Labyrinth of Carnivorous Plants and Lizards / 

"Yikes." "It's so stinky."

When they are alone, the twins complaining to their heart content. 

"Ahhh~" "It smells so bad."

"Hang on a little longer."

It doesn't clean them of all the smelly liquid. But at least they can lighten the sickener on their heart.

Their party is resting, or rather stopped because they meet with another party.

Dustin is talking with the other sub-party leader quite far from them, so they cannot hear what the two leaders are talking about.

The Sword apprentices are doing the same, but they avoided so that the other party wouldn't smell their bad smell.

When his three member continued complaining, Aiden looked at the two sub-party leaders who seem are having a serious conversation. 

The curious Kane asked: "What do you think they are talking about?" 

The two party leaders are standing with their back at them. So it's hard to tell what are they talking about if you cannot see their expression. 

The two party leaders know how to avoid so their party will not fall into discomfort in that dangerous place.

"I don't know for sure, but we can't decide something before we gathered with the main party."

The main party is where the strongest hunter of all of them are. The other Platinum Hunter. 

"We need to take a bath." "Isn't any baths here?" 

The twins keep complaining about their condition. 

Not far from them, the Priest boys are looking at them with pity. As if they know what the Sword apprentice is feeling.

The twins are hooked on the Priest boys' condescension.

"Curse them." "Why are we equated on this expedition with them?"

They don't know for sure. Because that is their Sword master order; for them to take part in the expedition in the Labyrinth of Carnivorous Plants and Lizards.

But unfortunately, the Sword master himself couldn't come to escort them. Instead, Liliana escorted them. But the Deputy Administrator brought three Priest boys with her.

"Ahhh~" "We are really unlucky today."

They are fine with anybody except them. 

"No, if William didn't come, maybe we can make them help us," said Kane.

But the two rival: Aiden and William, that put in the same group, which is the problem. 

"You can ask them to heal you. You don't need to follow me."

It was Aiden's fault. He felt responsible about what they have been through. 

"Even if you don't want to ask them, the Priest lady from the party next door might want to help."

There party next door only has one priest with them. 

But since the first time they gathered, the Priest lady had been looking at the Sword apprentice with worry. 

"Isn't that the same as asking for treatment?" "Yeah, in the end they will look down on us!"

"Well, if I don't come with you maybe –"

"What are you saying?!" "We are in this together!" "If we die!" "We die together!"

That is a stupid way of thinking. But Aiden can't comment too much on that because he is the worst of all of them when he is risking his self-esteem. 

Aiden smile in regret. He felt even more stupid because he doubted the loyalty of his friends.

Right after they had tighter the rope of trust between themselves, Dustin finally finished the meeting.

"Party! Assemble!"

The party assemble severally. 

Dustin seems is going to announce something important about the continuation of their expedition.

"First, I want to say sorry. Due to some reasons, I cannot take you any further than this. That means we are going to go back."

The Sword apprentices felt a bit disappointed, but that meant they could go back to the city and take a bath.

"Aww, that is so unfortunate."

The one who was talking is one William's subordinates.

"Though we want to see the end of this dungeon."

[The Lizard King palace]. It is the boss room of the labyrinth where they will witness the battle with boss monsters firsthand. 

Of course, the Priest boys are not actually want to do that. But now that they must return, they cannot see the Sword apprentices get tormented again. 

"Hey-hey." "Don't be spoiled like that."

To think the Sword apprentices will get mad at them, but they are not. They try to act mature over the Priest boys' complaints instead. 

"We are only apprentices in this expedition." "If Sir Dustin said there is something that makes us have to go back – " "Then we have to go back." 

When against William's subordinates, the twins are enough to win at them. 

"Shut up!"

"We know that already!"

Their bickering looked like an ordinary match between rivals. So Dustin didn't have to step in to stop them.

"Well, once you are graduated and can become an independent Hunter, come to me, I might get you a party so you can take part in this expedition one more time."

That gives hope to the two rival groups. Although from the priests' side, they were still annoyed that Dustin spoke as if they are actually a spoiled group. 

"Ready to go back then?"

"Yes, sir!"

They started walking again, but headed towards the back.

Due to the capricious nature of the labyrinth, they had to turn, jump, and get past the traps of Carnivorous Plants once again.

But this time, the Sword apprentices are becoming more aware, and most of the time succeeded in avoiding every trap. 

That makes Dustin proud. 

"You get used to this Labyrinth so quickly in just one expedition."

A compliment from Platinum Hunter makes the Sword apprentice big-headed.

"Ahaha!" "Maybe it's because our Sword Master train us well to get used to every possibility!"

"Your Sword Master?"

Dustin knows the church is giving the children like them free education. But he did not expect that just a swordsman could forge four great youths like the Sword apprentices.

"Yes!" "He is Master Arsen!" "He just comes two months ago to the church!" "But he taught us really well!" "And makes us this strong!"

The twins can't get enough on boasting their Sword Master.

Just hearing such name, makes Dustin wonder who is the guy. If he is that strong, he must be a Legend. 

But suddenly, when the twins are jumping from higher ground to another, behind, William cast a simple [Wind Arts] that launched to Henry - 

"Harry!"

- to Harry. 

Harry slipped and fall to the surfaces. Unfortunately, the surfaces seem like a trap plant. 

Don't want to fall on that trap, Harry makes a bat. 

"I don't want to feel that disgusting thing anymore. Yeaaaah, take this! [Sword Shot]!"

Harry shot one of his wooden sword to the surface. 

The shot creates an explosion large enough to destroy the surface where Harry is about to fall.

Harry landed to surface without a problem. After that, from the shattered surface, appeared the bodily fluids of a monster that came from the Gigantus Venus.

"Woah! You did it, Harry!"

"Woahaha! I'm so proud of you, my brutha!" "Haha, praise me more!"

The Sword apprentices look like will not fall into the same trap ever again. Well, that doesn't apply if the Labyrinth given an update by the developer, God of Abyss.

It looks like Dustin doesn't have to worry about the Sword apprentices too much. Their Sword Master already gave them a lesson, so they can face any battle that comes to them. 

But one thing that makes him wonder. "What's with the previous [Sword Shot]?"

From what Dustin saw, [Sword Shot] is a skill that requires the user to launch/shot a sword to attack their target. 

"I never knew that a Hunter would throw their weapon to become an attack."

That is unfortunate also. To throw your thing to become an attack. 

"That is why." "We bring few swords with us." "Also, all of our swords are just wooden sword."

Dustin just realized the Sword apprentices used a scabbard that can be put three wooden swords in it. 

"This is a special scabbard." "That is only given for Sword apprentices."

Dustin is surprised one more time. But his previous question yet given an answered. 

"About the [Sword Shot]," Kane takes over the conversation. "That is our way of using [Sword Caster-ing]."

"Sword Caster-ing?"

Dustin seems will get deeper into the topic because he is curious, He is like a new kid in a physic class who curious about the secret skills that were taught in the class.

But Kane doubted on wanting to answer that. "I don't know if I'm capable of explaining [Sword Caster-ing]. All I can say is, it is a unique way of combining an Arts and swords, and the way we use it is unusual like when we used Abyssal Arts. It is Abyssal Arts, but, it's just different."

That is Kane's limit on explaining their way of swordsmanship. 

Dustin realized that and stop pushing a question to the apprentices. 

The close relationship between the Platinum Hunter and Sword apprentices made Priest boys jealous. But they can't do anything about it.

They walked back by following the Platinum Hunter who used to the Labyrinth.

"Btw, Sir Dustin." "How do you know we are actually heading back to the start?"

On the twin's question, Dustin pointed upward. 

All the apprentices looked up and only see harmless wild plants. 

"Can you see where their flowers are pointing?"

"To." "There?"

"That is where the boss room are."

With that simple explanation, the apprentices immediately understand how it works. 

"Wow, that's so cool!" "It was like part training two!"

Because they already know where to head, the Sword apprentices excitedly ran first. 

Dustin let them do what they want at first. But, when they just about close to the starting point.

"You guys, stop!"

Dustin suddenly stopped their feet. Then he ran towards the front line. 

The apprentices realized that Dustin is entering his battle mode. Because they also feel that there is something wrong waiting ahead.

"Show yourself!"

Dustin's order made one certain creature get out from the darkness. 

He is just like a normal male human, but he has a reptile tail, and his whole body is reptile skin. 

A Lizard monster? No, he is more like – "A demon?"
