Throne Of Time

Chapter 83 - 82 - I-Island (1)

"So that is the famous I-Island, uh…" murmured Kurumi, looking at that artificial island in the middle of the ocean near the end of her sight.

I-Island is the most prominent place in the entire world for Quirk research and gadgets for Pro Heroes in the whole world. It boasts the highest number of scientists in a single location, over ten thousand.

"Miss Kurumi, this is the Sachertorte you ordered," said a flight attendant while lowering a plate in front of Kurumi.

On top of that plate was the cake she had ordered previously.

"Our Sachertorte has very soft layers of chocolate sponge with, between various layers, a layer of apricot jam from Galàtone in Italy, and finally a Trinity Truffles Extraordinaire chocolate glaze to wrap it around."

Smiling, Kurumi said to the person a thank you.

"I hope Miss Kurumi likes it. If you need anything else, please call us, and we will be with you immediately." After saying this, the flight attendant bowed slightly, slowly closing the cabin door where Kurumi was located.

Slowly bringing a small piece of the cake towards her mouth, Kurumi showed a surprised expression. It was truly delicious. For this reason, she closed her eyes to savor it more deeply.

In the end, time slowly passed, and the private jet towards the I-Island arrived.

"What kind of surprise will you bring to me, League of Villains?" said Kurumi while looking at the modern and futuristic city outside of the window of the jet.

Kurumi knew from the very beginning they would attack here. Having a clone of her inside the villains means she has access to a lot more information, and unlike the hero's side, the League of Villains doesn't hide information from her since she is one of the leading members.

"Wolfram, was it?" Kurumi murmured an unknown name.

"But it's really okay for me to come with you?" asked Midoriya with a surprised expression. His favorite hero of all time invited him to go with him to I-Island, the same place where he dreamed of going at least once.

"There was not… Tokisaki-sensei? Why did you decide to invite me?" continued the freckled boy.

Hearing the question from his successor, All Might did not change face in the slightest outside, "You know, Kurumi had an invite too in the first place, so she decided to go through that."

'You can not really tell him that at first, you decided to invite Kurumi, the principal Nezu, after all, asked for this….' said to himself the hero.

"I see, after all, a teacher from the U.A. High School such as Tokisaki-sensei, it would be normal to get invited, especially since everyone in public doesn't really know which Quirk Tokisaki-sensei has. I think the I-Island management team saw this as an opportunity to do in-depth research, and for this reason, they asked Tokisaki-sensei to come and help them in research or try to learn what kind of Quirk she has—"

"Midoriya-shounen…" said All Might, interrupting the kid's fantasies and habit.

"Ah, sorry, All Might!" said Midoriya, immediately seeing that he started mumbling once more.

"Haha, don't worry, Midoriya-shounen, after all, we have arrived at our destination, and I, All Might, must keep the transformation the whole day!"

In fact, right when Midoriya was speaking to himself and all the possible ideas, the announcement came to say that they had arrived at their destination.

All Might could not present himself with his weak and skinny look to the public; for this reason, he had to transform using the last flame that One For All left in his body.

"Prepare your costume. You asked the school for it."

"Yes!"

"What a high level of technology this island has," said Kurumi; it was something for her eyes to see all her data displayed on various holograms that were popping up slowly while she was transported.

While she knew this island was the leading force in technology and research, it was surprising to see that this entire world was so advanced technologically in some places. In others, it was like an everyday place.

Bringing her eyes up, Kurumi observed the confirmation with her data. On the screen on top of the door, "Identity Confirmed."

After that, the previously locked doors slowly opened, revealing the inside to Kurumi.

While everyone who knew that she was coming thought she was invited as a hero, few people knew she was invited as a writer. Her permission was not a hero, but simply a tourist with more advantages than the typical visitor.

"Let's make full of this experience while we can," murmured Kurumi while going inside the crowd.

She was not recognized for not having a hero costume and her astral dress, allowing her to slowly visit various attractions.

Obviously, it is impossible to not get recognized. In fact, a few times it happened that she was found, but between all these people, finding a specific person, it's like trying to search a needle in the middle of a haystack.

Not to mention Kurumi it's not wearing a particular dress that shows off her figure; she is wearing a simple white shirt, a skirt, and black stockings.

At that moment, an explosion sounded, making her look in that specific direction. An area full of rocks was the event in question, and explosions kept ringing without pause between each other.

Kurumi knew what kind of event it was, a "villain" attack-type.

This type of event always brought her attention. She is easy-going and always curious. This brings her to explore new things, not to mention this is rarely seen, so, without blocking this curiosity of hers, Kurumi went towards that event.

The first thing she saw when she entered the stadium was a field full of rocks and placed randomly in these rocks; there were robots, which should serve as "villains."

Kurumi saw many people she recognized at first glance.

The explosive blonde hair who kept yelling at his classmates was too recognizable. Kurumi could not miss him; even in the middle of the group, he would be the focus.

The event was pretty fun. Kurumi must admit that all students who participated in this event did well.

Still, Kurumi did not speak to them after everyone who came as heroes tried it. It was not her intention at that moment; this is because her phone received a call.

Looking at the name on her phone's screen, Kurumi showed a pensive look for a second before pressing the "accept" buŧŧon.

Before she could say anything, a cough came from the other end of the phone, with a few words after.

"Sorry, Kurumi."

"No, no problem at all, Toshinori, so, what do I owe this call?" said Kurumi in a joking tone of voice.

"Haha, could you please come to this address? I know you are now on I-Island wandering around. There is an old friend of mine who would like to meet you."

At that moment, a location came through a private message with All Might, indicating where the hero is.

"Is there anything else?" continued Kurumi. It's nothing surprising for Kurumi to ask this. After all, All Might usually never calls her since both are teachers from U.A. High School, and both come back simultaneously at home. For this reason, she showed a pensive look on her face when she read the caller.

"No, nothing else, uh… see you soon, I guess."

The call after that was disconnected, leaving Kurumi in silence.
