Hera reported everything that had happened since the appearance of Mountain Snail.

About Echidna was inside the Mountain Snail. 

The first attack launched by the Hunter League which killed about 100 people but did not reduce the enemy army. The second try where second division almost got wiped out by the Red Humanoid. Then the hopeless effort of Jade, Arlene, and Skadi. 

"Yes. With that, this League is in your hand now."

Hera was only there to replace Ars as the Acting Commander. Now Ars has returned, and it's all up to him.

"I appreciate all your efforts during my absence."

Ars did not deny his mistake. Because from the start, if he was there at the moment, everything would be under control, or at least he could give clearer orders without any clashes between members like what happened yesterday.

One thing, everyone may not be aware, but Hera could feel a difference in Ars.

"I am sorry to say this, but, you don't have to do all of that useless effort from the beginning."

Everyone shocked at Ars' statement. 

Hera was the only one who expected Ars saying that. 

"What did you say?"

The only person who could voice his objection was Derek, the Family Head of the Silver Lion.

Ars usually will feel offended when someone talks to him like that. But this time, he wisely accepted the objection.

"That is Catastrophe Beast, right? You guys said, Echidna must be there, controlling the beast, or not."

"What do you mean by that, Ars?" asked Hera, curious about Ars valuation.

Ars refers to Yamato, the Sin of Wrath.

Everyone gets the points Ars talked about.

"So, you believe that Echidna might be somewhere in Floor 2, controlling Mountain Snail from afar?"

"Probably. I'm not a summoner, but I can control thousands of my swords. That is very difficult work. To think that woman could control that big, and many monsters, with that, I also had the feeling that that woman could be inside that super large snail."

Ars' statement is very logical. He assessed the situation from all directions and wasn't just trying to break through to solve the problem.

But it turned out that Ars actually wise and rational.

"I said it's useless because it's useless. That super big snail is literally Catastrophe Beast. Even though that thing is a Demon King Servant's creation, it is still a monster that couldn't be against by numbers alone."

Ars revealed a very true point.

However, the atmosphere started to get a little noisy. 

Everyone in the Guild Hall whispered and agreed to blame Hera for all that futile effort. Because Hera was the Acting Commander who lead the League. 

Hera did not deny the accusation. However, she did not remain silent when all the blame was directed at her.

"Before the conference begins, I asked to all of you, are you going to evacuate, or defend this city? If you evacuated, then you will let this historic city be destroyed by the Catastrophe Beast. If you try to defend this city, we might be able to slow down the monster until this guy returned."

Hera refers to Ars before that moment. 

After Hera state her unacceptability, everyone in the room got silenced. That because all of them chose to defend the historic city with their life as the sacrifice. 

Ars just found out about it, and he felt guilty. Well, it can't be helped, Hera just said that important thing just now.

"So, that how it is. Alright, I withdraw my words earlier. That wasn't a useless effort, but hopeless effort. And, you have my thanks as trying to defend this city. I will definitely compensate all the soldiers who sacrificed their lives after this."

Nobody expected for Ars to say that just now. 

He was completely different from all the rumors regarding him. Or has he changed after being missing for more than a month? Nobody knows the answer.

The atmosphere calmed down. Nobody wanted to open their mouths after Ars opened his hands that wide.

Ars watching the broadcast stream of Mountain Snail. 

Because that was night, the drone in charge of broadcasting equipped with spotlights. 

Due to the black-like-birds' presence, broadcast drones flew far from Mountain Snail.

Ars could see the black-like-birds. They seemed to be creatures that could only be relied on when night fell.

Because they appeared just as the sun was about to set. 

If they weren't night creatures, then Echidna would have relied on them instead of Minions and Red Humanoids. Because they are more practical.

Or Echidna only take them out when the Minions and Red Humanoids are no longer useful. Like after Ars' arrival.

"Now, where are Huxian and Alexander?"

Ars did not find any reports about the two Emperors when the Catastrophe begin. 

"They refused my call. Alexander might be in his kingdom. Whereas Huxian is definitely still in the North Coast Palace."

They refused Hera's call to assist in the Mountain Snail attempt to stop them.

Ars could understand their choice. Because when faced with a power they couldn't face, the best option would be to keep quiet and wait for more strength to join with them.

Ars stand up from his sit, then pointed his left hand to stop Huxian from bumping to him.

Ars catches Huxian from the face. Grasping the Fox Goddess like a naughty cat.

Then Alexander appeared out of nowhere. 

Previously he must have turned into a single being that could move quickly, and transformed into himself afterwards.

Now, the three Emperor of Floor 2 have gathered. 

Everyone in the hall had no idea that this would happen before their very eyes.

Ars created a reddish circled with his swords, then they teleported somewhere.
