Throne Of Time

Chapter 30 - 29 - Test (1)

Nezu looked in the direction of Kurumi, who sat on the opposite side of where he is, and said, "We are here today, to discuss with Tokisaki-san about her candidacy, I personally have already spoken with her."

Then looking at the heroes gathered in the room, he continued, "I gathered the rest of you here, to understand if you wanted to ask something to her, but mostly to meet Tokisaki Kurumi."

Once finished, he looked at Aizawa in particular with a smile, sitting listlessly on his chair with his eyes closed "But I see that some of you have already done it."

The principal received only an "Umph" in response.

After a few seconds, someone spoke, "I don't think there is any need to say anything if the principal has already confirmed it, so I don't see why I need to say no. Also, I don't see any problems with her character."

Turning her head, Kurumi noticed that the person who just said this, is a tall, curvaceous woman with sky blue eyes, she also has abundant spiky dark purple hair.

So with a smile, Kurumi said, "Thanks."

At the woman's words, the other professors also nodded, apart from obviously Aizawa, who, in the meantime, remained silent.

Seeing that everyone confirmed, and nobody wanted to add anything, Nezu said, "Perfect, Tokisaki-san, now Miss Nemuri or the hero "Midnight," will accompany you to the room where you will take the written test. In an hour and twenty minutes, we will go through a bus to the field test site."

Listening to the principal Kurumi nodded. Therefore, seeing that Nemuri got up, Kurumi also got up following her.

As Kurumi left the room, Aizawa, who has remained silent until then with a sigh, looked at the principal "... I'm going too."

So, getting up, he also went out, and shortly after, the other heroes also went out, leaving the principal alone with All Might.

All Might, noting that everyone has gone out, looking at the "mouse," he also said, "Better go too," then he got up from his seat.

Just then, Nezu, who has been silent so far, said, "Wait, All Might, I wanted to ask you, do you know what the girl's Quirk is?"

Hearing the headmaster's question, All Might shook his head and then left the room, leaving the headmaster alone who, after some time, got up and left to go to his office.

Instead, Kurumi, who in the meantime followed Nemuri, reached a room and, upon entering it, she found a desk in front of her, positioned in the center of the room with a pen and a questionnaire above.

The hero who, in the meantime, brought Kurumi here, turning and looking at her, said, "This is the room where you will take the test. When you pick up the pen, a timer will start, and after exactly an hour, your test will conclude."

Afterward, turning the body slightly, she said "If you need anything I'm in the next room, I will arrive as soon as the timer is finished."

"Good luck," she added next.

Kurumi watched Nemuri enter a room, closing the door behind her immediately afterward, she also entered, starting the test.

The test is not difficult. It is not difficult at all since the questions do not present true or false or correct and wrong answers. It is more a questionnaire to understand what kind of hero you are, therefore, to understand your character and personality.

Seeing it, Kurumi started to compile it in a good way, but not in a perfect way. It doesn't help. The more a person seems excellent, the more he or she hides something "rotten" inside.

Kurumi doesn't need to be "perfect" in the eyes of others.

In this way, after a precise hour, Nemuri entered to check the situation and noting that Kurumi has finished, nodding, she said, "Perfect, come with me that we are going to the bus, as far as the test is concerned, leave it there on the desk as well."

Therefore, Kurumi started following Nemuri again. This time, however, she was taken out of the institute where a bus was positioned.

Nemuri subsequently got on the bus and with her also Kurumi. The first thing Kurumi noticed is that inside the bus several teachers are seated, the same teachers that were previously in the meeting room.

Seeing this, Kurumi immediately thought, 'The teachers will look at me during the exam to judge me, or ... they are the ones I have to face.'

This is a question that Kurumi must ask herself, in case it is a simple exercise like destroying some robot as she has read on the internet, then it is a thing, but if she has to face heroes, it is another.

The answer to her question, however, was revealed shortly after the bus left.

"Kurumi, you are probably wondering why there are some teachers here," said Nemuri, to then continue, "the answer is that they have come to see your fighting skills, in addition, some of them will be your opponent today."

"That's right. This will be a field test with real opponents, real heroes."

Hearing this, Kurumi immediately said in her mind, 'I knew it ...'

The heroes or at least the U.A., cannot rely on simple robots to verify the skills of a person who will become an ȧssistant professor.

Not long after, the bus stopped, and going out with the teachers, Kurumi found herself in front of a city, with many skyscrapers, the bus stopped inside a square, positioned below all these buildings. Around the place, there is a circle made of metal, suspended through metal pillars.

Seeing the place, Kurumi was amazed at the money they had. She never expected them to build entire neighborhoods just to test the fighting skills of students or whatever.

Furthermore, Kurumi recognized the place; in fact, it is the Underpass in Shinjuku in the city of Tokyo.

Seeing Kurumi watching the surroundings, the hero Kurumi identified as a "cowboy" earlier, said, "it is in this place that the field test will take place."

Hearing the hero, Kurumi nodded, looking at him, then asked, "How will it be done?"

Kurumi's question was not answered by the "cowboy" but by Present Mic who said, "Tokisaki-san you will be in a situation where you will have to face robbers who barricaded themselves inside a building, with some hostages."

Immediately afterward, he continued, saying, "Your job is to save the hostages, meanwhile putting the thugs out of the game if you can. In this case, we heroes will do both the bad guys and the hostages."

Then, giving the thumbs-up, he said aloud, with an excited air, "Cool, right?"

Cool ... Kurumi cannot confirm it, but the situation is certainly challenging because in such a case, many factors must be taken into account.

Kurumi could very well use her "Shadow Manipulation" ability and end it here, classifying herself as a "Rescue Hero", but then, she thought about using it. Her clone, who is currently a member of the League of Villains, uses that ability. For this reason, she must rely on Zafkiel.

Also, if you use more than one skill, the situation would become more complex.

Kurumi has learned from her clone how the leader behind the League of Villains has the ability to steal other people's Quirks and deliver them to others, in case they see that she can use more skills, they would instantly attribute it to him.

Kurumi doesn't want to see it.

Kurumi has never heard of such a person, but she still firmly believes that such a person has already acted somewhere and had also been famous.

It is impossible that this man is unknown.
