It was daytime before noon.

After Emilia entered the void, she fell into the past timeline. However, as the void was a place no one and nothing existed, whoever entered the void died instantly. It was the same with Emilia, but she had just received Nero's fresh juice, which helped her body not get destroyed.

However, her body was damaged, and her soul was injured, but nothing was life-threatening. She would be back to normal and completely healed after a bit of reset.

But there was one problem; Emilia didn't know she was in the past. Nor was she aware of her locality.

She had fallen into an unknown forest, and she instantly passed out. When she opened her eyes, her entire body was aching, and she couldn't move.

She was pondering on what she should do, but first, she needed to know what had happened.

'It was night when I entered the portal, but now it's daytime, and I am in the middle of some forest?' she thought.

He moved her eyes and glanced around to see her surroundings. 'Where is Nero?'

She tried to get up, but her cores were destroyed, and she passed out again. 

She was lying defenseless in the middle of the forest, with no barrier or protection spell around her. Even her clothes were tattered as they were also made from magic. If anyone did something to her, she wouldn't even be able to fight back or defend herself in her current position.

Luckily, the first person to find her was none other than Zeus, not Nero.

"Hey, look, there is an injured girl here," he stated. He was with someone else.

After hearing voices, Emilia forced her eyes to open and saw a boy and girl.

The boy had black hair, blue eyes, and he was wearing a bracelet in his hand. It was Zeus.

Emilia recognized him at first glance. She sighed in relief, and she was about to jump to hug him, but she stopped when she saw a girl standing next to him.

The girl had long black hair, blue eyes, and she was wearing a pendant around her neck.

Emilia knew at first glance that she was her mother.

'Void is a dangerous place. Anything can happen there. If you mess with it, it can mess with you.  You can lose everything or even gain everything. You can go to the past or the future. But, everything comes with a price, so it's better not to do anything.' She then remembered what Nero had told him about the void.

'I am in the past, aren't I?' Emilia thought. 'Nero looks different, a lot different.'

"Oh, she is awake," Zeus uttered. "Hey, are you okay?" he asked with a concerned look on his face.

Emilia didn't reply and simply glared at the girl.

'She is the reason for all of Nero's pain. I can't believe someone so innocent looking can do such a terrible thing to my Nero.'

"Are you okay?" Zeus asked again and moved his hand forward to touch Emilia. But the girl grabbed Zeus' hand and stopped him.

She furrowed her brows and asked, "What do you think you are doing?"

Zeus gulped down in fear and replied, "I was… trying to see if she was okay."

"You shouldn't touch a girl without her permission, you know? Some girls don't like it," she asserted.

Zeus looked at the girl's hand that was grabbing his hand and said, "You are also touching me without my permission right now."

The girl frowned her face and let go of Zeus' hand. "Now, I won't let you touch me unless you apologize to me."

"What? Why do I need to apologize? And besides, you are the one who always tries to touch me whenever we are alone," Zeus snorted.

The girl's face flushed red in embarrassment, and she pushed Zeus away from him. Then, she turned to Emilia and asked with a gentle smile on her face: "Are you okay? How did you get here? Are you lost? Where are your companions?"

Emilia didn't answer and kept glaring at the girl.

The girl glanced at Zeus with an anxious look on her face and said, "I think she can't understand us."

"How about you heal her first? She looks injured," Zeus suggested.

The girl nodded and tried to heal Emilia, but her body wasn't healing. She furrowed her brows and uttered, "I can't heal her? My  divine powers are not working on her."

Zeus activated his God's sight and inspected Emilia's body. "Weird. She is mostly a human, but she has certain traits of angels. And now she is a fallen angel."

The girl sighed in frustration and muttered, "No wonder my powers aren't working on her."

"Typical gods," Nero remarked. "They don't want their powers to be used for healing a fallen angel."

"What should we do now?" the girl wondered.

"Let's take her to the capital. There will be other healers who will be able to heal her," Zeus answered. Then, he turned to Emilia and said, "Can I touch you?"

Emilia tried to stand up on her own, but she still couldn't move her body. She looked into Zeus' eyes and nodded.

Zeus carried Emilia in his arms and walked with the girl. Even when they were walking, Emilia was still looking at the girl with a frowned face.

"My name is Zeus," Zeus said to Emilia. "What is your name?"

"My name is… erm…" Emilia stopped and wondered, 'Is it okay to tell my name?'

"I see. So you have lost your memories," Zeus stated. "Don't worry. I can help you get them back once you are completely healed."

"..." Emilia looked at the girl and then asked Zeus: "What's her name?"

She was curious about her mother's name since no one had ever mentioned it. She asked Sophia, but Sophia denied saying it as Nero had told her not to speak her name.

"You should ask her yourself," Zeus replied with a smile on his face. He had noticed that Emilia was glaring at the girl, so he wanted them to have a talk.

Emilia bit her lips and asked the girl: "What is your name?"

The girl smiled widely and replied with a grin: "My name is Faith Pandora. You can call me Faith."

Emilia's eyes widened as she remembered her first brief quarrel with Nero.

It was when they got out of the prison realm, and she said, 'You need to have faith.'

To which Nero had replied with, 'Preposterous! Are you seriously asking a demon to have faith in gods? And never say that word again in front of me!'

'So that's why he yelled at me...'
