"Do you know why rituals like these are sacred? Because it brings despair and destruction." Nero smirked and asserted with an evil glare in his eyes: "In your case, I am that despair and destruction."

Among those 15 humans, six were women, and nine were men. However, all of them had the same body structures and features. They all summoned magic cord in their left hands and their weapons in their right hand.

Nero observed them and thought, 'Why is no one speaking? Isn't this where they should yell or scream?'

"Well, it doesn't matter anyway, coz none of em will be able to speak in the end," Nero muttered with a scoff.

Nero was examining 15 humans at once. He was keeping his eye and watching the movements of each of them.

'They are no longer humans, and their body is filled with an excessive amount of power. I need to wait and watch their attack first… no, scratch that. I will just go all out and destroy them.'

Nero wanted to go back to the palace as soon as possible because he wanted to meet Emilia and others. However, he was simply horny.

Nero jumped in the air and prepared to fire concentrated mana-ball. But suddenly, his left eye began pulsating, and it started bleeding.

'Not now!' Nero landed on the ground at some distance from the enemies and placed his hand on his left eye.

"I have regretted many times in my life for using my powers," he muttered. "But this left eye is my biggest regret."

Nero forcefully opened his left eye and looked at the enemies to make sure they weren't trying to attack him. But, they were trying to attack Nero.

They dashed at Nero and surrounded him from all sides.

"Nero!" Horus' yelled and tried to approach Nero, but Nero stopped him.

"Don't come near me!" Nero said.

A black matter came out of Nero's left eye, and it floated at the enemies at a slow speed.

'What is that?' Nero wondered.

It was Nero's first time seeing that, and he wasn't sure as to why it came out of his left eye.

The black matter took the shape of a human-sized ball and floated towards the enemies.

Two women tried to cut the black ball, but their weapons disappeared, and they were sucked into the ball.

"...!"

The ball touched the ground, and it disappeared. However, the spot on the ground where it made contact had also disappeared.

'What was that?' Nero wondered.

He pondered for a while and muttered, "Was it a void ball? Or a… black hole?"

The left eye, which he deemed useless, turned out to be his new power. His abyssal eye rendered him the power of the void.

"Heh!" Nero smirked and beckoned the other enemies. 

"Do you know what happens after you die?" Nero asserted in a sinister voice. "You meet nothing. You go to a place where there is no tomorrow, where nothing exists; a void, an endless abyss. And I will personally make sure you reach there."

Nero tried to create another black hole after acting cool and asserting a remarkable sentence, but he couldn't create another black hole.

SIGH!

Nero sighed in annoyance and groaned, "This is why I hate getting a new power. Now I will have to learn to use it."

The remaining thirteen enemies whipped their magical cord and tied Nero in it.

"...!" Horus wanted to help Nero, but he knew he wouldn't be able to fight them.

'This is bad. One cord was enough to subdue the Kraken. And Nero is tied with thirteen of them.'

Horus clenched his fists in frustration and uttered inwardly: 'I want to help him, but I will just get in his way.'

However, Horus was bewildered after seeing Nero smiling, as though the magical cords weren't affecting him. Although in reality, Nero had lost most of his mana.

"I admit I do like getting my mana sucked, but there is only one person who is permitted to do that to me," Nero snickered.

'What's wrong with him?! Why is he laughing even when he is in a dire situation?!' Horus couldn't comprehend nor could think of a reason why Nero was smiling. However, he knew that he was worrying for nothing.

Nero summoned the void blade in his hand and simply shrugged it in the air. A moment later, all the cords were severed, and Nero was free.

'I someone used the power of void, so I thought maybe I should try using this so-called void blade.' Nero gazed at the void blade in his hand and muttered, "Let's see how good of a weapon you are.'

The void blade began to change its color and started emitting a black and purple aura around it.

'This is a 'Void-blade,' and it can cut through the air, magic, curse, dimensions, realms.' Nero remembered what Hades had told him about the void blade.

Nero casually swung the sword in the air, and the distance between him and the enemies was severed.

Nero could see the crack in the dimension, as well as the gap in between.

"Hmm~!" Nero hummed in wonder.

Then, he looked at the enemies and found them dead on the ground.

'They will regenerate anyway, so it doesn't matter.'

Nero consumed the void blade and conjured a mana-ball in his hand.

"Let's try this," he murmured.

Nero focused on the mana-ball and tried to use his newly obtained void power to mix with it. 

After a few tries, he was able to create a void ball.

"I doubt it would work the same as the blackhole from before, but this void ball should kill them."

Nero threw the void ball at the enemies, and it devoured six men. Then, he fired another void ball that ate the rest of them.

Nero recalled Hades' words: 'You have a gift, kid. You can evolve during any fight. You can copy, examine, attack, defend, and win against almost anyone; because you know how to fight.'

"That's why I am called the god of the battlefield."

Then, he remembered the last sentence Hades said before disappearing: 'Retrieve your heart, Zeus.'

Nero opened his mouth and muttered the same thing he said to Hades: "I don't need the heart to live."
