Underground City / Mine Cart Terminal 

Diana finally out from the Void. 

"Huh~ huh~ huh~"

She lies down, out of breath. Liam and Elisa, still in her grasp, lie down unconsciously beside her.

Maintaining her consciousness while walking pass void is so hard, even fighting monster all day is easier. 

"Hey, are you okay?"

Unexpectedly, there is a group of Miner come at them. 

"Did you just get out from this dark fog?"

They still don't know what is happening, and what is the dark fog exactly.

Diana get up first, then checking out Elisa and Liam. A bit afraid, Diana checks the two youngster breath. Gratefully, they are breathing, still in their sleep. 

"Elisa, Liam, wake up!"

Elisa and Liam wakes up after several shaking. 

"Why am I suddenly fell asleep?" asked Elisa. 

The two youngster still trying to figure out what was happened. Beside them, Diana looks at the crowd who gathered in the terminal, watching them in confused. 

Diana ignored their stares and questions. She then walked to one mine cart, preparing it. 

"Elisa, Liam, come quick!"

Elisa and Liam get up, still in confused. When sudden change of atmosphere occured. 

"Hey, look, the dark fog finally disappeared!"

The dark clouds slowly but surely disappeared from the city. Free the city from confusion. 

"Yeah, finally we can enter the city!"

The people in the terminal that waiting since earlier start to walk to the city. 

That made one certain young man wants to follow them. 

"Liam!"

But his superior didn't allow him to. 

"Get in this cart and get out from this mountain! Now!"

Diana keep pushing him to get out. Even though the problem that envelop the city has finally disappeared. 

There, Elisa hold his hand. "Let's go, Liam." Asked him to obey Diana's order. 

Liam cannot refuses if a cute girl asks him to follow her. 

The two youngsters finally get in to the mine cart. 

"Alright, listen to me. Get out from this city as fast as you can. Then, if you cannot invite every Hunter in each mountain, go to the Outpost and tell the Hunter in charge that this city being attacked. Bring any Hunter that listen to you and want to volunteer on helping this city."

Diana gave the command with a very tense expression. That is an expression of a Legend Hunter who has been through a lot of tough fight, and sense that there will be a terrible thing that are going to befall the city.

Liam tries to gives a strong smile as he nodded to Diana. It was forced, but otherwise, it would be difficult for Liam to move forward.

"Understood!"

That made Diana relieved. "Good, then -"

Crack. 

A sudden weird, intense echoing crack sound occurs.

The voice was heard several times and came from different directions.

Crack. 

Diana finally realized what sound that is, and what monster that sound come from.

"It can't be..."

When the city finally can take a breath of relief, they are forced to accept a frightened reality.

"What is that sound?"

"I don't know, maybe just a casual crack in the underground wall."

"But that cracked sound occurs few times now."

"Hey, what is that!?"

One folk pointing at one certain direction. A direction where the underground mountain wall cracks and looks like it's about to crumble. 

Fwing~ 

From that crack point, two pairs of eyes appeared, shining bright red. Not just that, in different directions, eight point total, other two pairs of eyes occurred too. 

Silence enveloped the entire city. As they did not want to believe what they are seeing. 

That boss monster shouldn't be able to appear on Blackish Mountain. Because underground city was not included in the Hunting Area from the start.

When all the people still shut their mouth. 

Boom. 

One Angry Golem emerge from the underground mountain wall. 

Boom.

The second Angry Golem emerge too. 

Boom.

The third.

Boom.

Boom.

Boom.

Boom.

Boom.

The fourth. The fifth. The sixth. The seventh. And finally, the eighth. 

Eight boss area emerged in the should-be-safe territory.

They stood in front of the underground wall, behind the underground city, menacingly. The eight of them just standing there in silent, but the underground city folks feel their back began to sweat, and swallowing their saliva unconsciously.

Suddenly, one of the Angry Golem stand up straight. Then -

Joooooooooooooooooohhhh~ 

Screams as he knows what reason he being born into the world. That is to destroy all things they can see.

The other seven Angry Golem, also screaming, give an unavoidable fear to the entire underground city.

That eight gigantic scream startled the underground city folks first. But when they realized the eight Angry Golem start to walk to their direction, they finally wake up from their dream. Believed that all the things that happened were real.

"Run away!"

Chaos occurs.

Many of them run away to any direction they see. Other group still trying to get in to the Guild Building even though the place already full. 

The unprecedented incident completely messed up the whole city.

- Giant boss monster golem. It has blackish bright eyes. Has body shape like gorillas. Their scream is frightening.

Liam and Elisa trembled in fear. Eight boss area emerged in one time and one place is a frightening view. 

Diana turns back to the two youngsters. "Start pedalling, Liam!"

Liam starts pedalling even when his hands still trembling. 

Little did they know, one of the eight Angry Golem grasping a giant soil ball, and throws the giant soil ball to them. 

Without turning back, Diana realized that incoming attack. She then pushed Liam and Elisa's mine cart.

"Waaaaaaa!"

"Kyaaaa!"

So they can dashed out from the terminal. 

After that sudden push - 

Boom.

Elisa and Liam startled by the sudden wind blow. 

When they finally getting far from the starting rail, they realized what was happened. 

"The entrance being blocked!"

That sudden wind blow must be the cause of it. 

Liam startled at first. So many things happened in just half of the day. 

He is afraid. Who is not? He is just a seventeen young men who has not experiencing real battle. 

But then he realized that Elisa was looking at him. Unlike him, Elisa looks like she is fine and she is ready to face everything they have to face.

It made Liam question his pride as a man, 'what the heck am I doing?'

Liam needs to ready himself. Even if he is afraid, even his hands are still trembling, he needs to move forward as he holds the responsibility of many lives of underground city.

"Let's go to other mountain and tell this to everyone!"

On other side of the trail rail. 

Diana can manage to avoid the incoming attack right after she pushed Liam and Elisa. "But, man, this is so crazy."

She turned back to look at the city. 

After blocking the only way out, the eight giant golem start to destroy all the building, walk and bulldoze whatever they step on, massacre every Hunter they see. 

That view is so frightening for anyone who didn't get used to it. 

"Gladly, they don't have to see all this."

Liam and Elisa might be so shocked if they still here, and it also the right choice that Diana made them get out from the city. 

"If not, it will be so hard for me to protect us three – "

As Diana starts walking, and wants to call out her power, she stopped in a second, because something is strange. 

"I can't, use Arts?"

Diana grasped her right hand tight. She cannot feel any Abyssal Mana, that should be everywhere. 

"Hm?"

Then she realized one thing. 

"The Void just now, erased all the Mana?"

Diana got goosebumps past her back.

[In the Floor 2 Abyss Pit, no Abyssal Mana can enter.]

Floor 2 Abyss Pit is a Void. Void is All-Emptiness. All-Emptiness is where the darkness and abnormalities questioned the world right. 

"That is not fully wrong!"

The Void just now is only lasted a while. But that made a huge difference in the atmosphere of the city.

"Why can't we use Arts?!"

"What happened to the Abyssal Mana stream!?"

"We can't fight back if we can't use Arts!?"

Everyone in the city asked the same thing. 

Angry Golem is a giant-hard made of rocks monster. Hunters cannot fight them if they cannot use Arts. 

Just like a knight cannot fight their opponent in the war without their sword. They can still fight, but they will easily get killed because their opponent is a giant golem and has high-level hardness. 

Fwiiiiiiiiiiiiiittt~ 

Diana tries to summon her Gryphon. But there is no sign that Griphy heard her calls.

"What else is wrong?!". 

Diana looks up to the sky, to a certain hole that gives light to underground. She tries to look observantly and finds that there is a transparency wall blocking the hole. 

That transparency wall is so thick. It can even block a strong whistle that can summon abyssal mount. 

"Can't use Arts. Can't summon your magical mount. Does this mean we have to do this like in the stone age? Using just our strength and fist to fight?"

Yes, it seems.

"Alright then, challenge accepted!"

Diana did some stretching first. When she is ready, she looks at one certain point. Where the Guild Building and Major Office building are.

She does standing start for long distance running. Then, when she is ready, she starts to run like a wind.
