Chapter 20 I can’t sleep at night, let’s talk to everyone~

It’s been a week since I published the book, and the feedback from all aspects has been very good. Lao Fo’s heart has finally calmed down.

The other half is still hanging in the air because as a Chinese entertainment novel, the main perspective will stay in Hollywood for a long time. Whether readers are willing to follow it or not, Laofu is still worried.

But don’t worry, everyone, although the protagonist is in the United States, his heart is in China. He is in Cao Ying and his heart is in Han. He will come back from time to time, so there will still be exciting plots in China. When the time is right, the protagonist It will also return completely and open the chapter of Huayu, which will definitely be the main part of the content of this book and the Gao Dynasty part.

When I first decided to write a story about working in Hollywood and then returning to China Entertainment, in fact, the fellow writers in the group were not optimistic about it, and everything they said was reasonable. If you do this, China Entertainment is not China Entertainment, and Meiyu is not Meiyu. Readers are very divided, and it's easy to disagree with both sides.

Just like Lao Fo wrote "I Really Only Have One Wife", the original intention was to please the single heroine and harem novel crowds, but in the end Cai'er was not heard from either side.

But Lao Fo thinks such an attempt is interesting and meaningful.

How to write about Huayu? I believe readers of this book have basically read too many. Generally, at the beginning, Ning Hao, the Poet of the Tang Dynasty, Fighting Huayi, Traveling to Hong Kong and Taiwan, etc., are always unavoidable. However, in the end, China has already If there is no room for the protagonist, it will naturally fly to Hollywood, enhance its international vision, and squeeze out the last bit of entertainment content.

But I was thinking, can I work in Hollywood first, and then return to domestic entertainment? Under the strong influence of the protagonist, I can sublimate the bad domestic entertainment, and challenge Hollywood in the 2020s?

Things that cannot be done in reality cannot be imagined in novels~

Of course, there are certainly clichés in this book, but Laofu hopes that the overall style will be refreshing to everyone, at least it will not look too similar.

Lao Fo started his career as an entertainment writer, but for so many years after "Wen Sao" he didn't dare to touch on entertainment writers at the beginning, because he knew that he had little talent and little knowledge, so he was hit by some top entertainment writers, such as "You Turn White When You Sleep, Qingcheng Wuji, Ma Yes, the writing is really good. Compared with them, I am just a movie lover and an amateur.

Especially in the entertainment industry, it is even more amateurish.

Laofu has never been to the United States and has no overseas friends. Thinking about this aspect of the plot makes his eyes darken. The Western accent is also very slow to write, so after giving it a try, I just talked like a normal person. Do not deliberately emphasize foreign accents.

If there is anything wrong when writing about foreign countries, please correct me and let me learn new knowledge in writing.

In order to supplement the relevant knowledge about Hollywood and movies, Lao Fo bought a lot of professional books after the book was launched, probably less than 20 books, some about the film industry, some introducing the United States, some teaching you to write scripts and become directors, and some Regarding photography, film reviews, and biographies of celebrities in the industry.

I originally planned to read them all before starting the book, but I was afraid that I would forget what I read before, so I decided to read them while writing. If you have any good books in this field, you can also recommend them to me. This novel is for you. If not, there will be another one.

Laofu also recommends the book "Hollywood Model: A Study of the American Film Industry" (2nd Edition), which is very thorough about Hollywood and should be very helpful to authors who want to write novels in this area.

Zhou Liming's "Hollywood Revelation", including his other works on Hollywood, are also worth reading.

Robert McKee's "Story" not only makes us look more professional when writing entertainment articles involving movie script plots, but it is also very helpful for us in novel creation.

Next, take a photo and put it in the Easter egg chapter at the back.

Huayu is Lao Fo’s safe haven and comfort zone. It’s easy to write. I chose to return to Huayu at this time because I hope I can better accompany my wife and future children in the past two years.

Of course, what I hope more is that my story can be turned into the support of more readers. Better data and achievements are the stimulants for the author's coding.

Now "You Don't Understand the Director's Joy" has also been recommended, and this book has officially joined the competition for the new book list, so I would also like to ask for the support of all readers, recommendation votes, monthly votes, this chapter says, fan pictures , be careful with likes, investments, book lists, rewards, all of these are whipped towards Lao Buddha like a whip!
