Cheng Xiu looked at the blue interface in front of her in excitement. This was becoming her favourite sound.

[Player Selafia Veritas has passed Battle 4 of the Grandmaster's Arena against Immortal Crow of the Laughing Scarecrows Faction.

Cheng Xiu choked on nothing. She got a Qi Supplier? Just like that? And the Babies are E graded. Did that mean that there are adult-sized ones as well?

Did Crow have it?

Cheng Xiu thought he did. He was one of the, if not the, best in Talisman fighting. He should have it already. But the fact that he did not use it meant that he couldn't. It must be of a higher level than the rest and he needed to be above Level 10 to actually use the talisman.

Cheng Xiu finally understood how lucky she was. If he hadn't been subdued by the Level 10 barrier, the man wouldn't have hesitated to end her.

Cheng Xiu couldn't help the glee filled smile that wanted to grace her face. It softened her features, showing the childish charm that she tried to kill in herself.

Her mind worked. She couldn't use the puppet during her fight with the Immortals though. The chances of them pestering her would increase even more than it already did. She was scared of the way this would end.

What were the chances that these experts would leave her alone after this?

What were the chances that they would not pull something similar to the Arena Battle sometime in the future?

Cheng Xiu shook her head. She shouldn't worry about such things until she had to. It wouldn't be good for her mindset during her next fight.

Cheng Xiu looked like the words on the screen changed and turned into her heart one with annoyance and confusion.

The Interface was titled. "Veritas Chosen One."

She watched as her name from Grey to Blue, then from Blue to Green, then from Green to White, then White to deep Purple, and finally from Purple to Golden.

"What is happening?"

Beyond the scope of her village? What?

Cheng Xiu was dazed.

[Selafia Veritas has broken through the fame of her Veritas Village and aims to become known in her Entire Kingdom!]

"I didn't say anything like that."

The title of the Chosen One leaderboard changed to "Vixia's Chosen One."

Her name was in blue already.

What now?

['The Mad Prophet's Quest' has changed to 'Vixia's Hope'.]

Cheng Xiu felt her heartbeat loud. Was this the so-called legendary Quest that everyone thought was a hoax?

Was this the false Quest that Myrdian, the bartender had to force people to take? It was so easy for her to get into the next level of this quest though. All she had to do was get two unwanted Fountains.

Cheng Xiu smiled for a moment, and then she realised, she did not gain anything from this achievement. All it did was give her a new leaderboard to climb up.

This quest was a scam after all.

Cheng Xiu felt like the system was just waiting for her to think that to slap her metaphorical face with something.

She was right.

It was waiting for her to think bad about it to release that reward.

Cheng Xiu felt her head spin. There was more?

The Immortal Name: Make your name known to the World forever as a Legend to be told by generations to come.

1)Have 70,000+ Fame (Complete.)

2)Have 3 World Announcements (Complete)

3)Be in the Top Ten of anyone Leaderboard. (Complete)

4)Defeat 5 or More Players or NPC in an Arena Battle. (In-Progress. 4/5 Completed.)

5)Complete 10 Regular Quests of Rank E or Above. (In-Progress.)

6)Have at least 1 Master Grade Weapon. [Soul Weapons do not count.]

7)Have 20,000 or more Gold Coins or 100 Crystals in possession. (Complete)

8)Make Acquaintance with 50 NPCs (In-Progress.)

9)Have One Monument in your name. (Complete.)

10)Gather 10 Worshipers for your Monument. (Complete.)]

Cheng Xiu Felt like she was in a dream somehow. A World Quest. It was the rumoured World Quest. This was something she was enamoured with the minute she heard its name. This was a quest that could only be triggered by the elites of the game and yet, she had triggered it without paying anything.

Cheng Xiu sighed. She was lucky. She was the luckiest in the world. There was no way she would have been able to trigger so many of the conditions through hard work.

Cheng Xiu felt like the next time she saw Myrdian, she might thank him through tears. He was the one to force the Village Head to give her fountains in her name.

There was no reward mentioned from completing the World Quest but who cared! It was a damned World Quest. That was the biggest reward in itself. A World Quest meant that you are included in the narrative of the World. You matter to the grand theme of things. She had to Activate this Quest, even if it meant that she would be doing manual labour.. It was worth it.
