City S was a fourth-tier city in China. The living standards of the people here were pretty average, but it was the first choice of many migrant workers from the countryside to settle down.

When the time ticked off at four o’clock in the afternoon, the bells in Danyang Elementary School of Fushan Village located in Bailu Town rang. Many children packed their schoolbags and rushed out of the school like a tide.

“Zhaodi, I see that your performance in school is very good. With your grade, I am sure that you can go to our town’s No. 1 Middle School smoothly. Have you and your family ever thought about it?” After the school ended, Teacher Lin called Jiang Zhaodi to her office and asked her about her plans.

Because of insufficient fundings and its remote location, Danyang Elementary School was the only elementary school that can be found here. Naturally, the number of students and teachers was not big. With only one class in the sixth grade, there were only 28 students.

Teacher Lin was a former female teacher from a big city. Due to her having a higher educational background, she was immediately appointed to be the head teacher of the sixth grade in this village. She was known because of her kind personality and smart mind.

This was her first year working at Danyang Elementary School. As the head teacher of the sixth grade, she naturally hoped for the students of sixth grade to graduate successfully. It was just a pity that many students dropped out of school at this time. Based on the former head teacher, many students have been dropping out of school and most of them were female students.

Teacher Lin knows the importance of studying. So she always talked to students in her office and asked them about their plans and situation.

Then there’s Jiang Zhaodi, the girl who had the best grade in the sixth grade.

Jiang Zhaodi was a girl around thirteen years old. Dressed in an old yellow dress, she stood with her pink schoolbag behind her back. Looking at it carefully, her bag was damaged. The zipper was broken and the corner of a book could be seen at one glance.

On her head, her hair was cut short, just a bit longer than a boy’s hair.

Her body was overly thin. Without the cover of clothes, her exposed arms and calves looked particularly skinny and bones were protruding on her face. With just one glance, it was obvious that she was malnourished.

Jiang Zhaodi lowered her head. She unconsciously digged her nails into the shoulder strap of her schoolbag and the light in her eyes was visibly dim.

Not having the courage to look up at Teacher Lin, she raised her head slightly and said with a quiet voice, “I, I’m not sure. Teacher Lin, I’ll first ask my mother about it.”

“Okay, just remember that Teacher Lin is here to support you in continuing your studies. If you encounter any difficulties, remember to tell me. Teacher Lin will do her best to help you.”

“Thank you.” She then left the school silently carrying her schoolbag on her back.

She walked into a dilapidated alley. She unzipped her schoolbag and took out a crumpled black plastic bag. Before long, she started to look around to find something.

A man drinking water from a plastic bottle passed by. After drinking all the contents of the bottle, he unceremoniously threw it on the ground. After confirming that the man had left, Jiang Zhaodi quickly stepped forward to pick up the bottle from the bed before putting it in the plastic bag.

Jiang Zhaodi knew that she couldn’t go to junior high school.

Her mother told her that their family’s financial condition was very tight. Not to mention supporting her, there was simply no way to provide for both her and her brother to study at the same time.

Renting a house, eating, and anything required money. Moreover, her younger brother’s kindergarten costs 15,000 yuan a year.

Her mother told her that their family was poor and had no money for her to study. She said, Jiang Zhaodi, after you graduate from elementary school, go work at the underwear factory next door.

But Jiang Zhaodi wanted to resist. She wanted to study and she would work very hard. In the future, she will study at a university and she will earn lots of money for her mother.

She thought in her heart, If I can save enough money, will I be able to study?

During the past years, she saved the money that she received on New Years. This semester, she has been collecting bottles to sell for money after school everyday.

She was hoping that this way, she would earn enough money for her tuition.

After encouraging herself, she quickened her movements and ran to the trash can not far away from her.

Upon opening her eyes, Yin Yin saw a man entering the door with bags of things in his hand.

“Wife, I’m back.”

Yin Yin acknowledged his words without saying a sound.

Yin Yin was a little fairy that was appointed to be the new Head Mistress in charged of protecting the pitiful children of the Three Thousand Worlds.

However, she found that more and more parents, especially mothers, weren’t concerned about the well-being of their children.

For children, their closest person was their parents, or their mother. They should be the ones who will guide and raise them with love.

Yet, because of the abandonment and negligence of their parents, the children who were originally innocent and carefree became gloomy. They suffered from their bad childhood experience.

There were also some mothers who spoiled and pampered their children way too much. As a consequence, their children became a waste. Becoming a bad person that only knows how to plot against others.

A child can be happy in his life if he had a happy childhood, but at the same time, a child can be gloomy if he had a bad childhood experience.

Yin Yin finally decided to personally go down to worlds and be the mother of these unfortunate children. Her purpose was to give them a memorable and happy life.

And this was the first world she came in contact with.

In this world, her name was also Yin Yin. She was married to a man named Jiang Jianguo and they have two children. The eldest daughter, named Jiang Zhaodi, was thirteen years old this year and was about to graduate from elementary school. As for the youngest and the second child, he was Jiang Tianyang, nicknamed Xiaobao. He was five years old this year and was studying at the private kindergarten in town.

The original owner was a biased mother.

Sixteen years ago, the original owner married Jiang Jianguo who was one year older than her in the village.

Jiang Jianguo’s father died early, and it was his mother who raised him and his brother singlehandedly.

As a hardworking and honest person, he started to work early after finishing primary school.

He has a younger brother who was four years older than him named Jiang Jianjun. Although he was a waste and could only laze around, he was still loved by Old Mrs. Jiang the most.

Before he could even finish his third year of high school, Jiang Jianjun impregnated a wild girl. At that time, the original owner and Jiang Jianguo were not married yet.

Old Mrs. Jiang became deeply worried about the life of her first grandchild. The wild girl’s family was not an easy opponent. As a countermeasure, she immediately let her Jiang Jianjun marry the wild girl, who was also the current sister-in-law of the original owner, Liu Miaomaio.

Jiang Jianjun didn’t go to school after graduating from high school. He has a lazy personality. He only knows how to become a waste and nothing more. He only stays at home like an ancestor, depending on his brother and his old mother.

When Liu Miaomaio finally gave birth to their son, their family of three was supported by Old Mrs. Jiang and Jiang Jianguo.

No one knew what happened, but the original owner only knew about this so called ‘supporting relative’ thing after marrying Jiang Jianguo.

But what can she do? She was already married to Jiang Jianguo and they both liked each other.

Yet, in the second year and the third year, Liu Miaomaio gave birth to another son one after another. It was a stark contrast against the original owner who still had no children. After this event, Old Mrs. Jiang displeasure reached a higher level and broke out.

Old Mrs. Jiang had always liked her youngest son who looked like her. But when her youngest son and his wife gave birth to two fat grandchildren, her feelings became even more biased.

The original owner was mocked by Old Mrs. Jiang as a hen that could not lay eggs. Her heart twitched in pain. She prayed and cried everyday, took countless medicines just to conceive. At last, there was finally a movement in her stomach after marrying Jiang Jianguo for three years.

It was a pity that the son she was looking forward to turned out to be a money-losing daughter in Old Mrs. Jiang’s mouth.

The original owner cried in pain and resentment. Unsurprisingly, she had no love for this hard-won daughter of hers.

Together with Jiang Jianguo, they named their daughter Zhaodi in the hope that their next child would be a boy.
