“Even so, we, the Mohists, have not changed our original intention. We have followed the instructions of our ancestors and loved the world. Therefore, we are willing to serve the people, but we no longer trust the imperial court.”

 So if they went to work under Zhao Hanzhang, they would lose their reputation as Mohists. Anyway, they came out not to promote Mohist ideas and strengthen Mohists, but to beg for food.
