Throne Of Time

Chapter 71 - 70 - Hero Names and Offers

"The recent attack against the heroes dealt a severe blow to the society, after all an event where more than six heroes died simultaneously, never happened since the old age," said a rodent with some papers in his hands.

"Incredible," murmured Midnight looking at the papers the principal distributed before.

While every hero spoke about this colossal event, only two people were silent, not knowing what they were thinking inside their minds.

The first one was Kurumi. She was silent, with a neutral expression on her face while her single red eye looked at the papers.

And lastly, the second one was Aizawa, his expression was difficult to read, but he also was afflicted inside by this "incident" in which many heroes died.

The point is that this thing happened right on the day of the Sports Festival, thus making a massive scandal in society.

Every hero watched a tournament in which kids use their Quirks, neglecting their work as heroes. This thing is what the voice on the internet, the media, and every place speak about.

At the school's minimum error, the media did not hesitate to attack to reduce its credibility, and this time, they managed to strike a severe blow.

As the principal said, more than six heroes died at the hands of a single villain since both Ingenium and Mirko spoke in detail about this event.

At the same time, the name of League of Villains came out strong as a comet.

The society nearly fell to its knees, hearing that not only this group managed to infiltrate and nearly kill off every student and future hero of this society but also that a single person managed to kill several pro heroes.

Aizawa brought his eyes from the papers towards the only person besides him to have never spoken about this event.

His expression is complicated, watching Kurumi.

After minutes and minutes of discussion, every person was allowed to leave, starting from Aizawa to lastly Kurumi. Both of them have to go to class. After all, today, these aspiring heroes have to choose their first hero names.

Together with them, there was Midnight too, who was the teacher in charge of this session.

Opening the door of the classroom, Aizawa said with his usual lazy tone of voice, "Ok, go to your places, the lesson is going to start right now..."

After Aizawa, Kurumi came in too. This time she removed the neutral expression she had before to put back the smile she always has on.

"Today is a special day..." continued Aizawa, "you will choose after all the first hero name that will accompany you for some time."

The class immediately exploded in a huge cheer. The before serious expressions now turned into happy smiles. Aizawa seeing that, too, showed a slight smile.

After that, he made a slight cough. With this, the cheers went down, even if the students kept their smiles.

"Today, a special hero will check with us your titles..."

After hearing that, the class exploded one more time, this time with more vigor.

"Is Tokisaki-sensei going to be the teacher Aizawa-sensei just spoke about?"

"Perhaps it is Tokisaki-sensei?!"

Many students immediately said this, even if many of these students were males, mainly a particular grape student shouted using more excitement than the others.

Aizawa stayed silent for a few seconds before sighing, "No, it's not Tokisaki-sensei. It's Midnight."

After Aizawa finished speaking, a person opened the classroom door, the same person who hosted the first year's tournament at the Sports Festival, Midnight.

Just that a lot of sighs of disappointment came after Aizawa said that.

"Why? Are you perhaps not happy with me?!" said with a "smile" Midnight towards the students.

Just that this made the students in a way "scared." Even if her smile was a bit weird and "angry," it wasn't enough to make the students tremble. What caused that, though, is the whip that the hero waved against the floor, creating a smacking sound.

A student could not help but raise his hand, "Bringing a whip at school is allowed?"

"Listen, now I want you to create your hero name, understood?" said Midnight, looking around the class, while she licked the corner of her lips seductively.

"Yes, ma'am!"

After that, through a continuous series of tries, everyone chose their names; it was a long process, especially with a certain blonde who kept shouting absurd words for the hero name.

Aizawa nodded, seeing that everyone chose their names.

"Since you chose your hero names, what is left is only one, and that is to tell you the results of the draft pick."

Aizawa then turned around and made the blackboard show the results he just spoke about, with all the students' eyes looking at the screen.

The results made some people excited, while for others, it made them sigh in disappointment. Still, if there is one thing in common, it is the fact that the number one person, it's not Bakugo or Todoroki as many people expected them to be.

Aizawa did not know how many times he sighed today, "As many of you can see, the first place is Tokisaki-sensei, which is surprising, the second place is Todoroki with the third being Bakugo, the rest you can see it."

"Still, as many Pro Heroes probably don't know, Tokisaki-sensei is not a student but a full-fledged pro hero. This thing makes her unable to be chosen."

After which, Aizawa gave Kurumi a series of papers that she had to give to every single student, apart from some.

Aizawa stopped for a second, after which he continued to say, "In these papers, there are all the heroes that chose you for a possible internship in their agencies. I hope you will take a serious look at it."

Every student, after that, looked through the list given to them by Kurumi. Everyone's expression was severe, while others were more chill.

Just at one point, one student said in a loud tone of voice, "Wait, Tokisaki-sensei picked me?!"

The one student that spoke is precisely Tenya Ida. His eyes showed an incredible look. For this reason, he had to fix the glasses with his index finger.

"Have you perhaps forgotten what I just said?" said Aizawa looking towards his student.

Hearing this from his teacher, Iida thought about this thing, for not even a second, coming up with the solution.

"Teacher, you said before Tokisaki-sensei is a Pro Hero, is this what you meant?" asked Iida with a positive tone of voice, like someone who knew the answer but still wanted to confirm it.

"Exactly..." replied Aizawa to then look at Kurumi, who was in silence with a smile. Even to him, this is something incredible. He doesn't know what sometimes this principal of this school thinks. After all, he invited him to teach here, even knowing he would be lazy.

Still, giving the license for heroic activities to this person and letting her pick up students for the internship is something excessive even for himself.
