When Lucifer opened his eyes, he was still in the shed.

"Argh!" he grunted in pain as he grabbed his head and sat up.

He sighed and muttered, "If I was even one second late in sealing that… Nyx, gods knows what might have happened."

Lucifer glanced beside him to see Faith lying naked defencelessly. He averted his gaze and placed Faith's clothes on top of her body. Then, he shook Faith to wake her up.

Faith's eyes flinched as she slowly opened them and looked at Lucifer with her still half-opened eyes.

However, when she saw it was Lucifer, she was wide awake. She immediately sat up, only to realize she was naked.

Her face turned as she covered her body with her clothes. She ran to the corner of the shed because Lucifer was sitting at the entrance of the shed.

SNIFF!

She started crying and glared at Lucifer with tears in her eyes.

"How could you do such this to me….?" she sniffed.

"No. It's not—"

"Don't even try to lie! I know everything!" Faith yelled.

"This is a misunderstanding. Please listen to me," Lucifer said in a calm voice.

"I know you have the power to hypnotize people. You used that on me and made me do… things with you, right?!" Faith shouted.

"You are the one who pushed me into the shed," Lucifer sighed and said, "Just hear me out, okay?"

"I won't! I will tell Zeus you raped me! And he will kill—"

"Please… listen to me," Lucifer uttered with a sad look on his face. "I am tired of all this. I can't do this anymore."

"Huh…?"

"I am 14000 years old… yet, I haven't learned a thing…" Lucifer muttered.

"What are you talking about?" Faith asked with a confused look on her face. "Here I am talking about how you took advantage of me—"

"When an angel turns 14, they get blessings from their parents and the gods. And then they get one divine blessing from the supreme god— who no one has ever seen. After receiving the blessings, they go to a goddess of fates and prophecy, who shows them their destiny and the legacy."

"My destiny was to become a fallen angel, and I made that my legacy." Lucifer scoffed bitterly and said, "The worst thing that could ever happen to an angel is becoming a fallen angel. But I was looking forward to becoming one. So I did many terrible things and tried to become a fallen angel, but I failed."

After a brief pause, he continued with a distant smile on his face: "When I was 120 years old, I was on the verge of becoming a fallen angel. But I failed once again because of a human girl."

"I was angry at her. I was furious. I wanted her to feel the same frustration I felt." Lucifer bit his lips and said, "That's why, I messed up everything she tried to do. I made her life hard. I caused her a lot of trouble."

"However, never once she cursed about the happenings in her life. That thing… I wanted to learn that patience from her. So… I revealed myself to her. She told me many things about her. Then… I realized that if I betray her expectations, she will be in despair. So I made her fall in love with me."

"..." Faith quietly listened to Lucifer's story and wore her clothes from behind the haystack.

"It was all an act. It was supposed to be an act. But… I ended up falling in love with her. However, I still wanted her to feel the despair, so I revealed my true identity to her. I told her I was an angel and I was going to leave her. I lied that I didn't love her."

Lucifer took a deep breath and uttered, "One day, she took her revenge on me. She… she died in my arms. And when she died, I felt like I lost my world."

Lucifer stared into Faith's eyes and said, "You are possessed by a curse. Marry Zeus as soon as possible and then spend the rest of your life alone somewhere far away from him."
