The war has ended. There were a lot of wounds that Eria got in the process. But all that left is to recover and keep living for the better future.

Night /

With Ars becoming the King of Eria, that means the wives also move with him. 

They now got bigger and fancier room. Even so, they are not happy because of what they and Eria had been through.

That's why Ars would visit them in turns to soothe them.

First Night / Arlene's 

Ars came into his red-haired wife's room and found she was lying on the bed.

"Ars?"

Looks like she's not sleeping. She wakes up to greet her husband after work.

Like a wife waiting for her husband's return, Arlene took off Ars' robe and shirt.

Then she looked at her husband's naked body, which was covered in scars and a few months ago had lost his left hand.

It had been two months the last time they making out. To be honest, Ars really wanted to fuck his  red haired hot wife.

However, when he touches his wife's face, and tries to take a better look, his wife's face is so messed up.

Her usual beautiful tomboyish face, replaced with a tired face from constantly crying. Her eye bags are thick and black.

Her skin, which was usually soft and seductive, at that moment felt dry and dull.

Holding back his appetite, Ars invited his red-haired wife to a calming sleep.

He puts Arlene head to his right arm. So he can stroke his wife's head while they sleep. 

Of the five wives, Arlene got the most painful wound.

She lost her future child. The second chance she had destroyed by Abyssal Hunter's sworn enemy. 

"Am I not deserve them?"

In silence, Arlene suddenly asked that.

That is a painful question. She got pregnant twice. The first pregnancy was successful, but she lost her first child because of her first husband. The second pregnancy was failed because she was trying to protect her second husband. 

Of course it made Arlene very hurt. She thinks if she doesn't deserve to have children.

"Who said that?"

But Ars denied that thought.

It was like Ars will kill anyone who said that thing to her. 

That made Arlene calm a little, and hurt at the same time she has betrayed the hope of a husband who loves her.

Unable to hold the exhaustion, and the comfort of her husband's shoulder, Arlene fell asleep in sorrow.

The Second Night / Diana's 

Diana became the second wife to experience deep pain after the war. 

"Are both of you okay?"

Ars asked about the condition of Diana and the baby in her stomach.   

Diana was in bed, unable to get up because she got sick.

"The doctor said I just exhausted. And for this baby, thank god they are okay."

Even though she said that, a mother's health is the baby's too.

Ars stroking his wife forehead to give a warm feeling. 

Other than exhausted, what caused Diana's condition is her negativity. 

"Wouldn't it be better if you gave tonight's turn to the others first? I'll be okay. I just need to rest."

So she can't be left alone.

"It's okay. I've talked with them to be with you tonight."

For the past two days, Diana has not left her bed. 

During the day, she was visited by others, such as Elisa or her sisters. But, when the times come tonight, she was left alone, and it was quite dangerous for her.

"Is this karma for me?"

Prior to reuniting with her sisters, Diana lived a peaceful life on Floor 2, while her sisters were still dedicating their lives to moving forward every day.

So she was thinking that losing a sister very dear to her is the karma during her peaceful on Floor 2. 

"I read the report that Valkyrie Kiana died while protecting her sister. Does her sacrifice mean karma for you?"

There was a hint of anger in Ars' question.

Kiana died while trying to save her sister, and she managed to do that. So, if Diana thinks that Kiana's death is not necessary, then she meant that it's better for Leena the one who dies than Kiana.

That made Ars angry.

Diana took Ars's hand to put to her cheek, which started to shed tears.

"I'm sorry."

Ars did not respond to Diana's apology. 

He wiped his wife's tears, which also hurt to look at.

Third Night / Huxian's 

What Huxian wanted wasn't complicated, she just wanted Ars to be by her side.

"Do you want me to do anything, Ars?"

"What are you talking about? You're third trimester, focus on the thing in your belly."

"They are things, honey."

Huxian mentioned the baby in her belly with 'they', and changed 'thing' to 'things'. That's only means one thing. 

"There are two of them?" asked Ars, quite hyped up. 

Huxian answer with holding three of Ars' finger, then showed it to him. 

"There are three of them?!"

The number is arguably unusual. Because a birth with more than three babies is rare.

So that was why Huxian's belly got uncommonly bigger than usual pregnancy.

"I'm going to be a father of triplets."

Ars wanted to run out of the room and shout out his happiness to the world. 

Previously, there are four of Ars' wives who got pregnant. With Huxian's certainty, then Ars should be the father of six children from his four wives.

However, during the previous war, one of his wife got stabbed in her belly. As a result, Ars lost one child.

"Am I not doing hard enough?"

It caused Huxian, the strongest wife of all, to feel guilty.

Huxian sacrificed her ten Battle Servants to fight the Virtue of Purity. But that was barely enough to hold him. 

At the end of the battle, they lost a powerful ally, a future child, and a castle. 

"If only I had tried harder."

Maybe they could save one thing of the three. At least, the future child doesn't have to die.

"That's not everyone's fault."

But Ars convinced her to not think that way. 

"It was just the cruelty of a war. With me awake, I won't let that ever happen again."

Fourth Night / Skadi's

"Can you please punish me?"

Skadi welcomed her husband with that request and a guilty face. 

Skadi fought really hard back then. But there was a limit that an ordinary soldier couldn't enter. 

She didn't help much in the fight with the Virtue of Purity. The only thing she could do is to protect Arlene, which unfortunately, she failed to do so. 

"If only I'm the one to open mouth to stop him."

Arlene was the one to stop Cinderella to get close to Ars' room. 

That's why she was attacked by Cinderella. If Skadi who was the one trying to stop Cinderella, surely she will be the one targeted instead of Arlene. 

Even though, if that possibility happened, Skadi was in danger of dying because she was the only Healer there at that time.

"Then, take off my clothes."

Ars restrained his lust for three nights. Skadi will receive the three nights in one night.
