Saint Arcane Church / North Field

Afternoon / 

Afternoon is the time for physical lesson. The north field is the classroom. 

The teacher has started the class and the students have started doing the lesson.

Not far from the physic class, Elisa, La and Li are watching for a moment. 

"There are just a few of them."

Indeed, the physical class only has four students, and the teacher specifically teaches swordsmanship.

"Sir Arsen, just come one day before your return." "But he already creating commotion because of his appearance."

A handsome man with sharp eyes. Has the body shape of a warrior. Shoulder length hair that adds to his charm of a grown man. Especially, his voice and gentle demeanor could easily melt the hearts of others.

"Focus on your shoulders and arms. To be able to hold a sword firmly, you must have trained shoulders and arms."

He is the ideal teacher that all the residents of Saint Arcane Church have been waiting for.

How is it not? Three male senior teacher in the church are just adult teachers with heads starting to lose their hair. Compared to the young, handsome teacher, they are considered like the heavens and the earth.

"But fortunately he is teaching sword play!"

Suddenly, here comes one group of students lead by a certain couple. 

"William!" "Alina!"

Those two is a famous couple because of their – "Bitchy attitude!" "They will always have things they can mock!" "And feel that they are both the smartest students in the school!"

La and Li casually mock them. 

That raised Alina's temper. "You dolls always have words to say to me, eh?!"

Alina drew closer to the twin. 

"Eliz!" 

The twin immediately ran behind Elisa, seeking cover.

In front of Elisa, Alina couldn't move forward anymore. She retreated instead, returning to her position next to William.

"Long time no see, Elizabeth." 

Alina greets Elisa, of course, with her bitchy expression in face. 

"Yes, indeed. Seven months is quite a long time away from home."

Elisa responded with her usual arrogant face that she hadn't used for quite a long time.

Alina smirked. "Well, why don't you make it to one, or two years? Or don't even care to come back again? This place is fine without you."

"That's just for you!" "Yeah! It better be you who aren't here than Eliz!"

Alina gives an evil goddess stare to the twins. Shut them in scared.

"Well, even if you are here, it wouldn't get in William's way of becoming the successor of Saint of Staff. Right, William?"

Alina's lover, William, ignored the quarrels between the girls, and only focused on watching the physical class.

The physical class moving to their next lesson, to the part where they started using wooden swords.

Watching that scene made William smirked and shook his head. 

"What a waste of time." He said as start walking back to his original destination. 

Alina mocked Elisa with her bitchy face as she followed William. 

The bitchy group finally gone from the scene. Leaving annoyance to the twin and Elisa. 

"One, two!"

"One, two!"

Suddenly the physic class shouting while doing their training. 

Elisa once again looking at the new teach, Arsen. He definitely is Ars. But why his hair suddenly become long? And does 'Arsen' is just a made-up name to hide his true identity? 

Elisa cannot find all those answers without asking to the person directly. But of course she will not do that now.

"Let's go."

She leads the three of them to their original destination, the library. 

On the way to the library, La and Li starts telling Elisa about the new teach. 

"It's been quite a while since there have been physical teachers teaching other subjects besides Abyssal Arts and Priest classes." "Yes, the last time there is a physical teach is when Elisa gone to her journey." 

"If I'm not wrong, he is a Monk teaching martial arts, right? Why did he stop teaching?"

La and Li look at each other, recalling one heartbreaking event. 

"The Monk did not have a student to teach." "When finally there were students who wanted to study his martial arts – " "They make fun of him during his lesson." "Even so, the Monk persisted in teaching his martial arts." "However, Miss Liliana aware of that event." "She called the insolent students." "Then give them a moral lesson for the whole night."

"What about the monk?"

"He being called by Mother Maria." "Then the next day he said goodbye and leave." "What a manly man." "What a manly monk."

La and Li shed tears because remembered the heartbreaking story of the manly monk.

Meanwhile Elisa just wryly smiled, don't know how to react. 

They arrived at the library. But La and Li are still going on telling about the new teach, of course with lower their voice. 

"But Sir Arsen is a lucky one." "Yes, Aiden and the other three are interested on learning swordsmanship." "Even though there is still awkwardness between them - " "Sir Arsen charm can handle that." "And they can practice regardless of their surroundings."

"Yes-yes."

Elisa finds the book she is looking for, then wants to start focused on reading. But the twin is still going on. 

"You know what – " "Eliz?"

"What is it, again?"

"Sir Arsen appeared on his first day straight out of the cathedral." "He appeared unannounced by Lady Sylvia."

West district is forbidden for men. When a man wants to go to church, he must first get permission from the Sylvia Shield. But Elisa knows who Ars is, and that won't stop him from doing what he wants.

"Hmm."

Even though she is still annoyed because the man she hated was came directly to the cathedral, the place where their Mother Priest is. That will not bother her.

"When he first get out from the cathedral – " "The whole church got shocked."

Well, of course, who wouldn't be surprised if a man suddenly appeared out of nowhere?

"Miss Liliana immediately came to meet Sir Arsen." "Sir Arsen said he – "

"My name is Arsen. I am an Abyssal Envoy. I descended from the sky at Maria's summons to become the sword teacher in this school."

While all the church residents shocked at his sudden appearance, he spoke as if it was a first chapter of a fantasy story.

Maria doesn't believe in such bullshit. However, Ars told that he being summoned by the Administrator of the church. That makes her cannot issue a reckless order. 

There were she wanted to test Arsen swordsmanship. 

The female senior teacher versus a random long haired dude. 

Both of them are using wooden swords. Standing two meters away from each other. Holding their sword with their own swordsmanship.

Liliana using her British style. While Arsen just casually holding his sword with left hand and lift it in midair. 

It looks like Arsen is underestimating Liliana. But the senior teacher actually felt a great pressure from that casually-standing guy. 

Doesn't want to look shame, Liliana charges forward.

Didn't know how, Arsen fend Liliana's sword while his sword at Liliana's neck at the same time. His right hand holds Liliana's left hand, restrain the senior teacher as he can do anything with her if he wants. 

Liliana lose the battle. That was such a shame because they being watched by the whole church. But she has to admit her defeat and let the winner decided the penalty. 

Arsen unhesitatingly drew closer to Liliana, to her left ear precisely.

That makes the grown woman's heart pounding somehow.

"Some say that Miss Liliana should make Sir Arsen the sword teacher without any problems." "But some say Miss Liliana has to obey all Sir Arsen's order, and that order is just one of them." "Yes, if we were in Miss Liliana's position." "We will definitely obey all the orders that he gives."

La and Li fangirling over the new teach. Meanwhile, that phenomenon amused Elisa. 

"Huh, what a playboy. We must not let him become a main character because he is too masculine and doesn't relate to the readers."

"But that was not my choice."

Suddenly, a gentle deep voice of someone come from their behind. 

"Sir – " "Arsen!"

La and Li cannot hide their shocked. Arsen put his finger to his mouth, telling the twin to be quiet. 

"We are – " "Sorry."

The teacher who is being talked about has come. But Elisa had no intention to look at him.

"We are sorry, but – " "Why are you here, Sir Arsen?"

"I'm here to continue my search for the book regarding [Sword Caster-ing]."

Arsen has been looking for the book since yesterday. But no one in the church knew of its existence. Arsen only know that all the original Legend Hunters' notebooks well-kept in the library.

"Then how about your students?" "Is it okay for you to leave them?"

"Don't worry, they're doing 1000 swings. One swing takes 2 seconds, 3 seconds if they start to tire. So it took them 35 to 40 minutes to complete 1000 swings. I take half the time to do this and will come back after 15 or 20 minutes."

La and Li fascinated. They don't know what Arsen was talking about, but that sound cool and it fascinated them. 

Suddenly, Elisa stands up from her chair. 

"Eliz?" "Where are you going?"

Then the girl leave the scene in annoyance somehow. 

Before following Elisa, La and Li bowed to Arsen. 

"We are sorry – " "Sir Arsen."

The twin politely left the teacher. Leaving the teacher alone to do his business. 

Watching the group of three girls get away from you by the time you get close to them is quite hurting the heart. But that didn't bother Ars at all.

One thing still concerned him is the blonde girl's statement. 

"It was not our choice to be born in this world."
