Trap Online

We were all exhausted out in the middle of the forest. Our food levels were low and our stamina depleted. The laughs in victory died soon after and we started to try to get on our feet. There was no way we were making it back in the darkness that was outside when we looked. We decided to go inside to see if there was additional loot in the settlement as well. I went over to the Golin chief's body looting it.

I was startled with the last thing and pulled it out looking at the item.

Goblin Chiefs Long Dong (Quest Item):

This is a grotesque long d.i.c.k once belonging to a Goblin Chieftain. Finding the person who seeks this will start a quest.

I rolled my eyes putting it back thinking I could get a laugh out of Viccy or Victoria from it. Iona I think would just be disgusted with it. Viccy though was looting the other bodies and cleaning up. It did not take long and the Alarm went off in my head and I shared a look with Viccy. She noticed it was getting late as well and I noticed some annoyance as well. I would talk to her about it later.

We dove deeper into the settlement after looting the bodies. The deeper we went we saw more trash laying about. There were some valuables that we would pick up. Some of them were from merchant trains and other things. The deeper we went the dirtier it got. We saw some dirty beds we could use as well. The first tunnel we came up blank for anywhere we wanted to stay.

We went back to the entrance and down the tunnel, the Chieftain came from. The way down this tunnel was much cleaner and at the end was just the antechamber of the Chieftain. In the middle sat the cleanest bed we had seen here. We were all tired and needed to sleep somewhere or else we couldn't log out either. We looked around the room looking for loot. We found a chest that held some trash items of no importance. We also found one with a bunch of copper coins equaling about six hundred copper coins. We were all disappointed but that was free money.

Finally, we ended up on the bed together as I saw Iona's eyes slowly closing due to fatigue. We all laid down on the large relatively clean bed and Viccy logged out. I kissed Iona as she passed out getting a smile in return before I logged out as well.

The Pod lid opened slowly as my muscles had phantom pain in them. I got out slowly hearing Victoria going for the masseuse first. I shook my head and left my room. I saw my daughter cooking something up in the kitchen and I said my thanks as I went to my computer. I was looking over some statements for a while when I felt something behind me. I looked up and saw Victoria above me smiling.

"Your turn!" She told me with a happy smile and I could tell though there was frustration.

"Thanks for letting me know," I told her with a smile, "But after my turn under those magic fingers you need to tell me what has you frustrated," I told her simply and she showed a shocked face as I left. She probably didn't know I could read her pretty easily.

I moved towards Gabby and got ready for her fingers mentally. She was just f.u.c.k.i.n.g fantastic. The next bit was just becoming a mess under her hands. She was fantastic at what she did. I thanked Chris each time for scouting her. I was just hoping he would find a chef soon. I would call him to see what was happening with that but didn't want to nag him. He knew that I tipped based on how fast and the person he finds.

I sighed in relaxation after the work Gabby did on me. She was fantastic as always. I entered the shower washing off the oils she used and hot water relaxing me further. I exited and dressed for the meal my daughter cooked. Everyone was around the table talking to each other harmoniously. I smiled coming in and joined in.

Dinner went fantastically and the conversation light as we enjoyed an almost family type atmosphere. My daughter would be going home tomorrow so I asked her things about school. My daughter told me everything that was going on. I could feel the nostalgia and I could see it from Victoria as my daughter talked about school.

The night neared its end and my daughter went to bed for the night and as did Gabby. I stopped Victoria in the living room to talk to her. She smiled and knew that I had noticed her frustrations. She sat down across from me.

"Victoria I noticed when we were playing even now that you are frustrated over something. Do you mind if I pry into it and ask what have you frustrated?" I started bluntly like I usually talk about these things. Her smile was wry for a second before it turned genuine.

"Just like you Rick," She shook her head lightly, "Just straight in without a worry what can of beans you might open in the process." She chuckled but got to the point seconds later, "After we started playing I have noticed a bunch of bugs and minor things that need fixing. One thing I am starting to get annoyed about is how fast the days go. I believe that days should stay the same length and how the logging out should be done. But..." She sighed and brought herself back, "I think the amount of time can be extended so that people can play longer. I have some theories but I also need to test them. That means leaving and not playing and I am loving my time here. My mind though also wants to experiment. I can't have both though!" She was now venting frustrations and I nodded.

"Victoria, Pardon me for asking you a simple question but if you don't want to leave but also experiment on this, Why not just bring it here?" I asked simply and she looked up at me stunned for a couple of seconds before being downcast.

"Rick you have a lot of room here but not for the machines I would need. I could set up some of them but there is not enough space though."

"Then I can just ask a neighbor if they are selling. I think the person four or five floors down is selling their floor. Their company requires liquid funds so I can probably buy it or you can and change it over if you wanted." I just so happened to have read an email about that around a week ago when she first moved in with me.

The Eyes lit up and she was thinking about it. "Look Victoria we can go talk about it with him tomorrow and check the place out. If it has enough space we can just go do it. The building has plenty of security to stop people from coming in. You can also get a pod installed in there so you can do it after we exercise in the mornings. That would give you enough time to start some things up maybe?" I finished and she was even deeper in thought. She stood up happily and kissed me on the cheek. I was swamped in her affection for a moment in her happiness.

"Thanks, Rick! I will need to get an assistant to take over while I'm in the pod. That is of no matter I have plenty in the company that is ready to do it. This will also make a bunch of investors happy that I have started up the research again." She held me in a hug for a bit longer than normal but she seemed happy. I allowed her and we started to discuss details to go talk to the tenant tomorrow. I wrote an email while she unlatched herself off of me. It didn't take long and the reply was swifter than I thought. We were on the way to bed when I got back a confirmation.

The guy must be more desperate than I thought that they woke up at this time to reply. I had a quick email exchange before confirmation. I told Victoria who was just outside her room with a bright smile. I told her and I got another hug I just patted her back.

"Let us go to bed and we can go after a workout tomorrow. I need to see my daughter off tomorrow. Don't forget also that we need to finish looking through the goblin settlement as well. The smile of happiness was from ear to ear. I got in bed thinking about tonight and smiled as I went to sleep.
