Throne Of Time

Chapter 86 - 85 - I-Island (4)

Along with the armed men, a large-bodied man with bright red hair entered from the door. His yellow eyes evoked fear in everyone in the room.

Seeing this person with a distorted iron mask on his face, everyone immediately understood that he was the leader of this terroristic operation.

In his hand was a pistol, which all related heroes have identified as the AMT Hardballer model. It is a model that is undoubtedly old-fashioned compared to the current time but effective despite everything. Not to mention that all the heroes were bound, while civilians panicked.

This person, seeing everyone panicked, gave a grin.

"Welcome, did you like my surprise for this evening? And as you well understood, today you will be my dearest guests on this island. So if you do me this favor, all lower yourself to the ground and do not resist. Or, the civilians and unharmed people present and all those outside, well, I think you understand the situation."

His long speech made everyone present understand what happened. These terrorists have targeted the entire island, blocking the system and controlling it.

A place equal to that of Tartaros.

Hearing the man's words, David Shield immediately swore in a low voice so as not to be heard.

Kurumi, who was next to the scientist, heard it clearly, but she didn't say anything for this very reason. She remained silent, observing how things would unfold.

Yet, even if that was her wish, things don't always go the right way.

Walking through the hall, the man slowly arrived in front of a person, a robust man of a certain age, but who, contrary to his age, still has bright blond hair and two blue eyes.

"Well, well, well, look who we have here. I think you really are a scientist, my instinct tells me."

The masked man said. He then brought his gun close to the scientist's face, giving him a small hit on his cheek with the gun barrel made entirely of steel.

"So, you are, or you are not … you better not lie, your identity card on your ċhėst doesn't lie, Samuel Abraham," he continued to ask with a threatening air. The robust scientist understood that his life at this time was in this person's hands.

He doesn't want to die in this place, and certainly not in this way. Because of this, with sweat running down his forehead, he replied in a shaky voice, "Y-Yes, I'm a scientist from this island ..."

David Shield, next to Kurumi, seeing this scene, immediately stood up, regardless of his safety, and shouted in the middle of the hall whose only voice present was that of the leader, who was bending over to look at the panicked scientist, "Don't! He is my ȧssistant. What do you want from him!"

The man, without too much haste, turned around, and looked at this prominent world-renowned scientist, "Look who we have here, the famous David Shield, if it wasn't the moment in which we find ourselves in, I would definitely toast your health, you know?"

Turning to one of his henchmen, the man nodded. The person to whom the leader addressed understood the leader's gesture, and for this reason, he immediately pointed the rifle at David Shield's back.

Yet, just as if it were a twist of fate, his yellow eyes, just like a wolf's, moved slightly to David Shield's right.

Without saying a word, with his back slightly lowered, just like when a hunter encounters its prey and is ready to lunge at it, he approached, to then immediately point the gun at Kurumi's forehead.

His mocking smile quickly made an appearance, "Miss Tokisaki, I hope this greeting didn't bother you, but you know, I hope you can come with me. There is something that requires your presence."

A great voice came from the stage, "Bastard!"

"Come on, All Might, be a good prisoner and don't get in the way," the man replied to the angry voice of the hero who was about to give his speech on stage. After that, he gestured in the direction of another henchman, who immediately carried out the order.

Approaching All Might, the man kicked with the padded iron boot. This knocked All Might, who was bȧrėly standing due to the ribbon tying him, after which the gun barrel of the minion met the hero's temple.

The leader, looking at the miserable appearance of All Might, especially those two eyes that seemed to have flames of hatred inside, made his heart full of pride in himself. For this reason, he laughed out loud, full of joy, "Hahaha, how does it feel to be so weak, so insignificant, and unable to protect anyone here! Eh, All Might ?!"

This laugh lasted a few seconds, but it was enough to frighten everyone present, even more, their bodies started shaking more than before. They saw how hero number one was also stuck and could not save them.

Gradually, everyone present understood that the hero so high in their hearts, in the end, is nothing much. A high-level hero like All Might unable to move, unable to act, and capture these criminals to save ordinary citizens from the so-called terrorist attack.

All the people in the reception could never have imagined something like this. Their feeble mind was powerless.

Slowly, without these people noticing, All Might's heroic, invincible image was starting to shatter in their hearts, like when someone throws a rock at a mirror.

After laughing, the leader immediately said in a commanding tone to the person who was aiming the rifle behind David Shield's back, "Go."

All Might's fist clenched even more forcefully as he saw that both David Shield and his ȧssistant were taken away. Who knows where and to do what.

All Might was really anxious right now. His old friend was captured and brought somewhere; Kurumi was also captured by the leader and taken hostage by him directly.

He never felt so powerless to do anything.

Unlike the two, Kurumi was always held hostage by the organization's leader. Not even Kurumi knew the reason for this obsession with her. Her Quirk cannot possibly have leaked to the public, remaining only in the minds of the teachers of the U.A. High School and Principal Nezu's archives.

Even though the little rodent always tries to play with her, Kurumi knows with certainty that he wouldn't hand over her information to the government. Nezu knows very well what the government would be capable of to get her power to control the time.

Slowly, time passed, second by second, minute by minute, until, at a certain point, a phone call arrived in the leader's earphone.

That phone call was immediately accepted by the leader. However, his brow furrowed after hearing what his team members on the top floor told him.

"What? Lock them with the security systems from floor 80. I don't want ants to start bothering my plan."

However, everyone could see that the leader's patience failed. More and more communications came.

"Tch, what a bunch of incompetent," he snorted. He then circled around Kurumi, still pointing his gun towards her head. After a full circle, he stopped, and, with his pistol now pointing towards the back of Kurumi's head, he told her, "Walk to the elevator."

But before leaving the room, the man turned around for a second to say to all the members of his organization present, "Make no mistake, or you know what I'm going to do."

"Looks like your thugs aren't doing their job," Kurumi said softly with a smile on her mouth.

"Mphm, a bunch of clueless, and if you don't shut up, you get a bullet in the head, To-ki-sa-ki," he replied.

They both went into the elevator, with the man placing a card next to the scanner inside the elevator.

"Identity confirmed, where would you like to go, Dr. Samuel Abraham?" a female but robotic voice reached the ears of the two.

The man did not seem to care what name was uttered while he used the card.

In a concise tone, he replied, "200th floor."

"Really? But ... are we sure you really want to kill me?" Kurumi asked after a few seconds. Kurumi's red-eye became more and more crimson. There was a certain vibration in her voice that even the man could perceive. "Why did you target me, and not All Might? After all, he's the number one hero of this society. Catching him would help, wouldn't it?"

His finger slipped on the trigger, his expression grim, devoid of emotion, his yellow eyes were furious, ready to attack and tear the prey to pieces.

Then, the resonant sound came, deafening in its thunderous exultation, the bullet departed from that now antiquated gun, but always in the man's hand as if it were his most precious jewel.

The bullet tore through the air a few centimeters before it went to pierce Kurumi's side, leaving a crimson red stain, which was slowly spreading more and more.

Kurumi's brows twitched, but no groan of pain escaped those lips of hers. This time Kurumi understood. The man didn't care at all about her life or her death. What he only cared about was keeping her hostage.

That's what Kurumi figured out, holding her hostage to avoid All Might. Kurumi Tokisaki has a special relationship with All Might; every media announced this in their news.

Even though this bullet didn't hit any vital points, it left Kurumi with pounding pains. Although Kurumi's pain tolerance is excellent, she doesn't know why that single metal bullet, now soiled with her blood, makes her so painful.

All For One, when she called, did not disclose any information that was too detailed, just something superficial. She knows that it did not reveal anything because of Tomura Shigaraki. Even if that "child" is believed to be the successor of All For One, Kurumi would not think it in the least.

She would not see him, a person so much manipulative, the same person who has dominated an entire era, whose eyes have seen "flames" going on and off, giving the power that he has worked so hard to someone else.

Kurumi had to admit she took this new life with a tone of sarcasm. By now, she had already lived a life, no, more than once.

The elevator didn't take too long to get to the top floor. The two metal doors opened, letting both of them see what lay beyond.

A massive floor with reinforced concrete walls and metal plates covering parts of this aforementioned wall. Long luminous streaks of a blue color covered the ceiling, branching out to all the various corridors.

Then, a discordant voice reached the girl's ears, "Walk."
