I seem to have 'unintentionally' revealed my daughter's little secret."

Inside the house, Epimetheus had a dark face. He asked his daughter Pyrrha, "I haven't seen you all day today."

"Tell me, where are you fooling around again?"

Pila felt a little guilty, she lowered her head: "I went to a friend's house to play."

Epimetheus's face darkened even more. Although he knew everything about the future, he was still a little uncomfortable when things really happened.

His voice raised a lot unconsciously: "Friends? How many friends do you have?"

"You are not ashamed as a big girl, and you run to the house of Deucalion all day long."

"I can't tie a cow even if I tie a cow."

Pila seemed a little unconvinced: "Mother doesn't keep her promise, she agreed not to tell you."

She raised her head to argue, but immediately met Epimetheus' majestic gaze, and lowered her head unconsciously.

She whispered: "If I was born as a god and possessed the power of a god, I would definitely stay far away from you."

"You're not enlightened at all."

But what she didn't expect was that Epimetheus suddenly became angry.

He asked Pyrrha sternly: "Who are you blaming?"

"Is it me? Or your mother?"

"Are you blaming us for not giving you the status of a god?"

"Still ashamed of not having the power of a god?"

Knowing that she said something she shouldn't have said, Pila hurriedly made amends, and she explained in a panic: "Father, it's not like this..."

As if thinking of something, her mood became obviously lost.

"But father, if I were born a god, I wouldn't have to worry about the future anymore."

"Because I won't grow old and I won't die. I have enough time to spend just to do a simple thing that makes me happy."

"You know what, father."

"Actually, I really envy you and my mother. You both have eternal life and can be together forever."

"But me and Deucalion can't do it. I know he loves me very much, but I dare not ask for more."

"I am afraid of facing myself who will grow old and ugly in the future. I feel that I am not worthy of him."

After speaking, Pila choked up.

Epimetheus let out a long sigh. He felt that his daughter seemed to have grown up a bit, with her own little secrets and troubles.

He turned away, not wanting his daughter to see his less dignified side.

He said, turning his back on Pyrrha, "If you're only bothered by such trifles, you don't have to."

"I have already prepared."

Pila wiped his eyes: "Father, you don't have to lie to me. There have always been only gods born with eternity. There is no precedent for mortals to become gods."

Epimetheus snorted: "Look at your disappointment."

"How many years have you lived, and how many things can you know?"

"The absence of precedent does not mean that there is no way."

"Hephaestus, the god of fire, has long left a shortcut for mortals to become gods at the root of the flame."

"This shortcut, though too dangerous for mortals, is too slow for a god."

"But I have friendship with Hephaestus, just take two treasures to Lemnos Island and say something good for you."

"Is it difficult to add a shortcut to the shortcut for you?"

Pyla couldn't believe it: "Hephaestus? Hephaestus the master craftsman? The only ugly person among the gods?"

"Does he have this ability?"

Epimetheus turned and looked at her seriously: "You'd better not speak insultingly to the mighty god."

"And never underestimate the ability of a powerful god."

"You see, if Hephaestus minds what you say and calls."

"I can't stop him at all."

"At that time, not only you, but your mother and I will be pushed to the ground."

Pyla explained: "I don't dare to offend, but it's hard to imagine that such a notorious god has the power to turn decay into magic."

"Father, you may not know that his marriage to the goddess of beauty, Aphrodite, has already been spread among the gods. He is now synonymous with weakness."

Epimetheus sighed: "Pyrrha, sometimes eyes and ears cannot believe, and you cannot believe what others say."

"You should use your own judgment."

"You have to know that there are very few things in the world that can restrain a god with powerful divine power at the first level, except for the six great divine powers aloft, they are synonymous with invincibility."

"Your views, your suspicions, and your slander are nothing but the barking of incompetent wild dogs, and they will collapse at the touch of a button."

"Among the powerful gods, there are some things that will never be revealed, but the bottom line and attitude have been placed there from the very beginning."

"No matter who it is, it cannot be surpassed."

"Just like Zeus and his wife arranged the marriage of Hephaestus and Aphrodite, just like Hephaestus let Aphrodite go, just like Aphrodite will not do anything In the name of the wife of Hephaestus."

Pila was thoughtful, and a smile appeared on Lihua's rainy face: "I understand, father."

She was suddenly a little curious: "Father, what level are you, weak divine power or medium divine power?"

Epimetheus rolled his eyes: "That's why you don't live up to it. You have been together for so long, and you can't even find out my bottom line."

"If I fight with your husband in the future and you go sideways again, I don't know how to lose to you."

Pilar was happy: "How could such a thing happen, but father, don't worry, with me watching, Deucalion would never dare to do this."

Epimetheus turned his head when he heard the words, his face twitching uncontrollably.
