Chapter 58: Sheiyn Stays At Her Idol's Home

"Tita you're back!"

Instead of Jim, Sheiyn was even more excited seeing her idol walking upstairs. She immediately stood up and greeted her idol without hesitation.

Just as Jim had expected, he couldn't hear anything from his mom so he wasn't able to detect if she was around. Nevertheless, he was happy to see his mom coming back home. They were again reunited, how could he not be happy with that?

Jim also walked closer to her as he said with a smile, "Mom you're back!"

Charley smiled at the duo as she patted both of their heads with her hands and joked, "You two will definitely become a good couple someday."

"Ehhh!!!!!" The duo retorted. Jim was embarrassed beyond death. His face was flashing red as he found it hard to peek a glance towards Sheiyn.

The same went for Sheiyn. She was reddened in embarrassment that she could just die without regrets.

Seeing both of them, Charley chuckled softly as she walked to the sofa and sat on it. She then beckoned for the duo to come over as well.

"Anyway Sheiyn, how are you?" Charley changed the topic and asked the other party instead.

Sheiyn knew what she was talking about so she replied excitedly, "I think I'm cured now."

"Oh? So how was it? Do you feel that it's much more convenient than having an amulet protecting you under the sun?"

"Of course! It's definitely much better." Sheiyn felt overwhelming happiness deep within. There was even an urge in her to brag to the world that she was cured by one of the strongest women in their Kingdom. If this news reached her family, they would surely be happy regarding this.

Seeing her could only make Charley smile. She really was happy seeing that another person who was suffering from a curse same as her daughter was now cured. She didn't do this because she wanted something in return, she did this solely because of wanting to help.

If Don Cruz had brought his daughter to her long ago, she probably had cured her a long time ago as well. But the other party was so stubborn and prideful. He didn't want to ask any help especially from the wife of his long-time rival. They weren't enemies with huge enmity though. This Don and Charley's husband, Joe Jabat, just kept competing against each other. Or perhaps, only Don wanted to compete with Joe and beat him already.

As for now, the sun was about to set. Charley saw this and she knew that the moon was full later at night. If Sheiyn went outside and was hit by the moonlight, Charley knew that her power would definitely outburst and she might lose control over her power.

This curse would never become a blessing unless the host of it had taken full control over it. But Charley could tell that Sheiyn wasn't that kind of person. To a half-moon or quarter moon, she might still able to control the outburst of power from it but from the full moon? Charley really doubted it.

So with that in mind, Charley stared intently towards Sheiyn as she asked, "It's already about evening, why not you stay here in our home this night?"

"This..." Sheiyn was having trouble about what to say. She really wanted to go home now but her idol was right, the evening was about to come.

The night was dangerous not only because of the beasts wandering all around but also because of her condition. She could tell that it was still full moon later at night and she knew full well how could she not control her power under its moonlight.

In the past few days, she was wandering with her wolf, she was just lucky enough that she found a safe cave to shelter in when night came. But now that she was in the village, it wasn't a bad idea to stay here for at least a night.

After all, the moonlight of the full moon was pretty scary to handle for her.

If by chance she left here in the village now or stay here in the village and was still hit by the moonlight, she would probably lose control over her power and hurt innocent people.

So as unwilling as she was, she could only stay at the house of her idol for now and wait for her parents to arrive here instead. She already told her parents that she was here in this village so they were probably rushing to this place as for now. Its already been more than a week since she left home so her parents were surely worrying to death right now and were still frenziedly searching for her.

Of course if Sheiyn didn't bring their family treasure with her, her parents were surely had found her a long time ago but unfortunately for them, this Sheiyn was a little cunning and brought with her their treasure.

Seeing the reluctance on her, Charley added, "I have some contact with your father, don't worry I will tell him that I will take care of you."

"C-can I really stay here?" Sheiyn asked in shyness. She was reluctant to stay here not because she hated it or she was unwilling but because she was too shy to stay here.

"Of course. Why not?"

"Then it's decided."

Charley smiled as she stood up and said, "Ok, wait here. I will prepare your room. It's the room of my daughter so it was just fine right?"

"Of course. Of course." Sheiyn hurriedly replied, afraid that the other party might tell her that she was picky.

Charley nodded with a smile. She then shifted her gaze to Jim who looked so happy as she ordered, "You brat, go to your room and clean yourself! Can't you be ashamed at yourself that we have a beautiful visitor here?"

"..." Jim was speechless as the excited smile on his lips had disappeared. But seeing the glare of his mom, he could only stand up and walk to his room instead.

Why are so cruel to me? Jim could only think about this. His mom was good at being hospitable to others but was strict with her son. If his mother was not too strong, he might have rebelled a long time ago.

But now that he thought about it, it was good as well to go in his room instead to see his ability if there was something new. He might as well study all the knowledge he received from his Blood Minions. If he studied all those fights carefully, Jim could tell that he might learn something and improve his fighting prowess.

He could also try to create some other life-forms that were able to fight side by side with him.

With that in mind, Jim let out a smile as he entered his room and closed it tightly. He even forgot to clean himself as he immediately rushed onto his bed and sat cross leg on it trying to remember every fight that had occurred a while ago.

All of those memories flooded in his mind. His closed eyes had closed even more tightly as he tried to concentrate. Time ran slowly as he had finished studying all of the fights. He then took a deep breath as he slowly opened his eyes followed by a smile.

"So that's how it is. The greater my grasp on my ability the better power I can execute. Even if I am weaker than my enemy if I know my ability full well, I can still win the fight." Jim concluded. He could see in his memories that many Hunters and Semi-Demons could win their fights against stronger opponents just by having a better understanding of their ability. Though their World Energy was a bit lacking compared to their enemy, by using their ability to the fullest, and grasp the right timing on how they would use their ability, they could execute stronger moves.

Jim nodded his head. But how could he have a greater understanding of his own ability? He raised his palm in front of his chest and stared at it with his narrowed eyes.

His ability was the power of life. He could control blood and soul but as for now, he had only tried to control his blood. As for the soul, he really had no idea how to do so.

He thought for his blood to come out from his palm and a drop of blood immediately came out and then floated slightly above his palm. He then willed for it to form itself into a butterfly and slowly, it formed on itself until it became a little red butterfly.

The butterfly danced around him and then perched on his palm.

Jim only watched it for a moment as he tried to check what was its ability by putting his consciousness on it. But to his disappointment, there was nothing new. The butterfly's ability was the same as his other Blood Minions. He could only use this as a good spy.

Jim then sighed deeply as he let the butterfly wander around the village. The butterfly then flew towards the window and disappeared into the dark.

Right now the sun was fully gone and darkness was trying to embrace the surroundings. Jim was still planning to let all of his Blood Minions come out of his body and wander around the nearby forest and mountains to scout when suddenly...

Knock Knock Knock.

Someone was knocking at the door of his room followed by a shout saying, "Jim dinner's ready! Let's eat together."

The voice was of course no other than his mother's. He forgot to send out his Blood Minions to the nearby woods as he immediately replied, "Yes mom! I'm coming!"
